Bad ass stable that never happened but should have

Ballin247

Pre-Show Stalwart
I was thinking about a bad ass stable that should have happened but not never will. What if the Rock would have started a family stable with all his relatives like the old Hart Foundation. It could have been a sick ass Stable with The Rock, Rikishi, Umaga, Rosey, and Maybe Orlando Jordan since he is also a cousin of the Rock. I know that this stable is impossible now but how do you think it would have worked if they did it back then in like 2004 had the Rock decided to not retire?

Would have elevated all of their careers. Rikishi, Rosey and Jamal, AND Orlando Jordan would have been great. But Orlando was getting a rub from world champion JBL at that time, so Jordan would have been fine.

This is a good thread. Makes me think. I like threads that actually provoke thought.

The Rock having people doing his dirty work would have further established him as a heel and would have made for good TV with Evolution and the Cabinet with JBL. This company is in dire need of more factions. Legacy's it. EFF!

I would've like to seen Undertaker, Kane, Mordecai, and Sean O'Haire come together and make a stable...with a Manager....not Paul Bearer tho. Maybe Kevin Sullivan

And the timing would have been perfect to start this stable after Rikishi was revealed as the hit and run driver on austin and claimed that he did it for the rock, and he did it for the people. Rikishi could have said, "I did it for the rock, I did it for the family". Very nice idea for a stable.

The HOT ROD along with the Highlanders...

We seen it ONCE and then nothing.....imagine that rub

The Hardys (Tag Team) along with Evan Bourne and CM Punk or Rey Mysterio....basically another "Main Eventer" would be awesome. RVD would have been a perfect fit.

JBL's new cabinet

C.O.S = MVP
S.O.D = Miz and Morrison

Would have made JBL's character made sense again (he's on top because he has numerous people helping him) while giving MVP a more obvious protegee role, while M&M are in it for the tag team gold the group guarenteed.

New Breed

Elijah Burke
CM Punk (Heel)
Shelton Benjamin
Charlie Hass (Heel)

New breed was done totally wrong. These should have been the members, should have decimated the originals and gone on to feud with a big name trying to save ECW.

Rated RKO

Orton
Edge
Dibase
Rhodes
Ken Kennedy

Ended to quickly. They came about at mis-matched times but Edge and Orton should have led legacy (young guys, not 2nd gen)

Heart & Honour/The Radicals

Chris Jericho (face)
Rey Mysterio
Eddie Guerrero
Rob Van Dam

Team of (finally) dominant good guys, would probably face off with a big league heel team.

An awesome stabe would have been, Steve Austin and Goldberg, i mean how awesome would that be? they would be the most dominant force on raw in 2003.

A stable I would have loved to see is an all Big man stable on SD manged by JBL. I would've had Big Show as the leader and World/ WWE champ; Umaga as the versatile enforcer and U.S./ IC champ; and Kozlov & The great Kahli as tag champs. JBl could claim his in ring days were over but to prove that he is a wrestling god , he has brought together a team of the worlds most dominating big men. I think it could have helped JBig Show get over more since his return, plus, help the latter three become household names like Taker, Kane , and Show. I also felt JBL would be a great manager as he has been absolutly horrible in the ring since his return two years ago , imo.

team usa vs the world
team usa- cena, batusta, triple h nd orton
the world- khali, kozlov, dupree, nd sylvan
only problem is the world will have the worst workers in the business

this is a great idea but if you are going to use the idea of the world and not add some of the better wrestlers such as Chris Jericho, Edge, Christian all being Canadian, Eddie Guerrero and Rey Msyterio being Mexican and The Rock who is Black and Samoan and also thanks to the new law making him Canadian

my team would be The Rock, Edge, Chris Jericho, and Eddie Guerrero

a good stable that is still likely is Edge, Y2J, Christan have you seen the way Edge and y2J look at each other. this stable could kick ass. they would rule the other shows Legacy is not on. then you could have like Kane, Undertaker, Umaga to oppose them as the Faces.

I'd like to see Cryme Tyme pair up with R-Truth and form something reminiscent of the Nation of Domination, except funnier. Hell, put in Ezekiel Jackson for some added muscle and there's an unstoppable force in the making. Just figured I'd throw that out there given the whole "New Hart Foundation" talk I've been hearing. Maybe a repeat of history? New Hart Foundation feuding with the new NOD.

i like the idea of hbk in a mentor role the way ric flair was with evolution with morrison, randy orton and a powerhouse kind of guy coming up like mike knox. i know orton is already with legacy but in a hypothetical way this could be a horsemen like stable a la evolution, with some dx attitude sprinkled on top.

