"Bring It Back"

**The.Best.In.The.World**
WWE.com has an article that they put every once in a while called "Bring it Back" My question is what is something ANYTHING that you want to see back in the WWE. Please try not to be so obvious and broad and go with the Attitude Era or PG-13.

Mine would have to be the Undisputed Title design as the WWE Title.

Mostly everyone is in agree that the current WWE title design needs to go and ive always liked this design. It looks more prestigious and can be brought back as the WWE championship. I would actually put this title on SD and put the WHC back on RAW and make it the most prestigous title in WWE again as it looks more prestigous.

So what about you guys? What is one thing you want to see make a return in WWE?

That title is atrocious. Really it is. I was never a fan of it back in the Attitude Era, and i certainly hope it doesnt replace the current WWE Title.

I agree the current one blows but i feel like the only reason you suggested this was because it reminds you of the attitude era and "the attitude era was the best" so that means this title which really looks like trash is cool. People need to stop living in the past and realize that the attitude era is 10 years removed and we are in a different time. I was a big fan of the attitude era but not anymore.

anyone who thinks that belt reminds them of the attitude era started watching wrestling right after the attitude era ended. The winged eagle belt was the main attitude era belt then switched to the eagle with the big circle middle plate that Austin was given. That Undisputed championship was held by Brock Lesnar at one point, not attitude era thank you.

Before I start I just want to say, that the Undisputed title came out post-Attitude Era. I'm pretty sure of it.

Anywho, I'd bring back gimmicks. Everybody is the same, with generic names. There's no more weird characters that entertain. That's why when Brodus came back with the funkasaurus thing I was totally on board. It's fun, it's different, and brings excitement! I don't wanna sit around watching the same boring names with lame entrances. When I think about gimmicks, I think of The Boogeyman, The Godfather, The Big Bossman, IRS, Gangrel,The Undertaker etc. There's no more fun, out of the ordinary, goofy, characters. I beleive they should just repackage a few current wrestlers, and it could work!

The worthless divas title now is to big, to shiny, and to damn stupid. It is meaning less. At least the Women's Title had some prestige.

Umm.. nice try, but this was not in the attitude era. This was the belt in the so called "ruthless agression era" It unified the WHC and wwe title. It was the undisputed title and was only around for a little while until Cena made the stupid belt we have now.

This would be the belt from the Attitude Era. The WWF championship.

One thing I personally would like for them to bring it back is quite simply blading or well blood in matches. This really has absolutely nothing to do with the attitude era because wrestling matches have had such things done for well a long long time. I personally just think watching certain matches it makes all the more sense. I don't think wrestlers should start just busting their heads open for just the sake of it but maybe in a really brutal cage match or when the elimination chamber. A great example would be the upcoming Undertaker/HHH match being Hell in the Cell. I feel that this particular match compared to the PPV merits that something extra aside from the fact that it's two legends and HBK making a showing. For me seeing the wrestlers bleed was just something that relayed the brutal nature that some types of matches have quickly lost.

Firstly I'm not so sure if this counts but serious competeition, WWE nowadays is lazy, the constant unfulfilled storylines, and lackadaisical fueds leading to often disappointing PPV's testify to this. It needs a rival wrestling promotion to push it in the same manner as WCW to shake it up and get it out of its comfort zone.

In terms of something actually from the WWE i too would say gimmicks. I agree that some gimmicks were bad and just wouldn't fit with the current product in the so-called reality era but used effectively they can work and can give superstars at every level in the card a unique identity. As of right now we have so many superstars who are so similar divided by only fine details and disparities in talent having more characters like the Funkasaurus, Godfather, Gangrel, Mankind and of course the Rock could only make the program more interesting.

I would definetly like to see the return of The King of the Ring PPV. This PPV was great and helped establish a break out star almost every year. I would have it the month before Summer Slam and have the winner of the KOTR tournament face the WWEc. or the WHC. as a reward for winning. Sort of like the way the winner of the Royal Rumble gets to face the WWEc. or the WHC. at Mania. I think this could work great and help make the main event of Summer Slam, and the PPV, itself, a big deal again.

