In all honesty I didn't want to see this match again. But after that video package, I am stoked beyond words for it. It has a completely new feel and twist to it, a little darker and a littler more uneasy. Really looking forward to it now. If Shawn decides he's hanging em up, this would be the time.

My first serious girlfriend and I used to obsessively listen to their album Without You I'm Nothing. Good memories. The subtle emotional connection with the music may have be a bit overwhelmingly excited for this, but I don't care. I can't wait for Wrestlemania.

Yep, the same one from Raw and that they replayed on SD tonight. Straight up the best video package I've ever seen either Norcal man. That video package alone got me entirely fucking 110% emotionally invested in this match. Placebo helped.

It made me want to tear up a bit even, just becuase I was like "THIS is what its all about. This is what WM is supposed to be like. This is what I love." I felt like a kid again watching that video.
God damn fucking right. I know they like to put the world title matches on last, but in my opinion if this truly IS going to be HBK's last match, then it 100% needs to be the main event.
Either way, Wrestlemania this year can't come soon enough. Such a pleasant surprise because the last few Manias I've always just not really been into it as much as I felt like I should have been, but this year I'm really feeling Mania fever.
Ugh what the fuck man we have to wait 30 more days guys. This is going to suck.

The only worry I have is that Shawn will 'retire' and return to wrestle again. Nothing annoys me more in wrestling than wrestlers who do that. I never thought I'd want the streak ended, even last year, against my favourite wrestler of all time, I said The Undertaker should win. Now, however, when Shawn's career is on the line, I'm obviously NOT going to want Shawn to lose. Meaning The Undertaker has to lose the streak, or we get some draw-type ending.
If Shawn does lose, however, he can't return to wrestle. We should have the better-than-Flair's retirement ceremony Monday, ands maybe in a year or so, he could be a GM if he wanted to.

Yeah they should definitely have used the Placebo song, but I guess it isn't really cheery enough to be the main theme.
Main theme is pretty bad, what is it like Kevin Rudoff or some shit? Oh well, at least the WWE is finally starting to use some more varied kinds of music for their PPVs, about damn time.

It depends for me. For example, they could have just focused on the story aspect of it and forgot about TV ratings (PG, TV-14, etc) and gave us a great story. Or they could butcher it, trying to kid it down, thus making it nothing more than Cena in a match with Taker. HBK/Taker 2 is cool and all, but this could potentially be Taker's last WM and we likely will never get to see Taker take on Cena again.

To my knowledge, Cena has fought Taker like twice in seven years. Imagine if Cena were to break the streak and the heat he would get.
I have no interest in seeing Cena vs. Taker at Mania, because the ending is unbelievably predictable. The only person Taker could face and NOT have everyone and their mother know the ending to the match is HBK, and that's what they've done here. I have no interest in seeing Taker beat Cena at Mania, would achieve nothing.
Why exactly would the WWE want the biggest face in the company to get a ton of heat?

If there haven't been rumors of Taker's streak being broken, then why should I believe that HBK will break it this time just like I knew Taker was going to win it last year. HBK takes time off after every Mania anyways so if he beats Taker, it's not going to accomplish anything. I would understand if HBK has never beaten Taker, period but he has so I'm not going to bother with this match.
Everybody has been wanting Cena to turn heel for the longest time. Would be the greatest way to do it.
