Because I have Raw & Nitro to post tomorrow, I shall be posting Raw before I go to uni in the morning, around 10 A.M (About 5.AM in America) Nitro will be posted tomorrow night sometime. I figured this was better than posting them both at the same time as it would give people a break between shows

14th January 2008
From Mobile, Alabama.

(A video package plays of Shawn Michaels sweet chin music to The Undertaker last week and Randy Orton looking cocky as raw went off the air.
Pyro fills the arena as the Raw theme music plays.)

JR: Hello ladies & Gentlemen welcome to Raw coming at you live from Mobile, Alabama and tonight we’re going to see the full time return of The Rock.

King: Yes we are, and he’s promised to kick MVP’s candy ass, but has he still got it after all this time?

JR: I don’t think there’s any doubt about that King, but we’ll see later.

(suddenly the Italian Opera Music begins & Santino Marella makes his way to the ring, with a smug look on his face and without Maria.)

Marella: (laughs...) Last week, I managed to destroy the monster that is Kane. Show the tape. (Video plays of Marella setting kane alight the previous week). He was on fire. The big red machine was no monster after our match, he was loser. But tonight, I want to give Big Red Man chance to get some revenge on a me! Santino Marella! So without further a do, i give a to you KAAAANNNEEEEEEE.

(Camera zooms on the entranceway..but nothing.)

Marella: KAAANNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!!!

(Still nothing. Marella begins laughing hysterically.)

Marella: Well because Kane doesn’t want to come here tonight he a is scared of Santino Marella, I will be taking his position in a the Royal Rumble.

Santino_Marella.jpg

(Marella walks back up the ramp laughing.)

(As Raw comes back from the commercial Big Daddy V is stood in the ring. Batista’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring.)

Batista v Big Daddy V

The Finish:
Big Daddy V prevented all Batista’s offence. Big V goes for the big splash, but Batista avoids it. He then hits Big Daddy V with a spear. As BDV gets up Batista hits a spinebuster and pins BDV 1....2.....3.

The Aftermath:
Batista celebrates in the ring and Big Daddy V hits him from behind with a very stiff chair shot. He then places the chair on Batista and Big Splashes him. BDV then walks away leaving Batista in the ring.

~Backstage Interview~

Maria: Shawn Michaels, Last week hit The Undertaker with the Super Kick, and tonight you have to face The Undertaker in a match, what are your thoughts.

HBK: Hmmm what are MY thoughts. Well the thing is, I have nothing but respect for The Undertaker but I was trying to send a message to Randy Orton & I guess The Undertaker was just in the wrong place in the wrong time; and if he’s in the same position at The Royal Rumble I will do it again, if it means I can get my hands back on the WWE Championship.

(The Great Khali walks in front of the camera in passing)

HBK: Hey!!

(Khali turns around and HBK nails him with the Sweet Chin Music and walks away).

Non-Title Match
The Edgeheads v Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes (c)

(Edge’s music plays and out comes Zack Rider & Curt Hawkins. They enter the ring in identical fashion to Edge. Hardcore Holly enters the ring next alone. Cody Rhodes makes his entrance again with Dusty Rhodes and to the American Dream music.)

The Finish:
Rider is out on the outside and Rhodes & Holly have Hawkins down in the ring. Rhodes lifts up Hawkins and holds his arms behind his back while Holly prepares for a dropkick. As Holly is about to go for the dropkick, Rhodes lets go of Hawkins and ducks out of the way. Holly lands on his back gets up and starts shouting at Rhodes asking him why he let go. Rhodes just keeps the blank look on his face. Holly turns around and Hawkins spears him. As he covers him 1....2...Rhodes casually breaks up the pin, hits Hawkins with an inverted DDT and covers him. Takes the belts of Mike Chioda, throws one over the chest of Holly and walks off. This time leaving Holly as the one down in the ring.

Winners by pin fall: Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes.

JR: King this situation between Holly & Rhodes is really putting those tag Titles in jeopardy and Rhodes pure paranoia there almost cost him and Holly the match and caused Holly to receive a spear.

