It's better the second time. Someone needs to release a version with Maggie G's face blurred out. Badly. People talk about being freaked out by Aaron Eckhart's face when that shit's in the movie!?

why do you feel alfred was terribly written?? I disagree whole heartedly. not half heartedly. WHOLE heartedly

nevermind. I misunderstood. im an idiot

I'll explain either way. Alfred is a poor choice as he wouldn't really fit in with the story. I was just getting at the fact that he's got a similar sized role, yet he served a purpose, and would have added a little more weight if he'd died. Her role was to get blown up, but because she'd done fuck all in the role before it didn't carry the dramatic weight it should have.

Is it true that you are infact Top Gear's tame racing driver, The Stig?

Yes, but don't tell anyone.

Personally I felt that Morgan Freeman wouldve been GREAT as alfred, but goodness knows we couldnt cast a black man in a role of being a butler.

If Alfred is white by origin then he should be white in the films. They already gave Freeman God, twice at that. All because he's black, probably. Or it could be that silky smooth voice. Dreamy.

That's alright then, I was going to keep asking you until you said yes. :lmao:

I'm watching Hull vs Stoke, On match of the day.

It's wank, avert your eyes.

The better narrator: Edward Norton or Morgan Freeman? I know the obvious option but Norton played a character called The Narrator.

It was alright, King's goal was pretty awesome, The fuller penalty was questionable, But 1-1 seemed a fair result.

It was a penalty, he was through and the keeper tripped him up. He made the most of, that's all. But why shouldn't he?

Stoke deserved a win.

Edward Norton isn't really called The Narrator, it's just easier to give him a label, and the name Jack is shit.

Morgan Freeman narrates too much stuff these days. Where's the Penguin film with Nick Nolte talking?

I disagree, man. The best Bruce Wayne scene ever any Batman film is when Wayne is telling Alfred that Harvey Dent can never know Rachel was going to leave him. The naivety, pain, and determination on Bale's face perfectly illustrated the futility of his life as Batman. And while Bale made the scene great; Caine made the scene perfect. I mean, you could see Alfred thinking "Ah shit, he doesn't have a clue" before grabbing Rachel's letter. A classic example of What he doesn't know won't hurt him.

So yeah... for that scene alone, it was the perfect choice to kill off Rachel. While I agree the role wasn't written and Gyllenhaal didn't give the type of performance necessary to make us feel that much sympathy for her (personally, I was happy she got blown up), that scene between Batman and Alfred completely makes up for that, in my opinion.
