-Best Book This Project

-Best PPV Match

-Best normal television match

-Best Superstar

-Best Tag Team

-Best Diva

-Best Storyline

-Best Feud

Just to name a few awards that could be done.

Ye I like that Proph! I think maybe some of the senior users could pick the awards or something or do we have a vote (everyone wouild just vote for themselves!) Maybe also have; Best Newbie, People's Choice and Best Brand/Show (RAW/SD!).

I would think we would set up one thread and you would post your votes in it. Of course you can't vote for yourself.

But why would you, the awards would be about earning it by impressing fellow BT writers. So if we had these awards you can't vote for your own brand or show.

Best Promo Writer
Best Match Writer
Best Used Character
Best Newbie
Best Reviewer
Best Lounge Poster

And that would be enough, imo. I would add best PPV but I don't think anyone has posted one. If there is enough interest I will make the thread at the end of the month and we'll put the nominations there, and then you guys would PM me your selections when the nomination process was up.

On every Youtube page URL you should see something that looks like this:

Copy the bit in bold and wrap it with [MEDIA=youtube] tags.

I have a question about what we can use in our BT's. Over in the WWE section, someone asked a question about whether the Miz would be able to use his MITB shot on someone on the Smackdown side of things. If I use that idea, but with my own spin on things, would I be able to incorporate that into my booking, or would that count as plagiarism?

The best thing about BT is that there are no rules to what you can and can't do in your BT universe.

I mean, look at mine. I have Goldust as top face. Goldust.

That's what I figured, but I know in the BT Rules, it said if you were caught stealing from other boards, then your thread would be deleted and you'd be banned from the BT boards. I just wasn't sure as to whether that meant blatantly copying, adapting ideas.

And yeah, I was a little surprised to see 'Dust as the top face on SCW. Interesting idea, though.

I haven't even made it through the first show of SCW, yet. Made me want to start booking my show again, so I went back to it. Currently working on writing the full writeup for Summerslam.

An award ceremony, huh? Sounds like something interesting for the area. I like the idea of writer awards, but what about kayfabe ones such as Prophet said? Why not do both?

Yeah it would be cool if we had an awards like Best Superstar where we would pick 5 or so superstars, name which show they are on, and what they have done. How many titles they have won, big match wins and stuff like that.

Maybe each poster could nominate their favourite superstar (from their own show) and others vote on it. Maybe include some promos/matches that we liked so people could view them. Just an idea!

So I think that if we have these awards at the end of the month we are having the awards I put forward.

-So we would have Papa's awards which focus on the person writing the BT and such.

-Then my awards which would focus on the BT and the wrestlers and match's. So this would involve more kayfabe views type voting.

For best superstar I would have the people picked by having an open nominations for 3 days where people would put forward the case for a superstar. Telling what they had done and such, if a superstar is picked twice then he is in straight away. After the 3 days are over, I would pick out of those superstars a top five and they would go up for Best Superstar.

EDIT : Me picking the five that go up for Best Superstar was just an idea, it could be done different. Also if these type of awards are done, which I'm sure they will all votes would be sent to me. As Papa already has the other awards votes going to him.

If we're gonna do an awards we mise well do them all in one thread. And I don't know how great of a turnout we're gonna get, so we might wanna hold back on some of the awards. And I don't think you need a best 'singles, tag-team, and diva' award, b/c then it gets too cluttered. Best Superstar that I had is essentially the same award, only it's more broad. But I don't think we need two separate people hosting awards b/c then people might get confused on what they're sending to who.

Love the idea of the awards, but as Papa Grande likes to say: KISS. This place doesn't get a ton of traffic, let alone people who read each and every show, so I think a max of maybe...I dunno, five or six awards would be best. Grande's suggestions for awards are just about perfect.