(Back from the commercial & Matt Hardy is standing in the ring. JBL’s music hits and he comes out in his stretch limo. As he gets out of the limo we see the wound from the sledgehammer attack the previous week on Raw. He gets in the ring and the match begins.)

Royal Rumble Qualifying Match

The Finish:
After JBL dominating most of the match leaving Hardy bleeding, Hardy begins to make a comeback and gain some momentum. Hardy then goes to the top rope and as he comes off, JBL levels him with a clothesline from hell. Before he covers him, HHH’s music hits and he appears on the stage. JBL stares at The Game as he walks down the ramp with a sledgehammer in his hand. Hardy gets the roll up 1.....2.....but JBL kicks out. JBL continues the match but keeps looking at HHH nervously. JBL then is thrown against the ropes by matt and attempts another clothesline from hell but Matt ducks and JBL catches the ref. Not fully but enough to knock him down. HHH gets in the ring and as JBL turns around and see’s him HHH just smiles. Matt then goes at JBL from behind but JBL is able to dismiss of him easily. The Game then does his trademark pose with the sledgehammer and takes out JBL with it. Matt Hardy goes to the second rope and hits a leg drop (for no actual reason because he was knocked out anyway) Matt covers JBL as the ref comes round. 1.....2.....3

(HHH and Matt Hardy walk away separately leaving JBL in the ring on his back. Shane McMahon appears on the screen.)

Shane: You two guys are starting to piss me off. So what I’m going to do, is take you both out of the Royal Rumble. Instead you both think it’s your destiny to be WWE Champion? Well at The Royal Rumble it will be Triple H v JBL in a #1 contenders match.

Winner by pin fall: Matt Hardy

(Backstage MVP is in the lockeroom taping up and getting ready for his match. He looks towards one side of the lockeroom and just says “You ready??” laughs and carries on with his preparation)

(Shawn Michaels music plays and HBK comes out to a 75% positive reaction from the crowd. He makes his usual entrance as he enters the ring. Then the lights go out and the arena goes black....The Undertaker comes to the ring, with his slow walk and blue smoke. ‘Taker’s reaction is also positive.)

Shawn Michaels v The Undertaker

The Finish:
After a good quality match displaying Star Power what WWE has been missing, HBK begins to tune up the band while The Undertaker is down. He goes for the sweet chin music but Taker catches him, spins him around and lifts him up for the Last Ride. HBK wriggles out of it and converts it into a DDT. Suddenly The Great Khali appears and begins walking to the ring (on his own) Khali gets in the ring and attacks Shawn Michaels. The ref then calls for the bell.

Winner by DQ: Shawn Michaels.

The Aftermath:
He continues the onslaught onto The Heartbreak Kid. Randy Orton comes down to the ring laughing. He gets in the ring and delivers a kick to the guts of HBK. The Undertaker by now has began walking to the back, but turns around and runs back to the ring after some hesitation and fights of Khali. Orton escapes and runs back up the ramp. Khali retreats leaving The Undertaker & HBK in the ring. As HBK gets to his feet, The Undertaker lifts him up and delivers a Tombstone Piledriver. He then looks down remorselessly and leaves the ring.

Ashley’s music hits, and she comes out and salutes the crowd. She then runs down to the ring and is immediately ready for her opponent. Deuce & Domino come out next with Cherry who doesn’t have the Roller Boots on. Instead she is dressed to compete. Deuce, Domino & Cherry all stand across the ring from Ashley looking rather intimidating. Suddenly London & Kendrick’s music hits and they sprint down to the ring, bringing a smile to Ashley.

#1 Contenders Match Women’s title.
Ashley v Cherry

The Finish:
Everytime Ashley got any offence, Deuce & Domino would interfere. Eventually London & Kendrick attacked Deuce & Domino on the outside, they brawled into the crowd, leaving Ashley in the ring and Cherry with no help. Ashley hit a bulldog and covered Cherry 1....2....3.

Winner by pin fall: Ashley

(We cut to seeing MVP making his way out of the locker room, he turns around nods his head and closes the door. He then makes his way down the corridor.

JR: Well it’s time folks. The Rock making his full time return to the WWE, and it’s NEXT!

