I think booker winning is great on two fronts.1st,booker deserved to get a push since 2003(WM19)2nd,it was great cause rey didnt deserve his push(WM22) I think rey is a great wrestler,and i would have loved to see him be champ under the right circumstances,not because of eddie's death.He unintentionally de-valued the WHC because as a cruiserweight,they had to start calling it the world title so as no to make it obvious that he should never have been in contention for the title in the 1st place.

Orton shot himself in the foot by being an asshole backstage,thereby costing him the title,but they could have at least let Angle retain the title at WM.SD! is already seen as the weakest brand in the WWE,and thats why they let shit like this fly.Vince would never have let rey be world champ on RAW.

I doubt he'll ever be champ again,unless chavo dies of course(cruel joke,i know)he was just holding the belt till Batista came back! All hail king booker! and i know that him and dave are going to tear the house down at Summerslam!

^^^I totally agree there. The WM19match sucked badly. They made it sem like the biggest spectacle ever. It was VERY lame. Lesnar stole that night. But Booker aint been champ for almost 5 years so what will if anything he dO?

Everyone had to know that King Booker would end up beating Rey at the Bash. A long time overdue for a world title for Booker T. Everyone also knows that Booker T will run into Batista very soon. Probably at Summer Slam.

It just means that we now have Booker and Edge as champs. They are both deserving and great performers, but will get played for chumps at the top.
They both have to cheat to win and can never beat a face cleanly. It sucks. Why can't we have a doinating heel champ like Brock, Taker and The Rock used to be?

^ I agree. I think heel champions need to win cleanly. I know it may not be a part of their "style", but it is just a cheap way to get heat. We need dominating guys *ducks for cover* like Khali to be champion. I mean, Khali hasn't been in the business nearly as long as Booker T, but as long as they are "handing" out titles to undeserving champions, why not? I honestly would of rather seen Rey Mysterio lose the belt to The Great Khali, than Booker T. Everybody can say Booker is long overdue, but truth is - he's not. Booker T cannot carry his own as champion and without Sharmell, he's just a black man in a burger king crown wearing a robe. He has no character whatsoever. He was becoming very boring and stale, so what did the WWE do? They make a mockery of the King of the Ring tournament, just so Booker can get a push and brush-up his stale gimmick by giving him a robe and dubbing him a 'king'. Then they give him the world title after screwing up and giving it to light-weight, Rey Mysterio. All Booker ever said was "5 time" (5 times), "Can you did it/that?" and "Tell me you didn't just say that". Now he doesn't even say that anymore. What does he say now? Nothing really. He just walks around with his annoying "court" who yell "All hail, King Booker" over and over. People can say Booker T is overdue for a title run because he is over with the crowd and he has been in the business for a long time, but that doesn't make him a credible champion. Bottom line: People can claim Booker T deserves a title shot all they want because he has been loyal to the business. That's fine. However, the facts are: Booker T has only been in the WWE for 5 years, if this was a case of being in the company for a lengthy period, Hardcore should be a multiple-time champion now since he has been in the business for nearly 12 straight years. My point is, Booker T, despite being over, cannot hold his own as champion, especially without his court followers. He can't sell-out arenas and he is pretty stale. The king gimmick doesn't do it for me. If I want to see a "king" prance around in tights, I'll go rent 'Ready 2 Rumble.'

Well Taker hasn't had a World Championship since what 3 or 4 years ago. I would like it if he got another title shot before he retired. I hated when Taker was the "American Badass" I hate that song he had and his ugly ass old school motorbike.

Thank you! How true is that! I can't really buy Booker as WHC as he has mainly played a comedy character since arriving in WWE. But I think after his years in the business he deserves it. But It won't last long. Expect Bastia to get it back at Summerslam.
