I think the person who will take the title from him will more than likely be Dolph Ziggler. The reason being that in all of their encounters, DB has won, leaving Ziggler shorthanded. I think Ziggler will try to seek revenge on the loss with a title unification match at WRESTLEMANIA.

I would book it by having the Anonymous GM say that they have decided to unify the titles, with the champion appearing on both shows. (THIS ALONE WILL MAKE THE TITLES MORE PRESTIGIOUS). If the champion appears on both shows there will be more emphasis on the title.

Next Jericho, Tyson Kidd will not face Sheamus. They are both heels. And in their current places in the WWE a match between the two would not make sense.

i think an interesting idea would be have a member of nexus face bryan preferably justin gabriel those two would have a good solid match with the highflying display of gabriels and the technical of bryan. Also have gabriel win to give him a push as he has great potential (with exception of mic skills)
I think the location would be the night after no way out on raw as it would create a good rematch at mania that could steal the show.
I would have gabriels win in an obvious way nexus cause the result either before or during the match because it keeps bryan as a strong competitor

I have three picks. But before I say it, you need to take in mind that Daniel Bryan has bring some SERIOUS prestige back to the US title. Being that said, his successor needs to be someone who can mantain that prestige. So taking in count these "standars" if you will, here are my picks:

CM Punk: the storyline was getting closer before Punk's injury. Can you imagine the epicness of that match! Punk vs Bryan, I think it could go months and months. However with the on going feud with Cena and Nexus it would become a step back for Punk.

John Morrison: I think JoMo could be one hell of a US champ. He needs to get some gold quickly and I don't think it's going to be the WWE championship. Unlike Punk, this won't be a step back for Morrison, he is perfect for the job.

And my final and favorite choice: Chris Jericho: I don't know where to begin this feud, but I think it could be like the feud Jericho had with Rey Mysterio. You know a very back and forth feud, where from time to time they could change the title. Plus Jericho has exactly what it takes to make Bryan even MORE over.

In either of those three cases, I'm sure they could steal the show.

I'm going for Ted.

I just think that this "losing streak" is kind of on purpose. The WWE want him to lose in the final weeks of 2010 so he can start a clean victory streak in 2011. Not only will this mean we see a meaner Ted it would also be a good way to move him away from his father's gimmick a bit and not make it about money. Although Daniel Bryan has had the title for 4 months and is making it very credible

Jack Swagger...speaking of All 'American American' to have US title. Don't think it'll happen in near future though as both of them are on different brands.

I voted Other with Sheamus in mind. While I believe (and hope) that Sheamus will be headed to Smackdown in the near future, I think he will be Bryan's foil if he stays on RAW.

Sheamus has sort of been bumped down out of the main event with the deliverance of The Miz as WWE Champion and CM Punk being put back in the picture. He's done his bit with both Cena, Orton, and JoMo and I assume he and Triple H will wrap things up pretty quickly once Triple H gets back, so he's out of main event faces to feud with. Daniel Bryan is the next closest guy to the main event, so they put Sheamus with Bryan. These two do have a history, though it is extremely brief. Sheamus beat Bryan in a squash match after he basically kicked the shit out of him and then continued to do so after the bell.

I say Sheamus challenges Bryan for the title, and the two fight for it at a post-Mania PPV, and Bryan wins by forcing Sheamus to tap out. Sheamus says the fight wasn't fair for one reason or another, Bryan gets the crowd chanting you tapped out, and offers a rematch, and this time, Sheamus goes over dirty, becoming the US Champ.

I don't think DBD needs the belt to remain relevant on RAW. By the time he loses the belt I think it will be safe to assume Miz will also have lost his championship, so Miz and DBD will be able to finish their feud, perhaps culminating at Summerslam.

Sheamus, on the other hand, is much more in need of the belt. His reign as King of the WWE has been uneventful, and losing number one contender matches he hasn't really done anything that interesting lately. Putting the belt on him gives him more of a storyline, and he would be a good guy to have defend the belt on a semi-regular basis.

Sheamus may not be typical midcard title material right now, but I have no doubt that he could become a very capable US Champion.