-Commercial-

(Tick Tock....MVP makes his way through his tunnel and towards the ring. He appears in a very different mood to last week. No longer looking sombre and apprehensive, he now is back to his cocky persona. He gets in the ring and takes the mic)

MVP: When I joined the WWE I was the highest earner and thus, became the WWE’s MVP. I then had to live up to that title and did exactly that. I am a former US Champion, I have also been WWE Tag-Team champion. Then this week I have heard people telling me I’m going to get my ass kicked who has been away from Wrestling for almost half a decade. Then on his return he lost to someone who is almost a pensioner. That’s why tonight, I guarantee that I can....

(If ya smeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll. That Rock appears to and the crowd go absolutely ballistic. He makes his way tot he ring in the hurried way that only The Rock can.)

The Rock v Montel Vontavious Porter

14th January
Tupelo, Miss

(The Nitro video plays and the Fireworks fill the arena.)

TS: Your watching WCW Monday Nitro and it’s coming from Tupelo and we’re in for a great night tonight. Last Week’s Nitro provided some truly memorable moments and went off the air with The Outsiders leaving Eric Bischoff in the middle of the ring. We’ve heard Bischoff will be here tonight and will no doubt dish out some punishment.

Brain: That’s right, Bischoff thought Hall & Nash had his back and he was banking on them winning him the WCW title.

TS: But as it happened, it was one of Ric Flair’s choices; Sting who walked away with the victory and became the new champion.

(Suddenly Eric Bischoff’s ,music hits and out he comes to a chorus of boo’s. He gets in the ring and snatches a microphone off the ring announcer.)

Bischoff: Now I’m not out here, to whine about what happened last week, despite being stabbed in the back by two has been’s who are more bothered about getting a cheap reaction from all of you lot rather than the prestige that goes with being WCW Champion. Well, Hall & Nash, you might want to listen to this. Tonight, I’m putting you two into a tag-team match against one of the greatest tag-teams in the history of professional wrestling. The thing is, if you two don’t win tonight you will both be fired.

(Bischoff drops the mic and walks away)

(Cut to Nash & Hall in the locker room)

Nash: Hmm, Scott, looks like this could be our last night on Nitro, What the hell will we do? A McMahon won’t hire us, we’re not really ECW material. Oh man, we’ve got to be more ready for this than for any other match in our lives......

(Hall nods then silence.....until they look at each other and burst out laughing.)

-Commercial-

(Generic heel music plays and out comes The Natural born Thrillers. They receive a highly negative reaction, but it doesn’t seem to bother them. They make their way to the ring, and all look as though they are dressed to compete. Harlem Heat music plays and Booker-T & Stevie Ray make their way down to the ring.)

Harlem Heat v Shawn Stasiak & Mark Jindrak w/ O’Haire & Palumbo.

(Just as the match is about to start, DDP’s music plays and he comes to stand at ringside to help Harlem Heat.)

The Finish:
Jindrak leaps to the top rope and hits a big diving bulldog on Stevie Ray. Booker gets in the ring to break up the pin but is soon jumped by Jindrak & Stasiak. Ray then manages to get back to his feet and take out Jindrak. Stasiak then lifts up Booker as though to hit a brainbuster, but Book lands back on his feet hits a scissor kick on Stasiak. Suddenly Mr. Kennedy comes out of nowhere and takes out Booker-T. The ref calls for a disqualification.

Winners by DQ: Booker-T & Stevie Ray (Harlem Heat)

The Aftermath:
The Natural Born Thrillers brawl with Stevie Ray & DDP on the outside and up the ramp leaving Mr.Kennedy in the ring with Booker-T laid out. Kennedy lifts up Booker and hits him with the Green Bay Plunge. He calls to the roof and his microphone drops.

Kennedy: Ladies & Gentlemen, get used to what you’re seeing, because at the Royal Rumble you will be seeing me stood alone again after I win the Royal Rumble. It will be the easiest victory too after I win my qualifying match and enter at #30. Booker-T this was just my way of showing you that you won’t see me coming, I can just appear and take you out. It is my destiny to become the WWE Champion because I am...MISTERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR KKKKEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDYYYYYYYYY..........................KKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE.................

