I don't think it's that clear-cut...

I love all of the CDs from both of them, and they both have a very unique sound of the same style.

Live is what decided it for me. Shinedown is great live, but the singer talks too much. BSC was amazing beyond belief. Easily the 3rd best band I've seen live. They were opening for Hinder, so they clearly stole the show...

Good lyrics, great energy. Very Metal, Very Good.

Combine in that "Fokelore and Superstition" got to 16 on Metal Hammer's top 50 albums of 2008, beating out some good albums like "Nostradamus" by Judas Priest, "Motorizer" by Motorhead, "The Slip" by Nine Inch Nails and "Saints of Los Angeles" by Motley Crue. OK that last one was fairly crap. So that shows the company that they are beating with that album in terms of quality music for last year.

I hate both these bands but if I had to pick one it'd be BSC, Shinedown is just pure shit I can't recall them ever releasing a singe song that was is remotely close to being tolerable let alone good, Shinedown may very well be one of the single worst bands I have ever heard, the next time they decide to look down the barrel of that 45 maybe they should pull the trigger so we no longer have to suffer through hearing anymore of their shit music
