Burn Notice

Pfft if there's going to be any spinoff it best be a spinoff for Bruce Campbell's character.

Did you catch The Fall of Sam Axe? Thoroughly enjoyable fare. It's a pretty cool way for Sam to have been Court Marshalled and Discharged.

Also, really enjoyed the first episode of this season, here's hoping tonight's is equally strong.

What I feel is going to happen:

Considering the episode is quickly sealing up, Michael (like Jesse) is going to realize the Spy business isn't as great as it used to be, he's going to like doing things his own way, and he's going to quit. Fi and Michael are going to go in the sunset at the end of August, and the season ends.

Then there will be a spin off with Jesse and Sam.

I'm feeling it, this episodes gonna be a good one.

Sad thing is, I think they've juiced this show as much as possible, this is going to be the last season.

Fantastic episode! That twist came out of nowhere, hit me like a brick. I have a feel Michael will find something in those papers.

And Big Show next week! Awesome. Was it just me..or was he in his ring gear?

Awesome episode. The first couple of episodes didn't really feel like Burn Notice, but this one was classic Burn Notice at its finest.

When the guy was revealed as an actual FBI agent, my jaw literally dropped. Awesome twist.

Another Thursday another night of Burn Notice. And this week, Big Show is on. This should be interesting.

Wow. That was intense. Sounds like those unanswered questions Michael was looking into might be another person...another person who might be looking to get Michael burned...again. Poor Max...eh...I didn't like him anyways.

That Eve though...who knew Aviva Farber was that fierce. Big Show didn't do much though...matter of fact...he seemed like a bitch. Looks like Michael's getting away clean though. Sure he'll have some splaining to do with the CIA though.

I just recently read before tonight's episode start that Lauren Stamile will be on investigating a murder. I had no idea who was going to be murdered, but I think we'll be seeing her for awhile.

I thought this show was over at the end of the season, but I learned never to doubt the Burn Notice writers. They could keep this going, they could end it at the end of the season at the end of August.

A matter of fact, I just read we are guaranteed at least another season after this.

Great episodes. My guess, one of those loose ends that Michael and friends left from the burning is there...and they want Michael burned again.

Sadly, Michael told Mrs. Cia chick that he had something from the video tapes, so it will be even harder to cover it up.

Another Thursday, another episode of Burn Notice. Has anyone been reading the little comics they've been releasing every Thursday, explaining what's been going on in the time from last season to before this season started? Matt Nix's (the director) daughter is suppose to be appearing in an episode, so we'll probably see one of Michael's charity cases involving a kid.

That Ethan kid is apparently supposed to appear in multiple episodes, so we'll probably see him again. I wouldn't be surprised if tonight episode was based of him, fucking something up from last weeks episode. And then there's Michael getting framed, he told that chick he'd have the video tapes, so she'll be asking about that, obviously Michael can't give them to her. I think Jesse could be a possibility as the person setting him up, that or it's going to end up looking like it's him later on, causing some friction.

Jesse fits the role though, he's a spy, so he obviously knows how to imitate someone like Michael, and he's got a motive...getting revenge for Michael burning him in the past. Simon could also be a possibility too, or even Dead Larry...he's supposed to be reappearing this season. It could be any number of people though. But I haven't made up my mind to whether it will be someone we've seen before, or someone new. Maybe someone from the past...someone that was there from the very beginning. I'm going to read the chapters of the comic I haven't read yet, maybe I'll find some answers.

Edit: Turns out Sugar is going to be back too, in tonight's episode. Can't get enough of Sugar...

This episode was great, I guess it's not someone we know...or will it be? You never know, could be a twist, but I'm okay with it this way as well. I actually wasn't sure whether Sam was going to make it, I didn't think he would die though, I figured it'd be all good and happy. If anybody would die, I think it'd be Jesse, and I think they should wait till the last season of the show if they're gonna knock anyone off.

I'm pumped for tonight's episode. Apparently Michael and Jesse are going to the Caribbean Islands...cool...

Why do I have the last 5 posts in this thread? What everyone's Burn Notice spirit has run dry during possibly the best season yet?

Can't tell who that is...looks like Brett Favre. My Dad didn't know either, he doesn't know many character names other then the main 5, but I heard "Dead" Larry is supposed to appear this season, I suggested it could have been him. When watching the video myself though, doesn't look like it.

And who knows, maybe this isn't even the main dude, could just be another door that Michael will have to open in order to get the answers he deserves.

What ever happened to that Ethan kid? He's scheduled to appear in multiple episodes. Either he will be bigger then we thought, or he'll be another charity case because he fucked something up with those guys from last time, and now he needs Michael to save his ass.

Any of you guys think Vaughn has a chance of ever coming back? Maybe he escapes from Prison and tries to get Michael?

