I'm a nihilist, which is close, but I may upgrade someday.

I feel that the majority of my displays of emotion/good acts are forced or a means to an end.

Also, what makes you think you are a nihilist? That's what my first question in my first post in this thread tried to get at. Is it from reading Camus?

She said the world can be a beautiful place if you let it be. I took that to mean if you're insane but happy, who cares? If I was insane to everyone else but perfectly happy, I wouldn't see myself as insane.

Camus didn't do this to me. I read The Stranger a while back. I just don't see much meaning anywhere. I don't think god exists and if he doesn't then what meaning could there be. There is no evil; shit just happens.

The world is the ugliest thing I've ever seen, but it has the ability to get a face lift if you just try hard enough.

In the end, I'm pretty sure if I was gonna end up being a psycho, I would've already been there by now. My ex could've fucked me up beyond belief, add that next to all the shit I went through with childhood. (nothing bad, but similar to NorCal - he'll understand)

I'd say I'm more tougher for what I experienced than crazy.
