Crowd Reaction To CENA at Unforgiven.

With regards to an earlier report, the crowd reaction to CENA was not as pleasent as reported. To say CENA was Booed is an understatement. He was hated but majority of the people there. There were some that cheered him when he first came out, but during the match those who cheered were booing. The highlight for me thought came at the end of the match as CENA was walking back up the ramp. I was sitting 3rd row and my seat was next to the ramp wall. People were giving him the finger right in his face and screaming every swear you can think of. But the best is when a fan opened their fountain drink and threw the whole thing in CENA's face. CENA took it like a "Champ" and kept looking straight ahead and didnt acknowlegde what had just happened.

If you werent there live, I would suggest buying the DVD and watching CENA's face during the whole match and you could tell it bothered him something fierce to get that Booed.

Seriously, they really need to role with it. Unless it was just the Canadians. They sometimes have a tendency to boo favorites just cause.

I'm not much of a Cena fan, but doing stuff like throwing a drink in a superstar's face is really uncalled for. They're not there to entertaine you, and you like them or not, boo them, cheer them. But in my opinion stuff like that should'nt happen'..

A quick note. The guy who throw the drink in CENA's face was escorted to the back by WWE security. They grabbed him and kepy shoving him till I couldnt see him anymore. It was pretty funny.

Lol I saw the prog last night I saw his face you could tell he wanted to lash out but was trying to keep a lid on it all.
I felt a bit bad for him yes its fun to boo him coz he does same old stuff but the water in the face was a bit overboard.
I was half expecting the crowd to throw him his hat and shirt back at him at the beggining of the match like at ONS.

I am definitely not a Cena fan but I do believe that soda to the face is uncalled for. His job is to entertain and we are all tired of seeing him all we have to do is keep booing him and Vince will get the hint, not be amateurs and throw pop at he guy.

EDGE was over huge though. It was good for him.
When CENA threw his shirt and hat into the crowd everyone was yelling to throw it back but a couples of kids got them so no one really cared that much. ohh at the end a few bottles were thrown into the ring too.

Its mainly because he is stale in his gimmick and because he has a very limited moveset around 5 moves and he always goes over wrestlers who are more technically sound than him.
He is also very repetitious too in that all his matches he gets owned then last moments he suddenly blasts out a FU and wins.

You are soo very true. Lastnight EDGE took more vicious bumps and falls than CENA. EGDE was also going out of his way to be innovative with the match as CENA was just there doing his 1 of 5 moves with a chair in his hand. In my opinion EDGE was there to put over CENA. Which really stinks cause EDGE is really coming into his own as a single.

Edge looked f'n amped last nite... he was living his dream... IT was the most important match in his entire life, performin as champ in his hometown at a PPV... crazy... poor guy, wish he won, hes put in his dues

I was there live as well and the only way I could describe the entire audience's reaction was pure hatred. Waiting outside the doors CENA SUCKS chants were everywhere. The best part was when a fan on the floor threw a water bottle at him at the finish. I'm not condoning it, but it perfectly summed up our feelings toward him.

And for stonecoldbiggestfan, come here to discuss wrestling, not be an idiot. I'm not gonna lower myself to insulting you because well, I'm better than that. Keep it up and get banned, please.
