Better Live Renditions

Барбоса

doesn't know REAL wrestling...
The last few days I have had my entire music collection running on one massive playlist and I was wondering if there was any songs you have heard live either in person or recorded live that were better than the studio release.

The recorded version of Big Love by Fleetwood Mac on their Greatest Hits album is fantastic, much better than the original release. I have been told that actually hearing it done in person is better still.

It might get some hate from purists but Nothing Else Matters by Metallica on their S&M album never ceases to make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck.

Outside performed by Staind frontman Aaron Lewis and Fred Durst on Breaking the Cycle is another that gives me goosebumps.

The Kings of Leon's performance of Manhattan at Glastonbury is as good as if not better than the original.

While not one of their own songs, my all time favourite live performance is Nirvana's version of David Bowie's The Man Who Sold the World at their MTV Unplugged session.

Thoughts or ridicule?
