An ACTUAL WWE Hall of Fame

We've all thought about it, a building that can be a museum dedicated to the WWE Hall of Fame and other wrestling such. The WWE have always tossed around the idea of having a building like this to home the greatest moments in the WWE's history. We'd all love to see this happen and hope it happens at some point...

The question on this thread is, if there was a WWE museum, what are some of the things you would like to see in it?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

My choices:

- Doesn't need to be said, a WWE Hall of Fame part of the building, complete with an area dedicated to each member of the Hall of Fame. Also a celebrity wing, so it doesn't have to just be a saying. Everyone's profile above their name with stats and accomplishments... It would be great.
- Sections dedicated to one era, a Attitude Era wing, a Golden Era wing, a Ruthless Aggression wing. All with attractions that depict key moments during that era with lighting and faint music in the background of the entrance music of the main eventers at that point.
- My personal favourite... Undertaker's graveyard! A place with tombstones for each of Undertaker's WrestleMania victims, like what they did with WM Access a couple of years ago, but a lot bigger, with Undertaker theme and darkness, yeah!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your turn!

Wax figures, the actual trunks, wrist bands, boots warn in classic matches. LOD's shoulder pads, Ric Flair's robes from some of his more famous matches. That sort of stuff. Maybe they could even throw in some television scripts. It would be like any other museum, taking you through the history of professional wrestling and the WWE. They can't put it in the middle of nowhere like the Baseball Hall of Fame. NYC seems like the only place for it. Hell, I'd stop by every time I visit my In laws.

I'd love to see some of the old sets, like the Smackdown fist. I know they have all the old WCW stuff too, I saw the Thunder sign when Kofi (or was it Punk?) visited the warehouse.

the physical hall of fame is coming, & it will mos likely be in orlando florida. in a moment i will justify orlando as a real wwe town. but as you may or may not know, wwe has a solid business partnership with nbc universal. nbc's universal studios park is in orlando, & was the home of tna/impact wrestling for the last eight (8) years. since impact is taking the show on the road & has pretty much severed ties with universal, wwe has already been in talks with nbc/universal about possibly using their property to house a hall of fame facility. i do not know if it is being considered as a universal studios theme park attraction though.

now, a look at why orlando is currently the obvious choice to erect a physical hall of fame:

recently, wwe has moved its developmental territory from tampa to orlando. nxt is thriving in orlando at the full sail "university" studios.

a majority of wwe talent live and/or vacation in & around orlando.

orlando mayor buddy dyer is a big advocate of the business opportunities that wwe brings/continues to bring to the city. his office has expressed interest specifically about bringing a wwe hall of fame to orlando

orlando has hosted a royal rumble & a wrestlemania. live smackdown & raw have both been held in orlando at least once a year each for the last several years, not to mention house shows as well.

the wwe championship & (wwe) world heavyweight championship have both changed hands in orlando (on a raw & at wrestlemania respectively)

the first ppv match ever between ric flair was held in orlando (for the wcw world heavyweight championship)

nxt (formerly fcw) has regularly put on house shows in orlando for the last few years, in addition to the recorded shows at full sail.

ive blabbed on for too long, & i apologize. but im SUPER excited and hope the deal doesnt fall through. all the stars have SEEMINGLY alligned for o-town to get the hall. way better than disney to me!

Should be a museum that incorporates the Hall of Fame
all the titles WWF/E,WCW amd ECW have ever used.
Pictures/Video/Sound Clips of classic bouts.
a room lined with bookshelves with every single PPV & WWE DVD/VHS ever produced
Pictures and maybe video clips of all the sets WWF has used over the years.
A Hologram room where you can relive classic moments LOL
A Room with all the arcade games/console games and be playable.

as for the HOF'ers, still kinda like a museum but a lifesize wax model of the HOF'er with audio narration, pictures and a synopsis like they have on the WWE Alumni page and there HOF inductee video plus there actuall award night and speech and ofcourse 1 or 2 of there most memorable matches or moments in the case of celebrities.

Undertaker's graveyard! A place with tombstones for each of Undertaker's WrestleMania victims, like what they did with WM Access a couple of years ago, but a lot bigger, with Undertaker theme and darkness, yeah!

The WWE restaurant in New York City had something like that. The table was like a modified casket and the chair I sat in made it look as if I was in Undertaker's lap. I kept worrying the chair would turn me upside down and deliver a Tombstone.

The decor of the whole place had a lot of the features you guys are talking about. It was like sitting in a wrestling ring, enjoying your favorite WWE characters while eating a lousy, over-priced, half-cooked burger.

Still, if the company wanted to design a theme-based Hall of Fame, they already know how to do it, based on their restaurant.

