Desmond Wolfe Removed From Impact Wrestling's Roster Page

Pre-Show Stalwart
Desmond Wolfe has been removed from ImpactWrestling.com's roster page. This is often an indication that a wrestler has parted ways with TNA Wrestling.

Wolfe has been sidelined from in-ring competition since September due to medical leave. There were rumors that he had hepatitis but we have been unable to confirm that. Wolfe resurfaced on TNA programming last month as the commissioner of Xplosion. -TWN

If Wolfe and TNA have parted ways, it's sad to see but if the health rumors are true, then it was probably inevitable. Nigel McGuinness/Desmond Wolfe looked like he had such upside when he first joined TNA. He was originally planned as one of the members of Flair's Fourtune and his first feud was with Kurt Angle.

Then things seemed to go down hill after he was replaced by Kaz in Fourtune and put with Magnus to form London Brawling, which was short lived to say the least.

I'm not sure if this was his last appearance with TNA, but here is the video of when Wolfe returns too TNA on Xplosion to announce he is the Commissioner of the show. The crowds reaction is pathetic (thanks Impact Zone!) and Wolfe's music doesn't help the cause either. I saw a thread about does a wrestler's music matter? It definitely does, as well as all that other shit(lights, pyro, good sound system, etc.)

I'd hoped I'd see Wolfe wrestling again on Impact Wrestling, but it looks like that won't happen. He'll be missed.

It's pretty known that he has Hepetitis C, and honestly that's why I for one have really taken a dislike to blading, or not blading, but over blading. There is no need for someone to bleed in every match or segment.

Feel sorry for Nigel, this guy was the guy in ROH a few years back. Him and Danielson put Ring of Honor on the map, their feud over the ROH Pure Championship had several five star matches, one of which I believe got recogntion from either PWI or the Wrestling Observer.

Sad to see him leave TNA if it's true, I believe they offered him an office job, and he's acting in the California area so that could be his next step. I heard that he was receiving treatment or attempting to, and that it would take over two years for him to be cleared to wrestle. Don't know the truth in that.

Good luck McGuinness. Awesome wrestler.

I've posted this here before, but I think it's fitting now and for some of those who hadn't seen Desmond Wolfe/Nigel Mcguinness' work in ROH. The more it sets in, the more it sucks.
