King Of The Wasteland
So my assignment is a self initiated project. I'm designing a compilation album for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I've been designing some covers for the front and back.

That's not the problem, I need help with the track listing. It's going to be a 2CD set with tracks from all ten albums. I just need some help sorting it out.

Here's what I've got

Disc 1

1. True Men Don't Kill Coyotes (3:40)
2. Get Up And Jump (2:53)
3. Out In L.A (2:01)
4. Jungleman (4:09)
5. Catholic School Girls Rule (1:56)
6. Yertle The Turtle (3:47)
7. Fight Like A Brave (3:52)
8. Me & My Friends (3:07)
9. Behind The Sun (4:39)
10. Higher Ground (3:23)
11. Subway To Venus (4:25)
12. Knock Me Down (3:45)
13. Taste The Pain (4:32)
14. Fire (2:03)
15. Sexy Mexican Maid (3:23)
16. Breaking The Girl (4:55)
17. Suck My Kiss (3:37)
18. Give It Away (4:43)
19. Under The Bridge (4:24)
20. My Lovely Man (4:39)
21. Love Rollercoaster (4:37)
22. My Friends (4:02)

Disc 2

1. Warped (5:04)
2. Aeroplane (4:45)
3. Tearjerker (4:19)
4. Transcending (5:46)
5. Around The World (3:58)
6. Scar Tissue (3:35)
7. Californication (5:21)
8. Road Trippin' (3:25)
9. By The Way (3:37)
10. The Zephyr Song (3:52)
11. Can't Stop (4:29)
12. Dani California (4:42)
13. Snow (Hey Oh) (5:37)
14. Readymade (4:30)
15. Monarchy Of Roses (4:12)
16. Look Around (3:28)
17. The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie (4:42)

Any help would be appreciated

Pretty decent selection of songs, I would definitely add "Fortune Faded" and "Otherside" though, great tunes!

I'm guessing you are looking at making the CD track listing run in chronological order starting with their oldest stuff and ending with the latest songs, but I wouldn't do that, as the Chili's biggest success, as far as I am aware, has been in the albums since Blood Sex Sugar Magik and Californication, and alot of the songs that newer fans will know will be stuck on disc 2? I'm no Chili's expert so I'm not 100% sure though....

I personally prefer the songs to be in a mixed up order, starting with one with a good intro, and ending with the most "epic" sounding one but I know some people like seeing them in order and looking how the band has changed over time, personal preferance I guess.

Oh and take out "Love Rollercoaster"... horrendous song
