Crock's Graphics

Here's another CM Punk sig. I like how this came together. Again (as seems to be a theme with most of my signatures) it is very simple, but pleasing to look at, I feel. I did a little bit of desaturation, along with adding a photo filter or two. Really all there is to it.

It's a Jets signature I made (obviously). I found an image of Antonio Cromartie I wanted to use and worked off of it. Lots of shadow and light stuff here, adjustments to get the image right, photo filters, and so on. Then I tossed in the logo, but I wanted to give it an edge too, so I tinkered with it, using multiple layers, to get it here.

Feedback would be much appreciated.

Dear god, Crock. This is perfection. I love everything about this sig. It just all looks so professional and clean. It, as you say, is extremely simple. But, I love this purple vibe I'm getting from it, god knows from where. It all fits perfectly. And, I like your choice of not using text. It makes the images stick out more. Beautiful work, Crock.

These are two pieces done in the exact same style and I like them both, but I like the Captain America one far more. This just had to do with making the render stand out above all else and showing off light and dark. I used the burn and dodge tools, which I rarely use, as well.

Feedback, as always, is welcome.

Just something quick I whipped up in honor of WWE 12. I really love the main render of Lesnar and the picture in the back is one of my favorites as well. The text is a departure from my usual "simple" choices, mostly just trying stuff out.

Simple graphic, pretty much just made to try out some new stuff.

Man Crock this is some awesome stuff. Wish you take request but still awesome. The Goku one is really amazing and it looks like you really take your time to this. The Captain America one just looks like pure gold cause of the background. Hope you do some more awesome stuff.

The Captain America one is spot on. Congrats on a metric ton of great graphics. I'm certainly happy to be back in the graphics community here.

I needed to update my signature, so I wanted to whip something up. It's pretty low key, but it took some work. I had to work on the image itself to get it to where I liked it, which took me some time and adjustments, then I added the text in, but I wanted it to have that soft light effect going. I'm really happy with this and I would love feedback.

I am beyond happy with how this turned out. This is my favorite piece I've ever done. I took a page out of Sanka Coffie's page and used a skyline, much like he did in his Orton sig (the inspiration for this one). I adjusted the colors, the background, added in effects, the works. Some clouds, a bokeh, lots of different stuff here. The font is my new favorite fans, DejaVu Sans, I really like how it fit in with the whole thing. The border is simple, not much there.

Feedback will be repped and VERY VERY welcome.

I too think this is one of your better pieces. I daresay it's your best. The font and background is fitting, it's simple and aesthetically pleasing, and as an overall piece, it looks very good.

It doesn't look like you did too much image manipulation, but as I said in an earlier post, what really matters is if it looks good to the eye, and this piece really is good to look at.

Stellar work, Crock. And, for the record, I was going to give you some feedback before your enticement of giving rep.

A new sig I made in honor of Kane's return. I found a solid photo of a burning city, so I just worked off of that. I fit his "new" look in the corner, did some text, adjustments, and I'm pleased with the result.

Feedback is, as always, appreciated.

Boredom makes you do strange things, like make sigs, I guess. I couldn't help but make this, I love both guys and am elated with where they are in the company right now. I found an old picture of theirs that I loved, then worked from there. Added in a layer of brushing, some overlays, photo filters. Then I tossed in my renders, sharpened them, added a border, some text, and voila.

Feedback would be very much appreciated.

Well, it's that time of year -- Undertaker might be making his return. As such, I went ahead and made a 'Taker sig. This was more complicated than my usual style, but I really like how it turned out. There's an image of 'Taker sitting up in a casket in the background, but that really just serves to back up the larger image of Undertaker. Used a purple photo filter to tie it all together, some text, borders, etc.

I'd love some feedback.

Crock you have out done yourself here. This is sig is brilliant and I really love the background. This sig is just awesome and probably my favorite sig so far. The image is really cool and bravo Crock.

Well, this is a new style I've been trying out. These are all the same sig, basically, just switching out colors, renders, and whatnot. The Edge sig is my favorite out of the bunch, but I'm very happy with all of them. They're not too complex, but they take some time to "perfect." I'd love any and all feedback.

You could use some help in your work, especially in terms of lighting, blending, coloring and in your typography work.

I'm going to be honest, you suck, however you are not the worst around here, but you really need to practice your photoshop skills a little more.

Some advices:
  • Text is important, if you don't know how to work with it, don't use it.
  • Adjustment Layers are somehow useful, in fact they are always needed.
  • Sharpening and Smudging can also help, but don't get to crazy with that.
  • Textures suck! Brushing is 100x better, so search some good pack of brushes.

I would like to give you a challenge!
Start a work with an "almost" black background and think about a sig with a Diva! You can't screw up a Diva work, they always look good.
Use Kelly Kelly or Eve Torres and I can't wait to see what you can come up with.

That guy's a wanker, Crock. He's probably some alt. Don't take no notice. Apart from your Rey Mysterio one, which almost gets lost in Mysterio's face, you always hit the mark when it comes to text. He probably just googles his sigs, anyway.

Really like the RVD and Edge sigs, gotta agree with Minimum Wage on the Rey one, though.

The Edge render is excellent, as is the positioning, if I had any criticism it would be the graininess on the Edge logo. But that's a minor niggle.

The RVD sig is bob-on.

The result of a tutorial here. I'm happy with how it came out. I've wanted to do a sig like this for a while, so that tutorial really helped me out with that. Simple stuff for the most part, lots of smudging, then some burn and dodge tool use as well. The color of the whole thing came from a gradient, which I just set to an opacity of 30 or something -- whatever the tutorial said. I'm gonna try to inject my own style into this later on. More to come.

Feedback is appreciated.

The style and more simple look of Ziggler's one isn't something I'd usually go for, but I do like it. Ignore those comments from the "Future Endeavoured Eye Contact", because these sigs are good. You've come along a long way since you started.

The RVD, Rey & Edge ones are brilliant, as is The Undertaker. I love the look in his eyes. That 'Taker one, I just wanna steal it and parade it around pretending it's mine.

Great work Crock, as always.

I would've edited the last post, but I just ran out of time. This was a request, so I whipped it up. It's in the same style as the Edge/RVD/Rey ones, just with Randy Orton (obviously). I really liked the render when I saw it, so I knew it was the one I'd work with, plus, it fit in perfectly with the sig. I used the burn and dodge tools on this one too, which isn't something I usually do, I just wanted to work on a few spots.
