Baking Brownies With Canola Oil Instead of Vegetable Oil il

Planning to bake delicious Ghirardelli carmel turtle brownies and the instructions state that I must use vegetable oil. Problem is, I only have canola oil. Should I blow against the wind and go with the canola? Will it make that much of a difference??
 
Maybe in your commoner Betty Crocker brownie, but Ghirardelli brownies can give you that same high all their own, if not more so.

Also, I won't get arrested for it.
 
No difference

We'll find out in 45-50 minutes. They'll either taste just the same, or the canola will mutate my brownies into some sort of sentient, malevolent creature.

On a side note,I love how the recipe for Ghirardelli brownie mix tells you to mix the egg, oil, and water first and then add the mix to it, as opposed to every other brownie mix where it's the other way around.

It's like they're saying "Look, asshole, you don't add things to Ghirardelli brownie mix to make it better. You add Ghirardelli brownie mix to make everything else better."
