The audition round is simply to determine that you have what it takes to compete in this competition. It's not testing your match writing skills (although a later round may do that). Just a paragraph that tells us how the match came about and a brief outline of how the match goes at WrestleMania.

WRESTLEMANIA IX - WWF CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
Bret "The Hitman" Hart (c) vs. Yokozuna (w/Mr. Fuji)
After joining the WWF back in the late 1992, the Japanese sumo wrestler appears to be on a complete tear as he utterly dominates the WWF. Many undercard wrestlers try - and fail miserably - to beat Yokozuna, in fact, nobody can even get him off his feet. However, he does use the odd dastardly trick - manager Mr. Fuji speaks for him and tells the various cities around the USA that they should be respecting and fearing the mighty Yokozuna. At the Rumble in early 1993, Yokozuna completely dominates the latter stages of the main event and there isn't a superstar comes close to eliminating him, not even the great Macho Man Randy Savage. Meanwhile, with Yokozuna heading to WM9 as a dominant heel, the WWF Champion Bret Hart continues to fight against the odds as he defends his prized possession. After beating Ric Flair in the fall of 1992, Hart has defended the title with pride and honour and is managing to overcome the challenges of larger, more powerful opponents as well as those with dirty tricks too. However, his victory via C/O over Razor Ramon at the Rumble does little to make people believe that he can be the one to defeat Yokozuna at the big event. Weeks before WrestleMania, Yokozuna drops Hart with not one but two Banzai Drops to weaken his ribs. And then, on the morning of WrestleMania 9, Hart is attacked at a 'brunch' and knocked out cold by Lex Luger. It's a classic underdog vs. unbeatable opponent - but the underdog is the champion for a twist. At WrestleMania, Hart tries valiantly and becomes the first man to knock Yokozuna down. He even manages to lock in the Sharpshooter against all odds and there is a flicker of hope for the thousands of fans cheering him on. Enter Fuji, he throws salt in the eyes of the gutsy champion and Yokozuna sneaks out the win to become the new WWF Champion.
Do this kind of thing for each match, maybe with less detail for the undercard matches, and then you have a WrestleMania 29.
Personally, I will be looking for somebody who gives me something fresh and entertaining. CM Punk vs. Cena I've seen too often - either don't use it OR give it a new twist, something to interest me. I'm also looking for realism - I don't want to see eight TNA wrestlers dropping by for WrestleMania - so I'm thinking that legends need restricting to people like Rock, HHH, Undertaker, HBK and Brock Lesnar. Anybody else would need a damn good reason to make it realistic enough to me.
