This was posted on his twitter the other day.....

Exciting news. My friends at CAA have been asking me for 7 years when they can take offers seriously. Gave them the green light today.

Creative Artists Agency is one of Hollywood's top talent agencies.

And here's an older article about Arnold's return: http://www.moviehole.net/201135778-schwarzeneggers-comeback-movie-may-be

We all know Arnold's tenure as the Governor Of California has ended, and it seems like he's interested in returning to the big screen. I haven't seen The Expendables yet, but if Arnold is going to make full time return to film, then you can be sure he'll be doing more than cameos.

Arnold returning to cinema sounds like a cool idea, but what else could he do? Would you really want to see him be The Terminator again? I enjoyed the first two films, but I wasn't too crazy about Rise Of The Machines. We probably won't be seeing the same kick ass version of Scwarzenegger if he returns. The guy is 63 years old, so I doubt we'll see the famous wrecking machine again. Although, Arnold could play roles that don't require too much physical action. I'm sure Arnold still has fans left out there, so you can be sure people will go to theaters to see his movies. He might not be the big box office draw he once was, but his films should rake in a decent amount of cash.

I don't if I'm to excited about Arnold's potential return to film. I'm not against a return. I'm just not that excited to see one. I loved The Terminator and Judgment Day, and Arnold does have some other films I enjoy. Still, Arnold's career revolved around him being the tough guy. He was the big muscle man who would destroy everything in his path, and I just don't see him being able to do the same type of stuff at 63 years old. He showed us his softer side in Twins, Jingle All The Way, and Kindergarten Cop, but Arnold isn't famous for these films. I don't know how Arnold's potential return to film will play out, but It'll be interesting to see what type of roles he will play.

Would you want to see Arnold return to film?

I think Arnold's comedic timing has always been extremely underrated.

Arnold Schwarzenegger gets lumped with Sylvester Stallone and other action stars from the past, but the fact is, unlike Sly, whose career has solely relied on him being a bad ass and staying in incredible shape, Arnold can venture into comedy, kids, and romance films, and they'll still be successful AND enjoyable. Arnold has this charm about him that very few in the cinema World possesses, and in my opinion it's that charm that has led him to his success more than anything else. Sure, at first it was the big muscles and bad ass persona, but through time he became a comedic actor and a bit of a teddy bear type of dude.

So, yeah... I think he'll do just fine once he returns. Just like before he entered office, he'll balance out the action and comedy roles, and there's just no doubt in my mind that people will flock to see his films just like they did in the eighties and nineties.

From an interview I read about Arnold, he plans on doing a film that's been sat on his desk for quite some time. Reportedly he'd play a German soldier in the second World War, sent to murder some children, but instead saves them, leading to an adventure story of sorts. If that is nature, I think it'd be a nice way for Arnold to get back into film. It would introduce him to the new generation of kids, who may not have seen his earlier stuff like Kindergarten Cop or Twins. Arnold, like JMT said, has always had the ability to pull off comedy and kids films. His timing is good and he's always entertaining. He's basically what you'd want from a comedy actor and I think that's where his future lies. Of course I'm not against a cameo in any future Terminator films, I just think with his age, comedy is where he should be.

I would like to see him in a movie are two. I like him as an actor. I was excited to see that there was some potential of seeing Arnold returning to the big screen and I'm glad he hasn't completely ruled it out. What I would like though is for him to have a bigger role in The Expendables 2. In the first one he only did one scene in the movie. He was the govenor though so I understand that he couldn't be in more scenes. But hopefully since he isn't govenor anymore he will have a bigger role in the Expendables 2 movie.

I wouldn't mind seeing "Ahnold" make a return to the movies. I remember seeing somewhere a little while ago, that he has lost somewhere around $200 million in movie deals for being "The Governator". I think the Terminator has ran it's course with him, if they do make anymore he will just have a cameo in it. I think JMT is right though, he will balance out the comedies and action movies. No way he doesn't do some action movies, as that is what he is best known for, although I'm sure his action scenes will be toned down a little, given he is a little older now. I'm sure he would still be a lead character, but not have the movie solely based around him. I wouldn't mind seeing the comedy side of him either, as most of his comedies were definitely enjoyable. Kindergarten Cop and Twins are two of my favorite eighties movies. Hopefully the rumors are true about True Lies 2, that have been floating around for awhile now. I tend to think though that they will just say rumors as Cameron will be busy with the Avatar sequels.

Arnold should do action and comedy, no romance or drama films, his acting not that good. Plus I cannot see him in those films.
