I can't recall ever seeing a TNA invasion of the WWE going down here. I've seen joint companies that combine the talent of the two and NSL one time was gonna do an one off show with TNA vs. WWE stars but that never came too. I'd love to see what you bring to the table Pancake.

I've started writing and I've finished the opening segment and first match. Really pumped up now. I think I am going to finish it faster than any other show I have so far.

I suggest you look at GCB's thread to see how things look when done well. You will notice a major difference between BT and WZCW. While the focus in WZCW is the match writing, here in BT the main focus is on the segments and angles.

That's great to hear Pancake. It'll be nice to add another show here in the section. As for advice, Proph gave you some spot on advice. Look at some of the more successful BT threads (specifically GCB's) to see what a well done show looks like. And Proph is also right in the aspect that the angles/segments are the key factors to a show in here compared to the match writing. However that doesn't mean to go easy and let the match writing suffer and lack depth just to focus on the angles. It is a nice mixture of the two.

I've been reading a few BT for a while now like RDV's and Proph's. I want to make the angles fit the matches and the matches fit the angles. Thanks for all the advice guys.

Hey guys, I'm thinking about doing the 2011 Book This! awards. These are not awards where moments or matches or PPVs get awarded but this is something where we as writers get awarded. Here are some categories I've thought of:

Booker of the Year

Fed of the Year

Rookie of the Year (who doesn't have previous Book This! experience; who has started writing in 2011)

Mr. Popular of the Year (who's always been in the upper half of the Fortnightly Ratings)

Graphic Maker of the Year

Reviewer of the Year

Improvement Maker of the Year (who's improved a hell lot in the year)

I'm planning to make a thread for this in the main section. Just wanted to know your thoughts? Are they the right categories. Want me to add/remove some. Which ones? Please feed me back on this. More details will be coming soon.

It's been tried before - if you can make it work, that'd be fine. I'd like to see an award for 'Storyline of the Year' and 'BT Best Used Superstar of the Year' as well as 'Match of the Year' and 'PPV of the Year' ... GCB

I'd also suggest that the best fed, best booker and 'Mr Popular' could be combined as one category.

GCB, you made two post so I couldn't quote both of them. As for the two categories you mentioned, I might add them to the list but will they match with the rest of the categories where I am giving out the awards to the writers, not the fed.

How do I combine those three categories you mentioned. Best Booker is the main category and Best Fed is the second fiddle. But yeah, I could very well take out the Mr. Popular category all together. If not that, then I'll probably take out Improvement Maker of the Year.

The awards will be based purely on voting. So, I'll make a thread in the main section, put up the nominations, and you can vote by PMs to me.

Any more categories???????