With everything you guys are naming that you would want, could you imagine how much that would cost and how big the building would have to be?? That would just make getting into the HOF building as a fan that much more expensive lol

A physical building would be pretty cool. It would attract fans from all over the world and would be very interesting to behold. Only problem is that it is very difficult to make it worth the trip. What can they really put in it that makes people want to go?

In my opinion, they should definitely make it part of Universal Studios. Not only will it help solidify their partnership with NBC Universal, but it will immediately get them some customers. People roaming around Universal Studios are always looking for interesting things to do, especially those who aren't there for the first time. If they can make the WWE Hall of Fame fun for kids, I can see a lot of parents shelling out cash to go check out the Hall of Fame.

I think WWE should model their Hall of Fame on Ripley's Believe it Or Not and Madam Tussauds' House of Wax museums. They should have various sections with different attractions, props, themes and information.

An Undertaker's graveyard will be very eerie and kids will enjoy it. The tombstones with everyone's names on it will be great to see, and dark LCD screens in the back with footage of Undertaker's biggest matches. They could also make the graveyard part of a bigger horror section with Papa Shango, The Boogeyman and Kane props. Maybe even some cheap scares every time you walk through the door.

An "ECW Room" would also be great. It would feature all of ECW's titles and props including hardcore weapons, with a bunch of information on what ECW was and footage from every single incarnation. They should have wax figures of guys like Paul Heyman, Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman and Rob Van Dam. Same thing goes for a WCW Room.

They should also add a Championship Hall where every single championship WWE has ever had are on the walls. They have about 30+ Championships, so I can see them covering up every single space with a title. Even North American title and the Women's Tag.

Also, I'd like to see an International section with all the flags of the countries WWE has visited with a huge map marked with WWE's visits. They could have figures of Antonio Inoki, Ivan Koloff, Yokozuna, Sheamus and others. Plus, a bunch of stats on WWE's international reach.

They could also have a bunch of mini-sections in between. Maybe a Highlight Reel with a Chris Jericho wax figure, where you can take a picture being interviewed by Jericho. A Diva's section, a D-Generation X section with their tons of merchandise, and a Celebrity wing with Celebrity inductees plus some Guest Hosts.

Also, let's not forget the most important part which would be the actual HALL with the inductees. Some highlights of their speeches would be great, plus wax figures and props for each one. It should be the biggest room and it should obviously be the main attraction.

Damn it Mustang Sally i would absolutely love a place like that where i live sadly there is no such place. But the whole idea behind the HOF actual HOF restaurant would kick ass. Takers old school gloves, his robe, wow it would have been cool if he did tombstone you.

But your right in saying if they did wanna do a place like that they know how to do it. But i just dont think it would work. The restaurant itself would be overpriced the wait for a table would be outrageous, and yes overcooked or undercooked burgers would not suffice.

With everything already mentined, the one thing I can add that I'd like to see is wax statues of Edge & Christian (for the benifit of those with flash photography) for a 5 second photo opp. Even better would be animatronic versions of them so they could have different 5 second poses throughout the day.

Sets from Piper's Pit and the old Funeral Parlor segments, old WWE and WCW title belts, LOD shoulder pads, Flair's robes, Savage's sun glasses, there are a lot of memorable props that would make for great exhibits in a physical HOF. I agree that wrestling as a whole isnt big enough for the HOF to exist as a stand alone entity in some tiny town like NFL & MLB, however I think it would do well in a major city that already stands as a tourist attraction, NY, Chi, LA, Atlanta, especially Las Vegas. People may not make a special trip just to see it but there are millions of wrestling fans from different ages who would visit if already there. In fact, I think for a lot of people it might be a deciding factor in picking a vacation spot

The Hall of fame would be great in New Jersey. If something could be worked out with Trump, he can take out one of his crappy casinos. The casino market is drying up and dying. There's sufficient land there, and they can add in restaurants, props, old sets, etc... it would make a lot of sense to put it in Atlantic City.

At Wrestlemania 22, they had pictures of the superstars hanging above on the set, all around the arena, just a few feet below from the roof - I'd like to see something similar for the HOF'ers in a WWE HOF building.

I couldn't get a full image of the arena, but this is what I mean.

I don't really care about anything else for a WWE HOF building, I just think this would be a nice touch for the building.

All of this sounds cool, but I like the wax figures idea; especially with Andre the Giant. This way you could see just how big the guy was and great for photo ops. I think it should also include digital stories, interviews, along with the figures just so you can understand the effect that they had on the business.

I could see a Flair one with his interviews from Georgia and NWA along with clips of his entrances with all the robes.