(Suddenly the lights go out and the arena goes black; When the lights come back up Mr. Kennedy is staring at the entranceway, but CM Punk is stood behind him. As Mr. Kennedy turns around, CM Punk lifts him up to go for the Go To Sleep. Kennedy wriggles out of it and slides out of the ring. By now Booker-T has got up and delivers a Book-end to Punk. He then goes to the ropes encouraging Kennedy to go back to the ring.

-Commercial-

(Dean Malenko’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring. As he gets in the ring he takes a mic)

Malenko: What I did last week, I have wanted to do for so long now. I competed in the ring for over a decade be it in ECW, WCW or WWE and what did I get out of it? Nothing. I am without doubt the best technical wrestler in the history of business, I was a member of the IV Horsemen, and I made the most controversial switch from WCW to WWE ever when I moved with The Radicals. What a lot of people don’t know is, it was me that invented the dam Crossface. (Boo’s in the arena at the mention of Chris Benoit) Sure I was US Champion in WCW, and Television Champ in ECW but what the hell else did I ever get? I would be slugging away as a 200lb guy and always had to settle for the jackass titles, like Cruiserweight title or Light-Heavyweight title while all these 6’6 300lb guys can walk straight into the business and win titles left right & centre. (chants of Khali in the arena) Yeah! But then a couple of years ago Rey Mysterio became the World Heavyweight Champion. I just want to prove to the world that he aint got nothing on me, that’s why I attacked him last week, so I can prove to you all that I am the best light wrestler in the world still!

(Mysterio’s music hits and he gets an excellent reception, he keeps his eyes focused on Malenko all the way to the ring.)

Rey Mysterio v Dean Malenko

The Finish:

After a back and forth match which included high flying offence by Mysterio & mat wrestling offence by Malenko.

06.jpg

Mysterio went to Irish Whip Malenko, but Malenko reversed. As Rey came off the ropes malenko rolled him through into the Texas Cloverleaf. Mysterio grabs the ropes and the ref tells Malenko to break the hold. Malenko lets go thinking he’s won until the referee tells him what’s actually happened. Before Malenko can turn back around, Mysterio dropkicks him onto the middle rope in position for the 619. Mysterio swings around the ropes to attempt it, but Malenko ducks as Mysterio is regaining his composure, Malenko rolls him up and grabs the tights 1...2.....3.

Winner by pin fall: Dean Malenko.

The Aftermath:
Malenko quickly dives out of the ring and makes his way out through the crowd. Mysterio gets up and looks for Malenko up the ramp only to see he isn’t there. Mysterio kicks the bottom rope in anger and the camera cuts to Malenko in the crowd laughing as we cut to a commercial.

-Backstage Segment-

Nash and Hall are in their locker room again. Nash is doing stretches but not really stretching that much as he’s cheating with them by bending his leg etc and Hall is lifting bottles like dumbbells. They are both doing it completely satirical and show they’re not taking it all that serious.

TS: Well it seems that Nash & Hall are not really bothered by Bischoff’s threat to fire them if they lose tonight, but what we all want to know is who are their opponents?

Brain: They say it’s the best tag-team in the history of Sports Entertainment, but who?

TS: Yeah, but right now we have the cruiserweight champion in action.

(Kidman’s music hits and he comes out, high fiving the crowd and interacting with as many of them as possible. Rule Britannia plays as William Regal, Finlay & Drew Mcintyre make their way out to a chorus of boos. )

Billy Kidman v William Regal.

The Finish:
Kidman gets to the ropes to break up and STF by Regal. As Kidman is getting to his feet Regal hits him with a big running knee. He then sets Kidman up for a double underhook powerbomb. As he lifts him up, Kidman reverses it into a hurracanrana. Kidman goes to the top rope. As Kidman is climbing, Regal gets the Brass Knuckles out of his tights. The ref see’s this and goes to take them off him. While the ref is seeing to Regal, Finlay hits Kidman with the Irish Flag whilst he’s on the top rope. Kidman falls to the mat and Regal, pulls him into the centre of the ring and this time hits the Underhook Powerbomb and pins Kidman for the win 1...2....3

Winner by pin fall: William Regal

The Aftermath:
Finlay & McIntyre get in the ring and Finlay lifts up Kidman before hitting him with the Emerald Fusion. They roll Kidman out of the ring and once again stand in the ring holding up their nation’s flags.

