Ben Affleck is the new Batman

The films getting released 2015 same time as Star Wars episode VII. I think Avengers is the least of their concern.

I strongly dislike this casting choice. I could care less about Daredevil, my complaint has nothing to do with Ben Affleck as an actor, it has to do with Bruce Wayne/Batman the character(s). My mental image of Bruce Wayne/Batman is heavily shaped by the comics and Batman TAS. I think of a tall, broad shouldered guy with a strong jawline who is frankly, more man than Affleck is. Is Affleck believable as a character who has spent decades physically training, learning as many martial arts skills as possible and being an all around badass? To me, no. It's not that I think Affleck is a bad actor, he just doesn't fit the role, that's all. I would have much preferred someone like Jon Hamm. He is probably the closest to my mental image of Bruce Wayne of all the current Hollywood crop.

Basically, this is about as close to the Bruce Wayne look as I have seen:

Both are owned by Disney, both will probably stomp it out, plus Avatar 2 and slew of other highly anticipated things are coming out as well that year.

To be fair, that pic of Hamm doesn't convince me of the bolded part of your quote. There's only so many times I can bring it up but his character and performance in The Town is what gives me confidence that he can pull this off.

Apparently Affleck signed on for thirteen films. They're also reporting Mr. Heisenberg himself has signed for Lex Luthor.
