So what do we assume happens if Cena doesn't make the PPV? Punk vs Orton? In the Cell? Normally I'd be thrilled to see Raw left for Punk to rule. But I really wanted my favourite main event feud ever to find it's way into Satan's Playground.

PG HIAC is stupid. Remember how after the first 5 minutes, the cell was basically a non factor in the HHH/Taker match?

You should kill yourself in the mostly bloody fashion possible. Show them all how TV-14 you are.

I'm not one of those Attitude Era elitists who craves blood and swearing and treating women like garbage, I just think that the Hell in a Cell concept is a relic of that era and doesn't fit in with today's product.

Or Punk vs. Sheamus in that Champion vs. Champion match that AJ booked a few weeks ago?

Punk vs Sheamus for the first time ever is the sort of thing that should be saved for Mania, and certainly isn't the sort of thing I'd throw straight into the Cell. Of course knowing this company, it's not off the table.

If Cena can't make it, they might not really have a choice. I'd certainly take that over Sheamus/ADR again.

Fuck it, give Punk HHH in the cell for some redemption from last year. It kills the "illegitimate title reign" story but it may actually draw and give Cena enough time to gety healthy.

The IWC would be torn between Punk getting such a huge spot and HHH throwing his backstage power around. Book it assholes.

So in the last month, Punk has a mini feud with Lawler, & he ends up having a heart attack taking him out of action for several weeks, then he feuds with Cena, & Cena ends up needing surgery on his elbow, taking him out of action for a few weeks... hmm... if there is a God, then clearly he is a Punk fan.

Why were people talking about a new opponent in the Cell for Punk? The PPV is in five weeks and six days, meaning that if Cena is out the max amount of time, he would have to come back one day early. The odds are he would be able to go and I can't imagine Cena would keep himself out of the main event of a PPV because of a single day. Unless a doctor flat out said no, and I can't imagine WWE wouldn't look for a second opinion that said he could go, the PPV wouldn't be in danger.

Not to mention, it's only a shoulder, it's not like it's going to keep him off Raw, just out of the ring. This feud all along has been built up more off their promo work then beatdowns like the Sheamus/Berty feud. Also Cena has a history off quick recoveries from injuries, so I'm sure their is little doubt within WWE that he'll make it back in time for the match.

Wait, people want to see Sheamus-Punk? And it is a big stage showdown? Oh my.
I want to see it. And if Sheamus is supposed to be everything he's been built to be, then it's a huge showdown.

Leave my taste alone. We both know it's above scrutiny.
