Anonymous Raw General Manager....

You are reacting from past experiences with this.Maybe this time around it will not be a heel angle, maybe this anonymous raw gm is fair,They made Cole a heel last time but let's wait and see if it's the same shtick.

I see where you're coming from, but I think the point is that nobody really cares whether the laptop is a heel or a face. It's the "anonymous" thing that annoys everyone. We all want to see an actual person, heel or face, come out to the ring and cut promos as the GM. I don't want Michael Cole reading from a computer screen. Roman Reigns isn't going to superman-punch a laptop screen. How does a laptop screen get its comeuppance? Is Dean Ambrose going to program a virus and put it on a flash drive? There is precious little that the WWE can do to make me interested in this angle if it extends beyond next week into the months ahead. Even eventually revealing the anonymous GM to be someone like Sting would be a complete waste of time. I think the WWE has two options: either announce a GM, or don't have one at all. The computer gimmick does a bang-up job of accomplishing neither of the above.

I fucking hate the fact that Triple H was right...

I hate the Laptop GM... HATE IT!!!

The only way this works is if its The Rock because it makes sense that in his schedule he can't be there live in person all the time. But no! last we heard this was Hornswaggle.

Michael Cole laughing cracked me up and made me wonder if it was even in the original script. Is it true that after RAW went off air, Ziggler superkicked him?........Why? Although I guess actions which occur off-air don't always have to be taken seriously (The Wyatt's running out from under the ring during a Cena promo).

This is an insanely good point. I waited week in and out to figure out who the GM was, figuring they would actually come on screen. Basically I viewed it as a weekly vignette hyping up somebody's return or debut and it never came.

If you remember people started attacking the Laptop, I wanna say Edge did one week...but I'm really not certain. I know somebody did it just was so lame that it didn't stick in my brain.

I don't think this is a bad thing, worst case scenario it lasts until Mania and we get a new GM, most likely a face Triple H to fight against a heel Rollins maybe?

I still say its only one week for anon raw gm. We do need some kind of Gm to make the main event matches and matches a ppvs how else would we get them? I think each week a different former GM comes in until we get a permanent one.

Early predictions;

-At the start of Raw John Cena comes out with Hornswoggle, only to prove that the midget is NOT the guy behind this scheme when the E-Mails still come.
-The hijinxs this time will greatly benefit the Heels, as you would expect. Figure Kane to be back in action and Ryback to get squashed in turn by Mark Henry.
-At the very end of the Main Event match, undoubtedly where douchebaggery and other shenanigans put Rollins on the upper hand, you get a special appearance by somebody who proceeds to lay out a can of whup-ass, helps the Faces win the match, then destroys the laptop and proclaims he's the 'Sherrif' of next week's Raw. (So yeah, it'll be Stone Cold).

I figure they drag this out a month-6 weeks at most if they stick with just the laptop... if they allow "guest GM's" then Reigns gets it one night so he can book his "big return match", Austin, Foley, Edge or Hogan, maybe Flair... perhaps the anon GM overrules some of their calls... and then the big reveal...

It could be JBL... he could be the one sitting there sending the emails... which would be quite funny when Cole finds out he was the one making him get up and read all those emails...

But I have a strong feeling that the clue was in the phrase "order and discipline..." particularly the latter...or rather that a certain 3 letters appear in that word...

Three I's!!! Yep, I can see the big reveal on this being Kurt Angle is the Anon GM when all is said and done... he is responsible for bringing Sting in (they have some history from the Main Event Mafia) and the other shenanigans. He has history with enough of the roster and particularly Brock... that it makes sense he would be the one to force Brock out of his "hiding".

They were only "offering a full time wrestling contract" but as a non wrestling talent/authority figure then part time works fine... spend some time at the Performance Center to "prove he can go" or train others and be the onscreen authority. Kurt was also featured VERY prominently on this weeks Monday Night Wars show, the first time he really has been on any form of WWE TV for several years, they bigged him up quite a lot...

I don't know who the anonymous g.m. is but they better bring him out soon. Please do not drag this out for a while like last time. We wanted the authority out because things were getting stale same old stories every week. It would be even worse to keep this up again, so bring out a special guest on Monday and while he is talking let Vince come out and say here is your new G.M. out comes Kurt Angle or Sting. This would be awesome Raw needs to keep up the surprises and keep it fresh this is an important time of the year.

Don't know why he is still referred to as the anonymous RAW GM? It was finally revealed that Hornswoggle was the anonymous GM last time. There's nothing anonymous about him now.

This is definitely not the brightest move by the WWE. No one wants to see Hornswoggle calling the shots on RAW again.

all they have to do is make something up like it really wasnt him. Santino got it wrong, or its a new anon raw gm that took over after hornswoggle.

It would be hard for the WWE to explain why it was initially revealed that Hornswoggle was the anonymous GM, but it wasn't really him. Wouldn't go over well with the WWE universe. In addition, Michael Cole quoted tonight at the start of RAW (Tulsa, OK) from the anonymous GM explaining "why he has returned". This indicates that it is the same anonymous GM as before, thus Hornswoggle.

I'm sure most of the WWE universe is not interested in anything Hornswoggle has to say. Thus, when it's time for Michael Cole to quote him, this would be a good time to head to the fridge and grab a beer, or to the concession stand as the case may be...
