Just a thought,

Do you think TNA could be the company to bring back Stables in wrestling? As in good stables that last long?

And do u think LAX has great longievity?

I think so. There are/were already a few actual stables. Given that TNA's creative team is pretty good, I think they could make stables a good thing. TNA should bring in some more techincal/mat wrestlers and put them behind Angle

No way. Angle should be a loner for the remainder of his career. IMO he works best as this intense monster who goes out there for himself and no one else, and just rips the competition to shreds.

As for LAX, one of the best if not THE best stables to emerge from a mainstream wrestling promotion in a long time. I think they have an awesome gimmick, Konnan as the mouthpiece works, and Homicide and Hernandez are the perfect complement to one another in terms of their individual gimmicks and in-ring styles. The aura of violence and the raw emotion that emanates from their matches and promos in off the chain. I can truly and hoestly say that without LAX, the last month of TNA would have absolutely sucked. They should continue to get pushed until they cannot get pushed any higher. As for Konnan's idea to add another member - I think it could work. They need to be careful not to add too many, but another one or two excellent workers from the independent circuit would be awesome and would really put LAX on the map as a huge force to be reckoned with.

They need to break up this little clique with Sabin/Dutt and Lethal. As good as this little group could be (as long as they steered clear of this whole Jackass bullshit - I know they were going for a DX like touch - but TNA fans dont wanna see that shit) there is not enough competition in the X-Division to create cliques within it. They should all be competing against eachother in top level matches. Sabin was at one point being touted as the next big one to emerge from the X-Division and ever since this clique was formed he has lost a lot of credibility in that ring - purely for the fact that his style was adjusted. Let the guy go out there and deliver the brutal stuff we know he is capable of.

I would like to see what T.N.A. could do with more stables, I believe they could create something as good as the n.W.o or D-X. But I dont think an hour a week is enough time to build up a truly successful stable.

nWo and DX are very, very, hard to touch much less beat, but it is possible.

And I agree, Angle should be solo for a very long time, and if he is able to continue to wrestle for years and years and year, they shouldn't have him in a stable until he is barely able to wrestle anymore, and then put him in so he can put some younger guys over and stuff.

honestly i can do without LAX, there whole anti-white people thing has turned me off of them. i really like sabin/dutt/lethal. i think their c ocky, care free attitudes are a good fit for them now if they'd just cut out the goofy ass pranks they'd be even better.

Lax Is Average At Best. Cant Touch Dx From Early Years Or The Nwo. I Think Stables R Hard To Create Nowadays Because Guys Go From Faces To Heels And So On So Much !!!

At first, I didnt think LAX would be as great as they are now. Konnans mic work is good, Homocide is the quickness and Hernandez is the muscle. Adding another member would work I think but they dont want to over do it by adding to many.

There was talk about adding Truth to the mix, but that idea was nixed by Jarrett.

Adding Killings would work I guess. He hasnt really had anything to do since the 3LK split up. Maybe he will get more of a chance when TNA goes to 2 hours.

WTF is up with people comparing any new stable to nWo.....ffs, no shit nWo was good, if you gonna throw 3 established stars into a new stable..of course its gonna be good..

Not because of that, we're just talking about how well thought out the idea was. It was put together so well and the brutality and violence that they brought with them was something that had never beeen done before in wrestling. The whole gang mentality - it was just awesome, and it was revolutionary. Thats what a new stable needs to be - REVOLUTIONARY. To many lame, watered-down, copycat versions of everything.

A good stable takes an original idea. NWO and DX were original ideas. DX on accident I guess when the Hart Foundation called them degenerates but anyway. At this time I don't think that TNA could pull off something like that. I think the James Gang had the best chance when they were somewhat affiliated with Konnan and the Truth that may have worked to a DX type thing if done right. I also like the whole Bobby Roode thing picking a manager that could create a stable there as well. I mean if Bobby Heenan is up to it thats a stable in the making. Also even the commish Jimmy Cornette the greatest manager of all time could easily make of stable because of his past accomplishment, charisma, and new found power.

i agree i think bobby roode and and a good manager could be the start of a really good stable. IF they had the right ppl with it tho

Raven's flock in WCW was one of the best stable concepts i've ever seen. Just taking up the front row at all events, dressed in rags, not being officially signed to the WCW but always jumping the guard-rails and getting involved in matches. It was a really cool concept. WCW just fucked it up and never capitalised on it. It could have been huge, but they were too busy worrying about the nWo.

huge? the Flock as never going to be "huge"

it WAS a great idea, and imo it was a well executed faction. they werent main event characters; they were excellent mid card workers, and that as played well.

what as wrong with ho they were pushed in your opinion?

nWo was the most revolutionary faction in the history of the business; do you really believe that the flock deserved more airtime then they got under the shadow of that beast?

Bobby Roode was already in that Canadian Stable that they broke up. His whole gimmick right now is he is moving into singles wrestling.

I would like to see some strong stables. The only problem can be that they get stale, for instance when DX was running the show basically back in 1999 I got boared with it
