Welcome to My (And Not Sly's) House
As many of you know, Cena and Orton spent a lot of the second half of 2009 exchanging the Raw world title. 2010 wasn't much better as a revolving door of champions held the belt. On Fridays it wasn't much better. Starting at Wrestlemania 23 (2007) when Undertaker beat Batista, the longest title reign in three and a half years was Undertaker at about four and a half months.
Then we hit the end of 2010 and saw Kane and Miz both win the world titles. Kane held his for five months and Miz held his for about the same amount of time. Both reigns were the longest for those titles in over three years (five in Kane's case).
What I want to know is is this the new norm? With Edge it seemed like he was heading for a longer run with the title, having held it nearly 4 months (not counting the about 8 minute reign of Ziggler). It looks as if Cena is going to hold the title for a good many months as well. Is this the new norm, or just a brief change?
