Cryme Tyme Contrversy

The Boston Metro paper has posted an article that talks about the negative stereotyping of Cryme Tyme's gimmick and one man's fight to have WWE do away with the gimmick.

Does anyone else make a big deal about Cryme Tyme's gimmick. IMO it's just a bit of humour that is just something to laugh at as it takes the crap out of criminals in "Da Hood". I could see where the guy was coming from but come on this should just get a sense of humour. Do people make a big deal about kids screaming "Suck It"? Hell no.

It looks to me like the Attitude Era is coming back.

I'm black and I actually want to see them get in the ring. I also want to see Shelton Benjamin join them, and get the push he deserves.

I think that when Cryme Time debuts on RAW, they will do stuff like what they've been doing in the promos to superstars and people outside the arenas. it would be cool if they joined forces with DX and helped them torment the McMahons!

O^^^^f course they are future tag champions, and if they break up at some point, one of them will become a singles champ. Just about everyone wins a title within a couple of years of being on Raw or Smackdown.

WWE is not doing that, they have tons of Blacks that are not like them, Lashley, Booker T anybody? You only stereotype if all their black stars were like that.

Hey my best mate is Black and a huge Raw fan and he thinks tha Crime Time are funny as fuck......... He's basically said on another forum tha most Black people like to act Ghetto even when they aint...... So if Black people dont have a problem with this which i think they should'nt then people should shut tha fuck up and realize its only a character........
