Are Any Wrestlers Ruining Their Legacy?

The most obvious choice is Chris Benoit. It's a shame that he'll be remembered as a murderer instead of the greatest technical wrestler of all time. He was well on his way into the WWE Hall of Fame, but now WWE is trying to erase Benoit completely.

Kane is also ruining his legacy. He started out as a monster Heel, played a decent Face, and then was unmasked and became all psychotic. Now he's put on weight and is nothing more than a jobber. I couldn't believe it when he was pinned after an Elbow Drop at Survivor Series. Come on, it once took The Undertaker THREE Tombstones to put Kane away. Kane's in his 40's so he's probably retiring soon. I don't know if there is much time left to re-establish Kane as one of the most dominant Heels in the business.

Scott Hall is definitely ruining his legacy. He went from "Match of the Year" winner with Shawn Michaels to some has-been that doesn't even show up for work. Scott Hall was huge as Razor Ramon, Scott Hall was huge in the first nWo, Scott Hall was decent in WWE's nWo. Now he's nothing but a has-been.

Triple H is also ruining his legacy because he hogs the spotlight way too much. From 2003 and beyond, he was just on top way too much, which was completely unnecessary since he was already a top superstar. However, he's still going to be a Hall of Famer because he's literally married to the business. Besides, the casual WWE fan is probably unaware of HHH's backstage pull.