Yeah, this idea has been used badly over and over again, like teenagers and drug needles, but I'd like to see a tri-branded Team Canada tweener stable in the WWE. It should revolve around the thought that Canada produces better wrestlers, which isn't always true, but, meh, you get it, sonny boy. They could have Chris Jericho , Edge, Christian, The New Hart Foundation (which we're all waiting for), and any others that I'm missing. This could help soldify spots for the New Hart Foundation and make them better wrestlers and entertainers, rather than the 13% unemployement statistic. There are many storylines that could go with this stable, other than the obvious nation vs nation thing. They could also have a partial pairing of wrestlers dominating on each brand, and capturing gold in the process. This could also be pushed by an extremely unprobable appearance by Bret Hart, or some other great Canadian wrestler.

ok... but you forgot one guy... kinda a BIG guy, and also a much more known guy... YOKOZUNA!

that would be a great faction... but who would be the lead guy? the horseman had Ric Flair, D-X had Shawn or HBK depending on when they ran and the nWo had Hulk Hogan. so as much as i love the idea of this Samoan Faction, playing off the Hart family and the Hart Foundation i dont see who the True leader would be. Of course that it is if Yokozuna and The Rock are both still alive. Umaga would be the best mid-card guy, but who would be the top guy in that faction? Rocky or Yokozuna?

I'd have to say Yokozuna would be the leader with or without Mr. Fuji. due to the fact that he was so large.

what does everyone else think

i guess i was jst thinkin of superstars today. rock nd eddie will make a great team

My WWE Tag Teams/Stables that I would like to see in WWE now are:
Rated-RKO- (Randy Orton and Edge)- SMACKDOWN/RAW
Priceless- (Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes)- RAW
The Next Generation Hart Foundation- (DH Smith and Tyson Kidd) -ECW
The Colons- (Carlito and Primo)-RAW
Cryme Tyme- (JTG and Shad Gaspar)-SMACKDOWN
The Brothers of Destruction-(Kane and Undertaker)-SMACKDOWN...give them one last run as tag champs.
World's Greatest Tag Team- (Benjamin and Haas)-SMACKDOWN...Haas got drafted back to SD so why not?
DX-(Triple H and HBK w/Stephanie as manager)-good tag team....Imagine DX vs B.O.D!

I really don't think that stable would have been necessary. The Rock didn't need anyone at that point in time. Sure, it would have elevated the careers of Rikishi, Rosey, and Orlando Jordan, but does is anyone really sitting around upset over the way their WWE careers turned out? The three of them blew. Sticking them with the hottest man in the company wouldn't have changed that...it would have just prolonged the inevitable.

I'd say Rocky and Umaga are doing just fine right now.

I've always liked the idea of legitimate athlete/shoot fighter stable, with guys like Shamrock, Severn, Lesnar, Tank Abbott, etc. They'd have needed someone as a mouthpiece, but I think that could have been entertaining. Just some legitimately bad motherfuckers beating the shit out of everyone. And I think they could have gotten over massively as heels by claiming the WWE wrestlers were inferior to them.

What about something with the current post draft situation on ECW?

The Soviet Cyborg, The world strongest man, and um...well he doesnt have a nickname, but Brian Kendricks bodyguard, Ezekiel.

After a night of boozing, they band together to form, MONSTERS INC.

Imagine the split in merchandising they could have with Disney and Pixar. Vince Mcmahon would love it, the kids would love it, and you have three dominant guys to mow down evan bourne week in, week out.

Rated-RKO- (Randy Orton and Edge)
Those guys have interesting storylines going right now. Orton with Legacy and Edge in the main event.

Priceless- (Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes)
They have an excellent spot in Legacy right now. On their own they wouldn't get too far.

The Next Generation Hart Foundation- (DH Smith and Tyson Kidd)
Sounds ok, just don't leave Natalya out of it.

Cryme Tyme- (JTG and Shad Gaspar)
If my memory serves me correctly, they are together.

The Brothers of Destruction-(Kane and Undertaker)
DX-(Triple H and HBK w/Stephanie as manager)
This would be good...for nothing. We've seen DX reunite too many times, and Kane and Undertaking don't need to be tag teaming with anyone. Plus that would get old, fast.
World's Greatest Tag Team- (Benjamin and Haas)-SMACKDOWN...Haas got drafted back to SD so why not?
They tried to make this happen again recently. Nothing good came out of it. Benjamin has had a good singles run since they disbanded.

But anyway, I would have like to seen Brock Lesnar form a stable when he was in the WWE. At Survivor Series 2003, he had his team against Kurt Angle's. I would have liked to seen that team become a permanent thing on Smackdown. The team was Lesnar (of course), Nathan Jones, Matt Morgan, A-Train (Giant Bernard now in Japan), and the Big Show.

It would have potentially elevated the careers of Morgan, Jones, and maybe even have pushed A-Train to the main event. Maybe they could have all attacked Big Show and kick him out eventually, turning Show face and feud against Lesnar for the title. Then have Jones and Morgan go for the tag belts. Which would leave A-Train for the U.S. title. But not have them champion at one time.

Yeah, it would of gotten old after a while, so they would have eventually split up after a year or so.
