Not really book it, I'll just play a manager mode and every week/couple of weeks in game time I'll do a post detailing signings, match reviews, injuries all that kind of stuff.

Hey Peep. I'm willing to make you some graphics as long as they have renders in PSD-Dreams of them. Plus, I've seen a lot of really nice football sigs. Even if I don't know much about it, just shoot me a PM :D

And hey, since Peep is booking a football season, or well, trying to. How's about an NBA season? I just read that Seattle is trying to get a team down there and it could very well be the Sacramento Kings if they don't sign a deal soon so yeah. Any NBA fans? Thoughts?

I've checked PSD, they have plenty of renders. But there is a great render site just for football, if I get it going I will shoot it to you mate. I might have to shoot a mod a PM asking them about this idea, might not even be allowed.

Edit: Jam, ever thought about doing the BT Magazine again?

I see. So just shoot me a PM if ever you get it going. And hmm, not right now for the magazine Peep. I really think we need LSN as a mod here, he's awesome and would be a great contributer to reading shows. I think that booking a sport will be acceptable, just not anything that deals with booking your own TV script or something. So hopefully this will be allowed.
 
The thing is, I'm not exactly booking it myself. I will play the mode and just kind of write down all the fun, important stuff.
 
It's a computer game where you book for a wrestling company such as WWE, TNA, WCW, ECW and anything else you want. The main thing that people like about it is that it makes the booking real. You can have ratings for each segment, the entire show, the match and the interviews. The game tells you how good the show was and at the end of the month you get a report about your company and the others also so you can compare how you are doing.

It's something that can be really great to work with if you are able to use it correctly. It will write out the interview in a basic form (really basic) and the match in a basic form. It gives you guidelines to follow more than anything else. It also makes you pay for the guys working for you, work out deals with tv stations, try to keep spot on tv and anything else you can think of. This would be a bookers dream if you can get into it. At times a worker could be angry with the company and may leave the company causing huge problems much like in real life.

If you haven't played it before I would suggest giving it a look over to see if you would like to use it for your thread.

EDIT: Things like gaining a tv deal and losing it three shows later can happen if you're not pulling up to the required level in the game.

So I think I will get my football thread up and going in the next few days. I am leaning towards Spurs, Manchester City or Chelsea. Stay tuned to find out.
 
The IHW Draft has finished. We will be posting more updates to come.
The shows will be up and going as soon as a get a few things in order (PPV's, Schedules, etc.)
 
@True_Campeon, I recieved your predictions, but I didn't get who you pick to win in the matches, as you haven't highlighted the choices. So, do that please. And thanks. Others, please predict. One green rep at stake. Come on.
 
Peep, your thread looks promising. But let me tell you, I am NOT a Chelsea fan. So I'll be really exicted to see how you "book" their season and how Villas-Boas comes out. It sure should be fun. But what about the Americans? I guess they are the majority who visit this forum, right? Will they tune in? Anyways, I really like your idea and it'll be interesting to see how things go about. I am a regular. Let me tell you that. Cheers and keep it up.
 
I thought it would be fun, I like AVB, they have a tonne of money yet their team doesn't seem to perform at the big stages. I am not a big fan of Chelsea myself, but this season almost has a little story to it, so yeah.

I am thinking about posting something once a week in my football thread, maybe every Thursday or something like that. It is a side project and I am putting most of my free time into writing the rest of my go home show (two matches and a couple of promos to go) and then finally the pay-per-view itself. Theo must be itching to post his sections out, and trust me as I have read them, they are incredible bits of writing.

Can't wait for it Peep!

It's Saturday here in Oz, and I'm nursing a bad hangover... so doing any writing today is out of the question haha.. however I wrote the opening segment to my next WCWF episode yesterday which will be the go home show to Starrcade.

World Champion Goldberg vs. The Undertaker is going to be war!!!! :blush:
