i,m a go with trish she was a great wrestler something that is were in the womans divison as of late but she had great mic skills and she had the ability to make you hate her as a heel or feel for her as a face

I've went for Gail Kim. I feel she was the complete package in TNA- she was fantastic as the heel valet for JJ and AMW and better still as the poster girl for the Knockouts. The way TNA let her go and the subsequent treatment by WWe makes me cry.

I've always personally felt that the best female wrestler ever would be either Medusa (WCW) or either Susan Sexton or Wendi Ritcher (NWA-LPWA). Even though I personally was "in-love" with Woman (NWA, circa 1989-1990) and Missy Hyatt (NWA, circa 1989-1990), and eventually Trish Stratus (WWF), Melina (WWE), and SoCal Val (TNA), but in the ring I'd always go with those first 3 names I mentioned.

The fabulous Moolah. End of fucking story. Trish Stratus, Lita, Gail Kim, and anyone else you can think of don't even come close. No offense to the OP, but by omitting Moolah from your poll, you A) reveal you are probably under the age of 20 and B) have absolutely no knowledge of wrestling history.

Seriously, it would be like a poll asking who the best baseball player ever was, and the only choices were recent players, with no mention of Babe Ruth, Lou Gerhig, Mickey Mantle or Hank Aaron. I almost want to say leaving Moolah off the list is a grave insult to every women's wrestler who owes their career to her. Meaning pretty much every diva, every knockout, every female wrestler you have ever seen on TV. When it comes to women's wrestling, there is Moolah, and then everyone else. Leaving her off the poll is ridiculous.

This.^^^

I love Lita and Gail Kim. They are probably my favorite women wrestlers. And it makes me smile that Francine was listed on this poll because I love her, too. But let's be real, what have any of these women accomplished that the Fabulous Moolah hasn't? She is the female version of Hulk Hogan. Moolah wrestled in a different era, so she wasn't as flashy or as attractive as most of the women listed on this poll- but she was certainly better. Moolah is a legend.

I voted for Lita because she is my favorite from all time, nevertheless, like a lot of you are saying, Moola is a legend and probably the best of all time.

Why I voted for Lita? because she changed the percetion of female wrestling at the time, when it appeared to go in the direction of what we have today were female wrestling is completely secondary and some call it the worst part of the WWE, this girl and company put on a show like no other and used aerial moves none used before, now a few are commong for the divas like the head scissors or a regular huracanrana or even the moonsault, but there is no woman in the WWE that can perform the Litacanrrana like Lita (Gail Kim might get close but still) or her swinging DDT. She was a pioneer in what she did, Harcore matches, cage matches, strap matches, table matches, intergender matches, you name it, she did it all, she is the woman who has competing in more main events of Raw and Smackdown in WWE history and the only woman to win 2 titles at the main event of Raw, in 2000 and 2004.

When she turned heel she became one of the best managers and a big part of why Edge got so successful as the Rated R superstar when that job was underrated and appeared to banish.

She played a big part of the farewell of Trish Stratus and on making Mickie James into the new face of the Divas when she left, that unfortunately James was not what everyone expected is another story, but it was also influneced by the WWE completely sidelined female wrestling and put on the standard of looks before ability, something that is costing them.

So for me that is why Lita is and always will be my favorite female wrestler of all time.

It has to be Trish. There are others on the list that are enjoyable to watch in a Bra and Panties match or be involved in some other storyline but Trish is one of the few that actually looked really hot and could actually wrestle. I'd but Lita in the same category, but I like Trish better so she gets my vote.

Out of the poll, definately Trish...dammit she could wrestle...

You have missed out Fabolous Moolah...how many days did she hold the Women's title for? I think she was the most dominant female wrestler ever...she was amazing..back in them days when it was just really about wrestling...that's what makes her the best..
