Gotta say though, I'm not a very big Kirsten Dunst fan.

Same here, which is why I never went out of my way to check it out. But I did enjoy that trailer. If I see the film on TV I'll definitely give it a try.

And you're really going to enjoy Human Nature. It's seems right up your alley. I need to watch The Science of Sleep.

And I just visited The Virgin Suicides' imdb, and I cannot fucking believe the youngest one in the movie was also Mike Myers big sister in the Halloween remake. I mean, this girl was so cute and adorable in both The Virgin Suicides and Forrest Gump, and I was just shocked to see she played that hateful **** in Halloween. She has some range to her. Hopefully she gets some more roles in the future.

I could give you a laundry list of great quarky comedies to view if necessary.

You guys seem to have great taste in films If your interested in my list feel free to say so, and if I'm suggesting something you've seen feel free to tell me what you thought of it.

Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind is awesome, I really liked Be Kind Please Rewind, and I've been meaning to put the time investment in Science of Sleep.

I'm saving Blue Velvet for last.

I liked Sin City. Perfume is looking good so far. I also love the guy that does the narration.

I really hope I didn't overhype Blue Velvet for you. Just forget everything I said and go into it with an open mind.

Currently watching the Breakfast Club. Haven't seen it in a few years, forgot how much of a sucker I am for it. John Hughes is the man.

I've been saving it for last so I can forget about the large amounts of praise that some poster gave it.

As I said, I like Perfume so far.

After watching the Breakfast Club, I must say that I never really realized but...Anthony Michael Hall's character got freakin' screwed in that movie. Everybody else gets to go and make out with eachother while he's stuck to write everyone's essay for them. Those *****.

Haha... what a great point. He's the one who should've ended up with Ringwald. As awesome as The Breakfast Club was... the biggest flaw was Ringwald/Nelson hooking up at the end, because it came out of nowhere and made no sense whatsoever. I mean, really... it didn't.

Anyway, just watched A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon for the first time and it was fun. River Phoenix was awesome, as expected.

I have Into the Wild on right now, my personal favorite movie from 2007. Emile Hirsch got robbed out of an Oscar nod if you ask me.

I couldn't sympathize with that character at all. Only when he was dying in great pain did I begin to feel sorry for him.

Just got done rewatching Burn After Reading. I still think it's the funniest movie I saw in 2008, and I still feel like the only person I know who enjoyed it...

Still haven't gotten around to seeing that Coco, it's high on my list of To-See movies.

I'm about to start watching Pi. Such a great film, haven't seen it in awhile.

I love Stanley Kubrick, but I have to say guys... 2001 is the most boring movie I've ever watched. I saw it a few years ago for the first time, and I thought that now that I'm older... I'd be able to enjoy it this time around. But I wasn't able to. I deeply appreciate the accomplishments Kubrick made with that film as far as visuals are concerned, but fuck... it's so damn boring.

I also watched Secretary today, and it was ******ed. Every time I would trash Maggie Gyllenhaal somewhere, people would say you need to see Secretary. Well, I saw it, and it sucked. Her performance was alright, but it would've been much better with someone else, and the movie overall was just fucking stupid, in my opinion.

A) 2001 is indeed painfully boring for about 3/4ths of the entire film. Must've been all the acidheads going to see it that made it so popular :D

B) Secretary is pretty shitty. Maggie's not bad though and I think she's pretty hot, and I fucking love me some James Spader. Not exactly a great movie though. Reminded me of the film Crash (also with James Spader), ever seen it? Not the one that won the Oscars a few years ago, it's a David Cronenberg flick about people who get their sexual kicks from car crashes. Except Crash was actually pretty redeemable, Secretary wasn't.

Watched Point Break today, that movie is such a guilty pleasure. It's total and utter trash but I still absoluteley adore it. Great summer flick.

I've got Righteous Kill on the trusty old DVR, but I don't have very high hopes for it. The critics ripped it to shreds. The only reason I'm going to watch it is because of De Niro and Pacino together using weapons to hurt people. That's pretty much all the inspiration I need to watch a movie.
