As long as they get the casting right for Lex Luthor and have Batman in a much lesser role than Superman it can still be good.

While Fassbender would have been cool, I don't mind Ben getting the role at all. "But Daredevil wah wah wah...", that was at a time where all he did was be in shite films and showed little promise for the future.
The Affleck of recent years has directed and acted to a much higher degree that people thought him capable of just a few years prior. I'm optimistic about this.

I'm okay with this. Ben Affleck is one of the best actors currently in Hollywood, however it sucks when a lead role is replaced by someone else - I remember when there were rumors of replacing Daniel Radcliffe in the Harry Potter series, damn how shitty would it be?

While Daredevil (especially the extended version) is better than people give it credit for, I do not want Ben Affleck as Batman.

Anyways, the more I think about it, the more I think this film is going to be shit no matter who is cast as Batman. I actually feel bad for Affleck in the sense that if the movie ends up sucking that he's going to get most of the blame for it, even though it won't at all be his fault. It'll be just like 2003 all over again for the guy, at a time when people were just starting to respect and like him. I don't think it's a good move on his part.
