Bringing down the machine from inside..

So we all know the catchphrase Bray Wyatt used whenever he was trying to get into the head of Daniel Bryan, But what if Kane is actually working for the Wyatt family and not the authority???

We know that the Wyatt's kidnapped Kane a couple of months ago but a couple of weeks later he just returns as if nothing has happened then joins up with the authority out of nowhere.

But could Kane actually be working for the Wyatt family and will eventually bring down the machine from the inside or are the creative team not that creative to think of something long term??

To point out that Kane doesn't represent most people's idea of a "corporate" type is an understatement. That he was suddenly thrust into this role indicates one of three possibilities: that he has retired from active ring participation but still wanted to work for WWE..... that this corporate phase is nothing more than an injury time-out, perhaps geared to let his body recover from the aches and pains inflicted over a long period of time......or a program designed to make us think he's abandoned his old "monster" ways and is now a suit.....leading eventually to a return to the ring, possibly at the forefront of the Wyatt family.

Anything can happen in that last possibility. Maybe when the Wyatts are through with Daniel Bryan, it's Kane's turn to link up with them. Could it be he'll eventually lead the Wyatts against the Authority?

Hard to say, but whichever of the above possibilities applies, I'm still surprised he hasn't choke-slammed anyone backstage in his new incarnation....strictly for corporate discipline purposes, of course.

This is the obvious and most likely outcome... that Kane is actually part of the Wyatts.

But the important thing to remember is why WWE have gone this route first and foremost. For several years they have rotated Kane, Big Show, Mark Henry out of the roster at various points for a number of months. This is to prolong their careers and rather than the Jericho model where the deal ends and then he signs a new one, they just accept that these are guys they want to keep and give them suitable "time off" in order to make sure they stay healthy.

This is different for Kane in that he is being an onscreen character, but he's still only really showing up for TV and PPV. It's interesting because Glen Jacobs is known backstage and by wrestling fans as perhaps the most intelligent guy they have, someone who is politically astute and has even been talked of as running for office once his career is over.

Storyline wise, if the monster Kane is going to return, it'll be for the Wyatts but perhaps this is Glen Jacobs starting to "distance himself" from his dark character in preparation for his future and get people used to him being "himself" to an extent.

Maybe this is a dry run for a backstage role, perhaps even Triple H's talent relations role or similar once Trips takes over completely, Jacobs is respected enough and astute enough to be able to handle such a role and is clearly someone Trips would trust after being in the company practically since day one together, nearly 20 years for both. 20 Years of HHH, THAT is scary!

So storyline wise, it could be about bringing down the machine, but it's very likely Glen Jacobs will play a big part in it going forward... even if Kane doesn't...

their is no machine or any thing in wyatt family. He recently spoke about sister abigal as a character. Creative team doesnt have any idea of wyatt family. They make them as a creepy character and wrestled with random wrestlers.

If kane works for wyatt family, then whats their plan. They wont wrestled for title belt. They are not greater than the shield. Their win loss record is not good.

Creative team burried daniel bryan by involving with wyatt family. Is bryan concussion is serious. Then they fight with some mid carders. Put them with cena is absolute failure.

Im not trying to be funny mate but i have not got a clue what this sentence means. The Wyatts are not saying the machine is in the family, the machine is the whole of the WWE.

They just like to cause mayhem in other words. For the near future i can't see them going in with the mid card because they are one of HHH's pet projects so that aint gonna happen.

Back on point great points made by Mustang and THTrobtaylor as always, i would liketo think that the creative team did have an end product for the Kane/Wyatt storyline and not just a rushed decision to write him off tv while he was filming.

We know that the WWE are known for stating things and never ending them just to hope we forget if they never mention it again.

This is the only way that Kane's initial involvement in the Wyatt family can make sense. It's either he's a mole in The Authority, or creative botched the storyline and decided to just scrap it straight away.

Everyone spoke about the Kane kidnapping and how it was never returned to, same with Daniel Bryan's. Bryan's would have made more sense if they kept him offscreen for a week and then did the whole joining the Wyatt's, even it did lead to his face turn again this week.

Kane's is a lot more interesting - creative may well have come up with a great subplot to the two main storylines in WWE right now, tying them together. However, this being WWE creative, and this all happening in WWE's Autumn "Off season", I just think they scrapped a Kane angle so he could go off and promote his movie. I think if and when Kane returns to the monster, it'll be because of Brad Maddox...

I have been saying this for a long time, since Corporate Kane debuted in fact, but I was hoping the reveal would be last Monday, as Kane was the man with the keys. I'm still hopeful, but if he didn't help his leader inside the cage then when?

I've written about it on here before, but Kane could have been used to link The Wyatt's (w/Bryan) to Taker and lead up to Taker vs Bryan. I don't know where it's headed, and though I like what they did with Bryan and the pop he got, I think it severely limits their current creative options so meh.

Well to answer the last question, I don't think it's that WWE isn't creative enough to think of ideas like this one but they obviously like to play it safe these days with booking & they have shown quite vividly in the past that they are willing to completely discard a certain storyline or aspect of a storyline if it doesn't fit into VKM's grand vision. Bragging Rights 2010 comes to mind. Undertaker & Kane were involved in probably their most heated feud since their programs at Mania & they had the last Buried Alive match to date. Well Kane won in a pretty controversial fashion with The Nexus coming out, attacking Taker & burying him alive for Kane. Not only was this never even mentioned again to my knowledge but when Taker finally returned, he returned moments after the returning Triple H & started a feud with HHH for Mania. No mention of the beef him & Kane had before he left, Taker didn't seek vengeance against The Nexus, nothing. WWE just completely dropped all that history they created because they wanted HHH vs. Taker at Mania.

So I think it's pretty much the same situation here. I think people keep wanting to link Kane to The Wyatt's because of their "unfinished business" but in the WWE's eyes I think that storyline is dead & gone.

I think Kane became coporate Kane or RepubliKane as some people have dubbed him either simply because he is more or less done as an in-ring performer & the WWE wanted to keep him around as an on-screen character or because Kane is getting ready for his very last run with the company & wanted to heel up a little/get a bigger pop when he finally returns as the Kane we all know & love. Either way I think this is the begining of the end for the Kane character. Hopefully WWE keeps Glenn Jacobs around behind the scenes as a trainer, agent, etc.

It's a good theory, but I agree with that last part - WWE's current creative team is NOT very creative (courtesy of Stephanie McMahon). They have no idea how to book long-term storylines, and they have no clue on how to even book half the locker room in a short-term ones.

I think after 20 years in the ring, Kane is getting ready to call it day. 2010 through 2013 was his swan song. He won MITB and the WHC title. He finally defeated Undertaker in a feud, then teamed up with his old partner Big Show. He brought back the mask, beat Orton at Mania, took Cena to the limit, got really big with Team Hell No and had a lengthy reign with Daniel Bryan, and filmed See No Evil 2. He'll probably stay in his GM/authority role until his contract expires, and then retire.

To be honest after his adventures onto radio today, I think Kane is probably safest in the WWE office, not as a politician. He hung up on some DJ's for mentioning Issac Yankem at the start of the interview... not really living up to his "intelligent guy" rep and making himself look a dick, pure and simple.

Perhaps he went in Kayfabe but ultimately if he's part of the show and adjusting his character that's not the smartest thing to be getting involved in.
