The second one was horrible I just wanted to watch so I can say I watched them all. Pinhead could take Myers.

I remember people talking about the Halloween series and When they said Michael Myers I thought they were talking about the actor. Then I watched them and realized I was wrong.

Going to bed here within tyhe hour so I can't watch it now. It's On Demand though so I can watch it whenever.

Another Horror movie I plan on watching is Hellraiser III. I saw the first 2 and was wondering if the third was one as good, better or worse than them?

Hellraiser fanatics will tell you that it's the worst of the first three (I know there have been more sequels, but they're all direct-to-video rubbish). I thought it was the best of the three, and definitely the most creative in terms of gore.

There's really just no debate man, Michael Myers is the definitive slasher. Without Halloween, the slasher genre doesn't exist.

I'll have to check out what's on FEARnet...I haven't looked in a while, seeing as how they usually just rotate films and erratically update their selection. But, they have a few gems there every once in a while.

Dude, please Milenko. Pinhead isn't even close to being the best slasher, mainly because I wouldn't even consider him a slasher to begin with. He's a demon, similiar to say Angela from Night of the Demons (I'm willing to bet tdigle has seen this and loves it like I do).

The Halloween films put the Hellraiser franchise to absolute shame man.

And last time I checked Fearnet tdigle it had some good stuff on there like Frontiers, Dance of the Dead, and best of all the motherfucking ENTIRE Toxic Avenger franchise! Toxie rules! If you have Time Warner cable though beware that Fearnet will soon be being dropped by them.

Haven't seen In the Valley of Elah...

but

Moon was sweet. I loved how I was the youngest person in the theater(by far), but I was the only one that wasn't fucking munching on popcorn.

I could hear their oldness.

Nice, and double nice. How did you like Moon? Man I thought it was absolutely brilliant.

Slither is good fun, not a horror classic or anything, but it's gorey and funny and alot of fun to watch. Michael Rooker is hilarious in it.

Yeah, Night of the Demons was a good movie. I already own a lot of Troma stuff on DVD, so I can watch the Toxic Avenger series anytime I want. But, thank for letting me know what's what.

Night of the Demons is classic 80's B horror movie gold at it's best. Scream Queen Linnea Quigley inserting lipstick through her boob? Check. Weird Goth chick in oversized dress doing freaky strip teaste to Bauhaus' "Stigmata Martyr"? Check. Old man's throat being shred to pieces from eating an apple pie with razorblades in it? Check. Pretty much everything you need out of a horror film right there. Classic movie, and a really fun one to watch drunk. Stay away from the sequel though, just awful.

You're a Troma fan too tdigle? Yet another awesome thing about you. I f'n love Troma, must own a good dozen of their classics from the Toxie franchise to Class of Nuke 'Em High (which was actually on G4 earlier today for some reason) to Sgt. Kabukiman, NYPD and of course the Oscar-worthy Redneck Zombies and Rabid Grannies.

This should probably get its own thread, but you know what? Fuck anyone who doesn't check the Bullshit about Movies sticky. They don't deserve to see this.

But yeah... will see, first day.

At first I thought to myself "Megan Fox in a horror film...AKA another Hollywood PG-13 piece of shit". Than, upon further inspection of the film...I realized it's written by Diablo Cody, the writer of Juno. That right there is enough to make me want to see this flick, but the fact that it's being called a black comedy/horror film like Heathers, which is one of my all time favorite movies, has me quite excited over this. And WOW it has Amy Sedaris?! Awesome! And I totally second the notion of fuck anyone who doesn't visit this thread, hands down the best thread on WZ.

Plus, correct me if I'm wrong, isn't Fox supposed to be nude in the film?

After seeing that trailer though I'm really looking forward to this. Seductive and sexy Megan Fox eating people while the Runaways "Cherry Bomb" plays in the backround? Sign me the fuck up.

Heathers is fucking AWESOME! I would've never guess you liked that film.

The ending. Huge cop-out. The majority of the movie is this wonderful Sci-Fi tale and then all of a sudden BOOM! slasher movie time out of nowhere.

That said, I actually didn't think the ending was that bad. I didn't think it totally killed the movie or anything, I really enjoyed seeing it and was glad I saw it in theaters during it's short run.

The part I found stupid was that the guy was toasted to a crisp, and lived. I understand he had food and oxygen and water, but that was a bit out there. The slasher bit took a little to get used to, but it worked in the scope of things.

I'm thinking about watching a horror movie called Dr. Giggles. anyone know if it's worth my time?

I love that movie. Like X said...It's a good comedy-horror flick.

"Did you bring any protection? I bought mine!" *pulls out huge ass butcher knife*

I don't think they should have included it...

BUT

I didn't think it was stupid. I don't think the guy was in the room when they rest of the crew got toasted. That probably happened to him over time. They even hinted to it with the psychologist and the captain.

Whether he was in the room or not, he survived 6+ years as a marshmallow. It was a little out there, but so is flying a spaceship the size of Manhattan to the sun to re-ignite it. I still have the movie in my top 10 all-time, I just think it was a bit much.

Everything else was done perfectly. Even the way they introduced him. When the ship said "There are 5 people aboard", I was like :wtf: It shocked me, and had me wondering what the hell was going on. Then it all came together pretty well.

You should've included the sarcastic tags because I have no idea if you're being serious.

Of fucking COURSE I love Heathers, how can anyone with a working brain not love it?! Dude I wanted to be exactly like Christian Slater in that movie when I was in middle school (creepy thought actually seeing how he's a murderer) I thought he was the coolest thing since sliced bread. One of my all time favorite performances in a movie ever, the ending especially is pitch perfect, the way Winona Ryder's cigarette gets lit from the explosion as Sly and the Family Stone's "Que Sera, Sera" starts playing is pretty much the definition of perfection.

And by that trailer, it looks like she will be. Let's hope so!

This movie looks great, and if it had naked Megan Fox...well that would just make it an instant buy the moment it came out on DVD, lol.

She's "naked" but covered with pasties. I think 48/7 posted the pics elsewhere.

Now that I think about it, I doubt she will be. They would have definately reported that on JoBlo.com.
