Closed punches

Without much fanfare, if any, closed fist punches became legal in WWE about a month or so ago. Refs now only warn wrestlers and execute a 5 count when a wrestler is punching in the corner or in a mount position on the ground.

I honestly didn't notice this at all until I read it. IMO its not going to make much of a difference though.

Pretty much the only thing that could come out of this, in my point of view, is that more people will end up taking some stiff shots similar to how Jericho was clocked right in the jaw by Big Show a while back.

No big deal. I don't mind it, but its not something I've been aching for.

Pretty irrelevant change by the E. My enjoyment of their product will not be enhanced by this.

Jim ross is probably the only person who's affected by this, as it gives him 1 less thing to mention. He used the 5 count and broke at 4 blah blah blah
