A New design for a New Undisputed Title?

Personally I've always been fan of the big gold belt, so having it still be included in the champion's title means a lot to me. However I can see them getting tired of doing the two belt thing, to me it adds to the image of the champ being the sole ruler of the WWE but there ya go. I do imagine instead of making a new championship they'll just retire big gold and move forward with the newer WWE title. I don't look forward to this happening but I have to imagine it's inevitable.

I agree they need only 1 belt, and I would love them to keep the big gold World Heavyweight Championship belt, as it's my favorite belt design ever.

however I don't think that they will just keep the new design. I think they will retire both designs at the same time and debut a new WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt. I also think it will be with in the next year... maybe a little after.

I would agree that they would just drop the World Heavyweight belt since the WWE belt is so new, if it wasn't for the fact that they appear to be evolving away from the old logo. the network logo is now on the NXT championship, as well as NXT's turnbuckles. It's on WWE's new corporate jet, as well as the logo for wrestlemania 31. It doesn't make since to evolve away from it but keep a championship belt with the old logo plastered largely on the front plate.

I don't anticipate a new design either. I think so long as Bryan is champ he will have both belts if for no other reason than to start the yes chant with a title in each hand. I think were looking at whomever the next champ is as the earliest we see a champ with only one belt.

Waste of time to debut a 3rd World Title Belt when you recently redid the WWE Championship. Id assume the Big Gold Belt heads to the warehouse.

There's no way they'll bring out a new belt when this one is barely a year old. What I could see them doing is changing one of the plates on the WWE title belt to say WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION and then getting rid of the big gold belt (temporarily). I know DB has the "YES" plate on there but there's room for a WWE world heavyweight championship plate.

Yes you do. It makes the title of being WWE WHC look more prestigious.

But prestige in a fake sport aside, they don't want to give up the sales of the Big Gold (it's the title most general fans will associate with pro wrestling), and they just introduced the new WWE Title last year.

Plus they weren't organized, and they sent out different belts to the pro athletes that post pics of them on Twitter, and I'm guessing they want publicity for both.

So I guess we'll get a new design once the Big Gold sales slow down. But I hope that's not for a long time, if ever. I really think the two belts thing is cool.

To me, it needs to be one belt: The classic 87-98 winged eagle. It has the right terminology on the belt, it is extremely classy, and it means something to every fan who grew up watching all the greats carry that belt. That's the one they should use.

When Bryan is fed to the beast Brock Lesnar they will debut a new title just because the wwe will do whatever they can to keep brock happy that is why Lesnar broke the streak. And besides just imagine Paul Heyman ranting about the title not being fit for the streak conquering, YES! movement crushing beast that is Brock Lesnar

If that leads to Brock bringing back the title he carried around back in 2003 I would be on board with that. That was the last great WWE Title along with the attitude era and winged eagle belt.

To me, the only reason they are still carrying around two title belts is because they're still not sure if they've done the right thing. That's how it comes across.

By carrying around both belts and still not introducing 'The Belt' (something that has been sorely lacking for too many years) they leave the option open to somehow separate the titles again..

I really hope that this does not happen, WWE have been going back to their roots in so many ways recently. WCW is a long time dead, the brand split is a distant memory. It's time for them to settle.

And while we're talking about titles, get rid of the US title already! I'm not even sure why Ambrose even bothers getting it out of his bag, he might aswell leave it at home!
