BREAKING NEWS: Eric Bischoff Backstage at Raw Now!

Former RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff has been seen wandering around Ford Arena • the site of tonight’s RAW.

What is so surprising about Bischoff’s presence is that he hasn’t been involved with WWE since he was fired last December by Mr. McMahon. So why is Bischoff showing up now? Perhaps, it’s because the WWE Chairman and Shane McMahon are out of commission from the beating they suffered at Unforgiven; with no GM on RAW to take control while the McMahons recover, there’s an opening for someone to take over. Is Bischoff trying to move back into WWE while the McMahons are recovering? If so, how does Jonathan Coachman feel about this?

Hopefully this question will be answered on RAW tonight at 9/8 CT on the USA Network.

So they are going to fire Bishoff, to have Vince all over the show for the best part of a year, and then put him back where he should have been all along... makes complete sense to me.

But i agree, as much as i hate Eric Bischoff (cuz hes such a great heel), i love him for his creative genius, n he should have never left raw. Because last year, raw had some pretty good storylines if i do recall. Such as Cena vs. Jericho that was a decent feud, i wish it woulda lasted longer

I could totally see this happening Eric Bicshoff is gold for RAW in my opinion, I dont know why they even fucked around and pulled him off TV.
He is one of the best heels on RAW and hes not even a wrestler.

I also wouldnt mind seeing a scenerio that another post brought to rumour.
JBL being announced as GM would put a smile on my face or maybe a combination of Bischoff and JBL.
It would set up an awesome fued between Triple H and JBL when HBK goes out for the leg surgery.
JBL has always needed a ring general like Triple H or Undertaker to bring the best out of him.
Because I doubt the DX vs. nWo thing will happen, but it would be awesome if it did, talk about a dream!

So anyways I'm thinkin Bischoff and JBL = Gold

The reason they pulled Eric off RAW in the first place was so Vince could start his feud with HBK. But I suppose if this feud had not have happened we would not have had the DX return.

I'm glad Eric is coming back, he is a great on screen character, the best for playing that heel authority figure, well other than Vince of course.

i dont think he would go to TNA anyway because they just brought in Vince Russo, i dont think it would make much sense to bring in Russo and Bischoff. Im not sure, but i dont think those two get along real well anyway

its stupid they leaked this so early. they should have left it as a shocker that he was back. now as far as anything big going on with him well have to wait and see. who knows if he will even have a part on raw.

Well we havent even seen bischoff since he got fired, so im guessin him bein there isnt a coincidence. Im gonna say he'll more than likely have something to do with the show tonight

Although i'm delighted WWE are bringing Eric back, I garentee it wont have the same shock factor it sent round the wrestling world like it did 4 years ago when he first showed up on Raw.

I wonder what non-sensicle storyline they will throw together to explain his return? Just like they do with JR everytime he gets fired and then re-hired.
