CM Punk vs .....

#SAWFT

Pre-Show Stalwart
Okay, before anyone says it, the answer is not Nexus or The Corre. This feud will drag him away from that, hopefully.

I got this idea from another forum i posted on. Personally, I would have him win Money in the Bank, and have him pop up on both shows, taunting both the 'current' champions about who he'll cash in on. Drag that to Wrestlemania, and get the Rock to beat Cena, then let CM Punk do a run in. That would make him Super Heel of the century!

So, who would you want CM Punk to feud with next?

I think similar to how CM Punk resurrected his Randy Orton feud from two and a half years ago, the same should be done by restarting a feud with Evan Bourne since it was Punk who put him out of action for a while. That helps Bourne get a more important spot than a jobber and we all know he deserves that. Also I'm led to believe Bourne vs Punk would create interesting matches which is what we want.

With the way it is set up now there are 2 MITB briefcases. One for each show. So even if he did win, which unless he signs a new contract, he won't he would have to go after WWE Title on Raw. Unless there is a trade between brands I fear that he is stuck where he is for a bit. Personally the only fued there is right now is within the Nexus.

By the way you didnt get your idea from another "forum", you got if from this "forum" in a different "thread", and personally taking another's idea and posting your thoughts in a new thread is a waste of a thread. You could have kept this in the original thread and it would have been fine.

Here's the original thread and idea......

I Think the obvious choice is having him with Nexus face Mason Ryan because i think he will do a Face turn and if he don't re-sign with the WWE he will lose his feud with Mason to help him be the Next Batista and push him to the top

I think his character could really use a shot of adrenaline at the moment, because being saddled with Nexus has been killing him. Here's the two routes they could take him:

1.Turn him face (or don't) and have him feud with R Truth, if he's face it could be about how R Truth is smoking or whatever, have him attack Cole if you need the fans to cheer him.

If he's heel it could be that he's tired of hearing Truth whining about how he never gets opportunities and then Punk could talk about how he's been robbed and he's tired of Truth getting all this attention just because he started smoking or something, either way the two of them could have promo gold at the moment.

2. Alberto Del Rio, Cena is currently spread too thin, being involved in programs with half the roster. So get ADR out of that mix, and get a good program going between him and Punk, could lead to some good matches, and again great promos for these two.

Either way I don't think he should be involved in Money in the Bank, he's already a two time winner, it would just make it seem like he can't ever get in the title picture or gain any heat without MitB, it was okay the first couple of times but it will make him look weak if they keep going that route.

I've answered this before, haven't I? Hmm. I dunno, I suppose I could have dreamt it. I do have really unremarkable dreams so it's possible.

In this post - or dream, I don't know - I was all, "Hey man, they should draft Punk over to SmackDown and leave Orton on Raw. Punk can then have the world's greatest feud with Christian and then we can all agree on how they're having the greatest feud in the world and the WWE will close down because it's peaked and nothing could ever possibly compete." I suppose some WWE writer must have feared for their job and so, to prevent the greatest feud in the world from putting an end to World Wrestling Entertainment, they did the opposite before carving a hole in their monitor and literally fucking my idea. That almost definitely happened. The bastard.

As of right now, I'm trying to think who on Raw he could have a great feud with. Daniel Bryan got dropped out the airlock. Rey Mysterio has been done, I don't really want to see it revisited so soon. So, uh, speaking of revisiting stuff, I think it should be John Cena. Only, wait for it, do it properly this time. Rather than have the wet fart that is the Nexus dampen their great matches and great chemistry once again, this is what I'd do:

  1. The feud begins with Cena killing Nexus by hitting them with a truck. Tell Nexus that it's a stunt and it'll be fine, but do a Montreal screwjob and actually kill them. Full on run them over with an eight-wheeler. This may involve euthanizing some half alive, talentless, tire-crushed corpses after the show goes off air but tell me you wouldn't watch Raw if it went off the air with David Otunga screaming as blood streams from his eyes and his life slips away.

Know what? The rest really writes itself. One thing is clear - Nexus has to be brutally murdered. By a truck. And it needs to be televised.

If CM Punk is going to re-sign on his contract, it's time to push him into the title picture again. I agree with Sam, he needs to feud with John Cena and get a clean non-title win over him. I think he will most likely end up on the losing end of the feud. BUT, he needs to look like he did a good deal of damage to Cena during the course.

If CM Punk is saying peace out. Then....

have him put over someone like Evan Bourne. Like someone already said, Bourne was put out of action because of CM Punk. Listen, I know that CM Punk is way above Bourne's league, but i think this is the only feud that would be "worth it" if CM Punk were to leave. People might not agree with me on this one, but it needs to be someone who can get a good rub out of CM Punk before he parts ways, and this feud is already in a box and waiting to be unpacked.
