This Sunday, in a first for any world sport, Leeds Rhinos will become the first team in history to be given the opportunity to select their play-off opponents.

Leeds Rhinos finished Top of the Super League table this year, meaning they are given the chance to choose the team they play in the Semi-Final in order to progress to Old Trafford. Do you think this is a good idea? Not just for Rugby League, but sport in general?

I like it. I think with the new horrible Play off system this is the only good thing to come out of it - the bonus of finishing first over second, third or fourth.

Didn't see this thread. I am not a fan of it. I know whoever is picked to face Leeds will have extra motivation which will result in tackles being hit that extra bit harder and players that little bit quicker. I'm sure Leeds will still progress to the Grand Final whoever they play but having to make this decision is something I feel for them for having to make.
