Christopher Daniels - Back as CURRY MAN!

I believe it is Christopher Daniels, if you type christopher daniels into google, it shows that he wrestled as curry man in Japan. the black hair mentioned by other posters might be a hairpiece of some sought. Hope this clears this up. I also think the Curry Man - Shark Boy tandem could make a run for the TNA tag belts soon. Does Anyone agree?

People are actually doubting that it might not be Daniels? You're kidding me right? I mean, whether it truly is Daniels or not (and we all know that wrestling is good for a swerve or two), you can tell that it is a NON-JAPANESE wrestler under the mask when he speaks. It sounds like an American speaking Japanese rather than a Japanese born wrestler speaking.

But Curry Man is far from being a jobber. He and Sharkboy are actually meshing well as a team and their entertainment value right now is very high. So yes, I agree that they could be in for a tag team title run. And while I think that the Motor City Machine Guns should be getting the run instead, you gotta go with who's hot right now.

I absolutely am in love with Curry Man. Truthfully, I just did the little Curry man dance in my kitchen last night. He is completely entertaining and I bet that Daniels is having a blast being able to let loose and have fun with this gimmick. People- please remember that Curry Man is not suppose to be Christopher Daniels! This gimmick is completely seperate and is in TNA for comedic relief. It's suppose to be fun. It's just and added bonus that Daniels is playing the part and he happens to be a great wrestler.

I understand that when you watch the character, you aren't suppose to realize its Christopher Daniels. Unfortunately, thats the downside to having the internet. Because chances are, people who don't, have no clue.

The only reason I dislike the gimmick, is because I see Christopher Daniels as such a Main Event caliber Superstar, that I feel this is beneath him to do. This type of gimmick is reserved for guys without talent, who need stupid gimmicks to get over with the fans. (Dustin Rhodes, Rellik, even Sharkboy for examples)

Daniels, as Curry Man, will never become any type of Main Event Superstar. he'll likely never break away from being Sharkboy's Tag Team partner.. until Sharkey turns on him "Austin" style.. which will only hurt Daniels worse.

Ultimately, I agree that the gimmick is funny and entertaining. The Street Fight at the ppv was honestly one of the most enjoyable matches of the whole night. (that speaks volumes) And watching Sharkboy and Curry Man brings you to a level of peacefulness and happiness that you just don't normally have. I can't even explain that, to be honest. Its just one of those.. "I can't believe how stupidly funny this is" type of moments.

However, in the end, I hope more than anything they allow Daniels to break back to the "Fallen Angel" and let him get back to the Christopher Daniels that was such a huge threat to A.J. Styles. Because it was THAT Christopher Daniels that became my favorite Superstar to watch in all of T.N.A.

I agree completely. I love Christopher Daniels as he is unbelieveably talented. I, as well, feel that he is a main event calibur wrestler. The Curry Man gimmick is just a filler until Daniels is repackaged as himself. For storyline purposes it is essential that the 2 are kept seperate.

I've seen a few shoot interviews by Daniels and he seems like a very light hearted and fun loving guy, very different from his Fallen Angel gimmick. I think Curry Man is an extension of his real personality and it's just a way to keep him crisp (and keep the TNA paychecks coming) while the Christopher Daniels "fired" storyline is at work.

Once again the girl is right on the money, Damn. Could you not post for a week so I can express my opinions, lol.

Well at the risk of sounding repetetive, DAniels is one of the main reasons I started watching TNA, his X Division title defenses were amazing, and before that in XXX with Skipper, magnificent!
Perrsonally I'm not a fan of CurryMan in itself, but I'm enjopying this game I've made up, I watch one of his matches (as CurryMan) and try to find anything thats the same, move wise it's damn near impossible, and that makes him a damn good performer to be able to differentiate like that!

Keep it up Daniels, can't wait for the new Gimmick. Is he maybe growing his (real) hair whilst wearing that mask!!?
