Bobby Lashely Next Goldberg ?!?!

Lashley winning the world title just sums up how desperate smackdown is. He is nothing more than repackaged version of everything from the last 5 years. And its boring.

Lashely showed some talent in when he first went to the WWE but then i began to relize that every match ends the same with the same four moves. His taunting stalling suplex ( i think of this as his "version" of the Jackhammer") the Dominator (Ron Simmons move, why cant he atleast be oringinal ? ) and the Spear which is most like goldberg. He was given a brief winning streak which somehow put him over (like Bill)

Thoughts ?
first you only named three moves lol i like lashely he reminds me of a unpolished brock lesner then a goldberg, goldberg was all power all the time and i had no promblem with that but i also think goldberg is the most undertalented and overhyped superstar of all time well 2nd next to hogan, please don't put bobby on that list just yet, for the record 1st.bobby lashely is bigger then goldberg, goldberg is taller but lashely is bigger 2nd.the taunting stalling suplex is a stalling suplex and not the jackhammer batista does the jackhammer, ron simmons didn't use the dominator that much and lashely's was better anyway but he dosen't use it anymore he now calls the running power slam (like bulldog) the dominator, nobody dose the spear like goldberg i can say he had the best spear of anyone that uses it.3rd.i don't think the wwe overpushed brock lesner his title win and regin was perfect randy is overhyped to me but when he won the title i didn't think it was overpushed.last i think that lashely would be a lot better if the wwe would have left him in ovw or dsw for a little longer to make him learn a little faster and debut as a better wrestler.

If you've watched more than a few of Lashley's matches, you'd be familiar with the fact that he does more than a few moves. Much like any other wrestler, he has his favorite moves. But he has the most vicious Exploder and Belly-to-Belly Suplexes I've ever seen. He moves around a lot better than any of the muscle guys today. I like Lashley

lashley's skills in the ring are better than goldberg's but on the mic goldberg kills lashley

lashley will not be the next goldberg..2 be serious, edge spears harder den lashley. goldbergs spear was a freakin powerhouse move. no1 will come close 2 goldberg

I think Lashley is closer to Lesnar than goldberg, and why does Batista do the jackhammer now?

I agree with you Lasley is definetly more Lesnar like than Goldberg- ike, infact I'd like to see him use the F-5 as his finisher are rename it the Lashout

Batista did the Jackhamer last night on Smackdown!, He also used the speatr I beleive(on Lashley) so it seems as though Batista is trying to be more Goldberg like to me

I hope Lashley tries to be more like Lesnar and Angle. Being more like Goldberg isn't a good thing. Bobby needs to focus on his match pacing, and having an offensive arsenal that is well-rounded and dangerous. He has the makings of something special, though.

i agree hes more like lesnar den goldberg...and batista has been using the jackhammer and spear 4 a while now

While personally I dislike saying "He's the next so-and-so," Lashleycertainly has some of Goldberg and Lesnar's qualities in him. Unfortunately, charisma is what is restricting him. OVW or DSW is where he should have remained for at least a year, gradually improving his skills on the mic. But I don't think it is fair to say he is boring, uses three moves to finish a match. So do a lot of other superstars. Batista: Spinebuster; Batista Bomb HBK: Elbow Drop; Sweet Chin Music; Benoit: 3 German Suplexes, Flying Headbutt/Suicide Dive (What's it called?)Sharpshooter or Crossface (Admittedly he sometimes locks in the Crossface unexpectedly)Even Eddie used the same thing. It's just there signature moves, thats it, nothing else. Lashley actually has quite a few, including one of the best Explosions and Belly to Belly Suplexes I've seen.
He's not Goldberg, because of the difference in Charisma, but Goldberg, IMO, in his prime, would have been outshone by Lashley in his prime due to in ring ability.
