It looks like their's 3 inches of snow on the ground and they're on tv acting like Armageddon is coming. All the roads look dry but they're driving 10 miles a hour. Thank God i'm not from California.

THATS nothing. one time when I went ot Baghdad it was snowing, and the people REFUSED to come outside, for fear. and they said that since the snow accompanied our arrival, that they thought that WE did it. we made it snow.

Ten years ago Toronto called in the Army to deal with a larger snow fall. Everyone was in disbelief, like 'WTF, isn't this Canada?'. Before Afgahnistan this was the last big event that the Canadian miliatary was used for.

I remember we had to have the national guard here in 2002 for an ice storm. Went to a hotel and the power went out there. A flashlight powered football game broke out in the hallways.

It was sooooo annoying. You could see grass blades sticking through the snow but the weather man was on tv dressed like he was in a blizzard telling people not to go outside.

well being from Southern California....I could tell you first hand that we are not used to it. I dont mind the weather but dont exactly want to go outside when its cold (California's definition of cold). When it rains here, it is a news story.

Amen, We take our own full size nets to the local park, Last summer we took on the polish guys in a 4 hour game.

Awesome. I love games like that, just take random breaks but play for hours. They're the best games. Just show off about 500 tricks, always fun.

Haha, Yeah play for an hour, Go get some refreshments, Play another 90mins, Rest for 20, Then play until it become a chore to walk home. lol
