Batista....really? why?

I don’t think Rhodes or Dibiase if far enough along in their careers with the WWE to hold that major of a title at this point. Compared to where Orton was when he got the title the first time, to where they are, there is no comparison. Orton was build up in Evolution a lot better than Rhodes and Dibiase have been in Legacy. Does anyone remember last summer when CM Punk won the title? I do, and it sucked. Let’s not have to endure that pain again.

Also what’s worse is Triple H is back, so the summer is already ruined. Lets hope he gets injured as quickly as Batista, and goes out on the shelf again for 3-6months.

I won't deny, having HHH back blows slightly, but that's your only other main eventer, aside from HBK who is dealing with some old people things. Maybe the way for WWE to solve this problem is by creating more main eventers... idk maybe have Shelton Benjamin in the main event where he belongs instead of midcard limbo where he has been held for 5 years? How bout the Miz? Or would we rather see Big Show dry-hump Cena's back for the 5th straight week (slight pun w/ theCamel Clutch and "hump"... okay, I'll stop)?

I agree with moving the Miz up the card. I want to see him go over Cena clean.

HHH, Batista, and HBK don't have too long left at the top, and it is time to establish some new main eventers.

To reply to T Light...

You don't have to put a major title on someone to move them up. All you need is to have them go over a main eventer clean. I would mark the moment that Jeff Hardy beat HHH in the number one contender's match at Armageddon 2007 as the moment he became a main eventer, and he didn't hold a major title for a year after that. If you look at Chris Jericho, he is a main eventer, and he is IC champ, not world champ.
