As we saw on Raw last night, Dean Ambrose suffered an injury to his right arm during his six man match with Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan against Samoa Joe and the Bar. Initially, it kinda sorta looked like it might be a work but it's been confirmed today that Ambrose was legitimately injured and that he's been working with an injured right elbow for a while now, he's been wearing that sleeve on his right arm for little while now. Ambrose is scheduled to head to Birmingham, Alabama on Wednesday to be examined; there's no word on how long he'll be out, though a better idea of that will come about after he's examined tomorrow and the exact nature of the injury is revealed.
It seems that the reunion for the Shield just can't catch a break. First, Roman Reigns is sidelined by a bad case of the mumps for a few weeks and now there's a real chance Ambrose may be out for months, depending on what type of injury he suffered and how severe. It's always a shitty thing when a wrestler gets hurt, they're human beings after all, but it sucks all the more when it's someone that's as over as Ambrose and is frequently involved on top storylines. It's hard to see exactly how Ambrose was further injured last night, going by just being part of that suicide dive, so my guess is that something just suddenly gave during the match, the injury was exacerbated or Ambrose has an issue that needed to be dealt with and the "injury" of last night was his way of being written off TV until it's fixed.
