Championship Contender
Pretty self-explanatory. I just wanted to see who you guys choose, so I put a poll and I will include how I personally feel about the 7 ladies I have chosen:
7. Nikki Bella 6.5/10 - It sickens me that she is even here, but whatever. I think her biggest asset is her ability to draw heat, even though she has no mic skills and barely any ring ability to back it up. Out of all the injuries that plagued DB & The Bellas, it's a damn shame that Bryan was the one forced to retire and we have to deal with Nikki's return in a few months.
6. Paige 7.5/10- Remember when people thought she was the future of Women's Wrestling!? I was never on that boat, but I'm glad now WWE Creative and the majority of the IWC have opened their eyes to that too.
5. Becky Lynch 9.3/10 - I know, I know. I am going to get CRUCIFIED for putting her so low, but I think that's more of a testament to how good the other 4 women are as opposed to saying Becky is bad, because she certainly isn't. As a matter of fact, she's one of the best all-around female competitors we've had in a while.
4. Natalya Neidhart 9.5/10 - I'm stubborn. The Dungeon's favorite Diva will always appear in my top 5 as long as she keeps lacing her boots; it's not her fault WWE Creative has completely squandered away her entire career with the company. Technically, there is perhaps no one in the world who can match her, and she has decent enough mic skills to keep her at the top of the divison (just like like Uncle Bret) but instead WWE gives her farting gimmicks and makes her a valet.
3. Charlotte 9.5/10 - Just like Nattie, I don't think WWE is doing her justice with her booking. In NXT, she was Charlotte, the dominant charismatic and uber athletic diva. A true embodiment of genetic perfection, much like how Orton was branded during the Evolution years. On RAW, she's just Ric Flair's kid. The whole "legend's kid" has killed so many careers in the past (I miss you Ted DiBiase jr.!!!) but the fact that Charlotte has somehow made it work is a true credit to her and it certainly doesn't hurt that she can go with the best of them.
2. Bayley 9.999999/10 - The quintessential WWE PG Diva. If I'm Vince, I would've called her up first and made her the female icon and face of the Divas Revolution. Bayley is absolutely money; her gimmick tailors to children perfectly and grown men love that caboose she's working with. I went to NXT in Albany and literally every demographic could be seen wearing Bayley shirts, she has a unique universal popularity that can really send a positive message to young girls everywhere. Once again, it certainly doesn't hurt that she can go with the best of them in the ring too.
1. Sasha Banks 10/10 - Until Seth Rollins returns, this is my pick for the greatest all-around performer of any gender in the world. She is the best in-ring performer and the best on the mic in her division by miles. She has the look, has the swagger, that intangible "it" factor that makes viewers care and that draws you in during her matches. She's on a very short list of competitors that actually make me suspend disbelief when she's in the ring, her psychology is second to none in my personal opinion. It will be an absolute travesty if she doesn't leave WrestleMania 32 with the belt.
