Cast Announced for Three Stooges movie

I read on Yahoo Movies the other day that most of the cast has been assembled for the Stooges movie that is slated to hit theatres in 2010, with Sean Penn as Larry, Jim Carrey as Curly, and Benicio del Toro is in negotiations to play Moe. This seems pretty awesome to me, even though I'm interested to see how Penn and del Toro do in comedy. I know Jim Carrey will take Curly and run with it. And as a fan of the original tv show, I am hella excited. Thoughts?

I might actually pay to see this, just to see how Penn does comedically. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this his first comedy since "Fast Times"? I'm also curious to see how Carrey handles his return to straight comedy. Will he go over the top? I can't see him doing the oldschool slapstick, and be undertoned. Seems like it might be worth my 10$

I would pay to see this movie either in theatres or when it comes out on DVD since I am a huge fan of the tv show. The biggest thing that I have for this movie is how will Carrey, Penn & del Toro(possibly) play as Larry, Curly & Moe. Seems like it might be worth the $10-$12 to go see the movie.