And hold up a second, what happened to that old dude? The management guy. I don't think he's just going to let Michael walk away that easily. Although he supposedly did at the end of...was it season 2? But Management still had a good grip on him a season ago.

What a damn great episode, one of my favorites ever. My favorite Burn Notice episode was back in Season 2 when Michael and agent Bly get caught in a bank heist, and Michael takes them down from within. This episode reminded me strongly of that...and I loved it.

Oh god I remember that episode. Yes, that too has got to be one of my top favorite Burn Notice episodes. It's really hard to single any Burn Notice episode out though, they are all great episodes.

Tonight was interesting, and it appears that like I said, that this assassin guy we saw, is only another door that Michael has to go through in order to find who burned him.

Oh hot damn! What an episode. I cannot wait till next week...literally can't wait.

I saw Dead Larry in that promo, I think he may be the sole guy, but they may throw us off. Maybe there's someone else, maybe it's Larry. I don't think Larry is big enough though, I really can't wait...did I say that enough?

...How long until the next season starts? November? ALL THE WAY TILL NOVEMBER! DAMN. I WANT IT TOMORROW!

This episode...was...wow. Well we all thought this one was going to be based all on the whole Pearce thing, but it turns out Matt Nix had other things in mind.

Great plot going throughout, I knew Larry was going to be involved from the promo but wow.

Then we have Fi doing her usual...blowing things up...thing. Which really...turned out bad. Larry's gone...maybe? Didn't Larry "die" in an explosion off screen before the show started? I know he died somehow, wouldn't be surprised if they throw that twist at us sometime down the road.

Then...then they throw at us the main guy. When I saw that guy, I saw a nerdy little innocent guy who needed help. It was the perfect way, they didn't even show him in the promos or anything, they kept him a secret.

Huge twist...and now we're back to season 2...the people who burned Michael...making him do task...after task...after task.

Yes, Burn Notice always seem to do the best work on their season finales...but this time it was better then ever. The Burn Notice writers should really get a job with WWE...imagine the storylines.

Great fucking season, I dare say the best yet, and we're only half way through with it.

The twist at the end totally blindsided me, didn't see it coming, AT ALL. Looks like they'll be keeping agent Pearce around for the at least the beginning of the second half of the season, and the new villain looks like he's gonna be a bitch to take down.

My one prediction for the second half of this season:

The return of Simon as a full fledged ally to Weston and Co.

Well yeah, didn't Simon hate management to the core?

If he does come back though, dude isn't leaving the end of the season alive. With his character, he's bound to end up dead.

Season Finale was last night, definitely a solid episode; but I can't say I was thrilled with the way they ended it.

Last night's episode means a couple things for next season.

- Anson will be sticking around, I'm definitely glad about this as I found him to be an excellent bad guy.
- Less Fiona, more Sam & Jesse. Can't complain about more Sam, and Jesse's character has evolved to the point where he just fits right in with the rest of them so it'll be nice to see him around more, I assume. From the preview for next season they made it seem like it will be Weston trying to get Fi out of prison so I assume she'll have a more limited role.
-Anson's female friend looks like she'll be sticking around as they showed her and Anson together regrouping in his car.
-Agent Pearce looks to be sticking around in a limited role and depending on what happened with the computer that Jesse was supposed to destroy she may become a more prominent character.

I'm pissed that Simon didn't turn up this season, but I assume that's mainly because the actor that plays him is staring in some shitty FOX sitcom.

Fantastic season finale. This continues the trend of USA series' ending seasons on a foul note, or with a cliffhanger.

Still, it was shocking to see Fiona go to prison. I was wondering where they were going to take things after this with Anson being the last piece of the Agency that burned Micbael, but I like the direction of Michael trying to break Fiona out of jail. There are so many ways they could take this, and I'm excited to see it unfold. It was great to see real emotion out of Michael with regards to Fiona, one of the first times he's looked vulnerable in that fashion. Good stuff.

The teasers made it look like Pearce was going to be the one working with Anson, which I'm glad turned out to be false. It would have been contraindicative to what we've seen from her, and Im hoping we'll see a return from her. Lauren Stamalie is solid as Pearce. Since Michael passed his first test back, he'll probably be working more with the CIA going forward, with Sam and Jesse in tow.

As for Anson, he's been my personal favorite villain on the show thusfar, but what more is there to do with him? The leverage he has over Michael is gone, so the only possibilities I can see for him is to use the money he got from Michael to come after him, only for Michael to turn the tables on him, possibly forcing him to convince, releasing Fiona in a legal way?

Either way, this was a great season. The clients weren't my favorite, but Max's murder, Larry returning once more, and Anson as the central villain really made this season for me. Can't wait for next summer.
