Did anyone besides me really like X Factor?

Justin Credible, Albert and X-Pac. These three names barely register in today's wrestling landscape, but for a brief period in 2001, they managed to capture my attention. The best part? I don't even like Justin Credible, Albert and X-Pac. Separately, I can't stand anything they do, but as a group, I was totally in from the moment they formed. Maybe it was because it meant I wouldn't have to watch three separate segments with these guys, but would instead only have to watch one extended segment.

Still can't put my finger on it, but I liked these guys. Maybe it was the music...

So, WrestleZone, what short-lived, bad stables/pairings have you liked throughout the years?

I agree. There was something about X Factor that hooked me in when they joined forces. Maybe it was the music (I did like Uncle Kracker til we went totally soft), or maybe it was the fact that they kinda reminded me of me and my two closest friends. Three guys not really overly popular with anyone, but they got together and didn't care.

Another group that I remember liking but not totally sure why was the Union. Mankind, yeah, that I can explain, maybe even Big Show. Maybe it was just Test and Shamrock teaming with them that made those two likeable, but for some reason, The Union worked for me.

Well, I was only 12 years old when they were around, and whilst I was watching during that time my memories of them are limited in detail. I do remember that they clicked quite well, however. Although I barely knew who he was at the time, I clearly remember marking out for some reason when Justin Credible first came to X-Pac's aid and I just thought it was pretty cool.

loved x-factor...the music, the purple lights, and three underutilized talents clicking very nicely...

t & a were a team i always wished for better things from. i still to this day think that test and albert both were terribly misused, and could have done much more than they did.

i also really dug the original unholy alliance...undertaker, big show, viscera and mideon. i know vis and mideon got kicked to the curb early in the run, but the initial grouping of all 4 men was very cool at the time.

I thought X-Factor were pretty good. I never really liked Albert before or after that faction, but I was always a fan of Justin Credible's work in ECW and I would have liked to have seen him be given a bigger chance than he was in WWE. They never really gave X-Factor any decent push and I think they should have

Obviously they had the awesome theme music, the cool purple lighting and I always liked X-Pac as a performer in his younger days. I know since he left the WWE everything he has done has been awful, but in WWE I never understood the hatred he got. He was always pretty good, and well above average.

*Whew* I'm so glad I'm not the only one! As others have said I didn't care for any of the 3 separately but when they were together something clicked (and I can't stand Uncle Kracker but LOVED their theme). Other pairings I liked were Head Cheese and Right To Censor (something about Ivory all dressed up).

All these had their own gimmick, but you have to go to the beginning of factions then to the best ever. The first being then four Horseman. Not when they had steve Mongo or Paul Romo, But Ole & Arn Anderson, Tully Blachered and Ric Flair.

I’ll even say when Berry Windman was in there was ok. Then N.W.O the being Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Hulk Hogan and X-pac. Not N.W.O red and black or gold and black or wolf pack. But all factions just like these two will eventually get watered down by management to increase profit but as they try to do this they hurt the product..

Totally agreed, they just seemed cool, I think they had a nice balance of muscle (albert) speed (x-pac) and...Justin Credible (who I never liked).

Speaking of bad but good tag teams, when scotty 2 hotty teamed with albert the "hip-hop hippo", again I think they worked and had a great balance.

Also Steve Blackman when he teamed both with Al Snow and with Grand Master Sexay, it was just quite funny, with him being a good martial artist and being a serial straight man, it was great!

X-factor was good. I liked it.

But, my favorite one has to be the JOB Squad. These were vurtually jobbers teamed up in entertaining segments and teams. Hardcore Holly, Al Snow, were just a couple of guys in it.

u guys are joking right? that theme song was terrible! it sounded like a love song when they came out. x-factor was a good idea, but the addition of Albert was terrible. That guy was NEVER over at any point in his career, and for some reason he still wrestles in japan!

The teaming of X-Pac and Aldo was great though. I think it was just because they both looked a like. They should have made them brothers and give them a gimmick.

Nothing. I'm pretty sure they never won the tag belts and they didn't even win many matches. But I along with apparently a lot of people liked them. I always like X-Pac though. From DX to X-Factor I always liked him. His matches could be a little stale and he overused his kicks but he seemed like a decent enough wrestler.