I would actually put this title on SD and put the WHC back on RAW and make it the most prestigous title in WWE again as it looks more prestigous.
Won't happen. WWE has become a lot more about branding - notice "World Wrestling Entertainment" is now just "WWE". The WWE Championship is their baby, and while they have made the World title the focus in the past I think those days are behind us. You have to realize when the World title WAS a focus it was being held by guys like Triple H, who brought prestige just by being NEAR the belt. At the same time guys like Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker were fighting over the WWE title, so it really wasn't a matter of more or less prestige, but rather Raw or Smackdown being the "A show". I agree with you, but realize it just won't happen...

I would bring back Prime Time Wrestling or at least it's round table discussion format. For those unaware, Prime Time Wrestling was a 2 hour program that ran on USA that had a round table of WWF personalities talking WWF (earlier versions had just 2 people but I always preferred the later ones). They would recap the shows at the time, show major house show matches, have extra promos, etc.

I know WWF on Demand has a similar one with legends talking about old matches but I would love to see this with current stars as well. I always thought this would have been a much better use of the NXT or Superstars time slot.

I would bring back managers on a larger scale. They could really help some of the guys with lesser mic skills get over. The brain and jimmy hart are as well remembered as the wrestlers they managed in some cases. Managers are great for creating heat for their guys. Look a Vickie, Dolph would not be where he is now without her. He would have eventually got there, but she gave him that little extra.

I'd bring back the Hardcore title under 24/7 rules. It was always stupid fun, watching Crash Holly fight at airports, hotel rooms, amusement parks, kids playgrounds, etc. Plus a hardcore title match would usually degenerate into a free-for-all brawl. It gives the chance for guys who don't have anything going for them to fight for something. Hell, even a top star could fight for it because it isn't considered a step down because the title isn't on any title hierarchy, like when Undertaker won it from Rob Van Dam. For young guys,it's a way of getting over or to have something to do. For more experienced stars,it's a way of reasserting the claim that they're still "hardcore" or bad-ass. Plus, like I said, hardcore matches are always stupid fun. Guys hitting each other over the back with chairs and trash cans and canes. They can have it in the middle of Raw between the important feuds so audiences don't feel overwhelmed.

War Games. If they want to put their own spin on it, put it in the Elimination Chamber 3 on 3. Such a great match idea it's mind boggeling that they don't use it.

That is a great idea, I am very surprised that WWE haven't ever made use of the War Games format. They own everything related to WCW, and War Games was always so popular, I would have expected WWE to bring it back. It's probably just Vince being Vince and refusing to use something that he didn't have a part in the creation of. Stubbern.

As you mentioned, incorporating it into a Elimination Chamber match, or even a Hell In A Cell would definitely work, and add something different to a match that is beginning to lose its aura and becoming stale, with the banning of blood and the more extreme violence that used to be a staple of those kind of matches, and the fact that they have their own PPV rather than being a "surprise" match.

Bring back War Games!

The King of the Ring would be awesome, guys wrestling two or three times (only Ziggler can handle that right now and Im so sick of him being so sick) and it made stars.

I think I would also like to see better tag teams! They started something with Air Boom, but thanks to Evan's miscues, that went out the window. Make some teams, find new ways to have them fight...tag team ladder matches would be a welcome return. Tag Team wrestling could be cool again.

There are a lot of good ideas on here.

I would love to see the Women's Championship brought back. I think the "Divas Title" is a joke and kind of lame to be honest. It is pretty demeaning to the women in my opinion.

I also would love to see the design of the WWE Championship go back to something similar to either the Winged Eagle or the Undisputed Championship. They both had a classic look and the current design has definitely run its course (though I did really like when The Miz turned it upside down for some reason).

In the end though ... TAG TEAM wrestling is something I would like to see again. Tag teams can be very entertaining when done right (see E&C, NAO, LoD, Demolition, The Hardyz ... hell even throw togethers like Kane&XPac). I think they clearly have stopped caring about it and the current belt design is a complete joke.
