Now most of us that have seen Clerks knows that it spawned 5 other movies in continuity, including 1 sequel.

But on Adult Swim, they are playing the cartoon that also spawned from it. Does anyone else enjoy the cartoon as well?

...5 sequels? There's only one sequel to Clerks, Clerks II. Not five.

I've seen the cartoon series many times, have it on DVD. Kind of stupid, but I love it all the same. I'm a Kevin Smith mark.

I'm not a big fan. And I think maybe he's considering the Jersey Trilogy as sequels to Clerks. It's a debatable topic. "Spiritual sequels", maybe. I'd be hard pressed to argue the point one way or the other. Kevin Smith has his moments, but I'm not a mark.

I meant they are all in continuity. I guess not sequels, except Clerks II, but the fact that they are part of the View Askewniverse was my main point.

Only ones i've seen are.. Clerks 1 and 2 and they are both awesome, Mallrats, Zack And Miri which is damn hilarious and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. But really after watching Clerks 2 i check out all of Smiths movies and i have to say im a mark too.

I think I would have to agree with most of the list. The first I saw was Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back in theaters in 2001. Then my brother brought over the other movies one day and we watched them all.

Jersey Girl has a few good moments here and there. But overall it's just rather amateurish and poorly done.

I used to LOVE Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, great stoner movie. After 10,000 viewings though, it grows very old. Same thing happened to me with Half Baked. I've seen Half Baked so many times I could probably recite the film to you.

Trust me, when I was like 12 and it came out on DVD, I popped that shit in every day after school and would watch it all afternoon and night, replaying it all the time. I could probably recite it too.

I really liked Zack & Miri. That montage with the Pixie's "Hey" playing sold me on that movie forever. Same with the bit with Blondie's "Dreaming". Smith made some genius music selections in that movie.
