If you have ghosts...
Or attempted mutiny, if you will. I'm sorry I couldn't find a proper link to the news but this is all I have for now:

In brief, Ecuador's president Rafael Correa-who was elected democratically- was basically kidnapped by the police after he was hit directly in the face with a gas pump. The police wouldn't let Correa leave the hospital for almost 12 hours. This conducted in confrontations between the police and the army/civilian.
Now this was interpreted by the South American community as an attempt of coup d'état. It was obviusly rejected and condemned by many governments (obviously the bolivian one
) and institutions (OEA for example). But most important by the people. By the ecuatorians and their army. Now this is amazing, cause here in Latin America we have a loooong history with dictatorships and most of the cases it was made by the army and the people of the country didn't do ANYTHING.
However this time it didn't happend!!!
So I want to know your thoughts about what happened yesterday in Ecuador.
Do you agree? Why?
Are you against? Why?
You don't care? Why?
Do you have any doubts?