-Commercial-

TS: This team of Brits have made an impact for the second week in a row and we still don’t know what their purpose is here on Nitro. But one person whose purpose we do know is Sting. The newly crowned WCW Champion is in action next.

(A video shows of Sting winning the WCW title the week before. Then a blackout in the arena {second of the night} and Sting appears at the top of the ramp when the lights come back up. He makes his way to the ring with the crowd loving it. He gets in the ring and doesn’t bother with a mic to talk he just takes off his coat and is ready for his opponent. Charlie Haas’ music hits and he comes out for his WCW debut. The crowd don’t really give him a reaction one way or the other.)

Sting v Charlie Haas:

The Finish:
Haas showed resistance to Sting and managed to reverse a lot of the champ’s offence. Haas manages to reverse the scorpion death drop and kicks the back of Sting’s legs to trip him. Sting then gets up and Haas attempts a dropkick, but Sting catches his legs puts him back down on his back, and locks him in the Scorpion Death Lock, forcing Haas to tap.

The Winner by pin fall: Sting.

The Aftermath:
Sting is in the ring with his coat and baseball bat when Sid comes out of the crowd and attacks Sting from behind. The two brawl until Sid runs at Sting. Sting ducks and clotheslines Sid over the top rope. Ric Flair’s music hits and he appears on the stage:

Flair: Woooooooo! Sid, you want a piece of Sting so bad. You’ve got it! At the Royal Rumble you get a shot at the WCW title. But starting next week, if i see you lay a finger on Sting before the Royal Rumble, you will forfeit the match. Wooooooo!

(Sid then sneaks up behind Sting and hits him in the back of the head with the WCW title belt. He then poses with the belt before laying it on the chest of Sting and walking away)

(I’m back and better than ever, got a .....Bischoff comes out with a smug look on his face, and with a microphone in hand.)

Bischoff: I forgot to mention earlier that tonight’s match; is a lumberjack match.

(Most of the roster makes its way to the ring. All the heel’s & a few of the smaller faces such as the Cruiserweights, Highlanders, Booker-T etc.)

(The Outsiders music hits and Nash & Hall appear on the stage. They make their way to the ring as always looking cool & cocky, and not particularly bothered by what could happen.)

Bischoff: Now time for the guys that are going to put these two away for good I give to you The Hart Foundation.

Brain: I thought it was suppose to be the greatest tag-team in history.

TS: There’s no doubt that The Original Hart Foundation were one of the best forces in WWE history, but these two guys have only had one match.

(The Hart Foundation 2.0 make their way to the ring once again accompanied by Bret, The Anvil & Jimmy Hart.)

DH Smith & Teddy Hart v Kevin Nash & Scott Hall

The Finish:
This is a match which could make the young Hart’s. Amazing offence accompanied by great response from the crowd. Both teams getting a good reaction. The finish came when Smith tried to pick up Nash for a running powerslam but Nash got out of it and managed to hit Smith with a jacknife powerbomb. 1.....2......3. The Outsider’s are keeping their job. All the faces who are surrounding the ring celebrate with Nash & Hall.

Winners by pin fall: Nash & Hall

Bischoff: Wait, wait, wait!!!! I believe I also forgot to mention that this was a....erm...gauntlet match, and your next match is against The Highlanders!!

Nash & Hall v The Highlanders

The Finish:
The Outsiders quickly get on the offence. The finish happened when Hall hit The Razor’s edge on Robbie 1...2.....3.

Winner by pin fall: Nash & Hall

Bischoff: Chuck, Sean, get in there and let’s get this match restarted.

Nash & Hall v The Natural Born Thrillers (Palumbo & O’Haire)

The Finish:
Palumbo comes out of nowhere with a super kick to Kevin Nash laying him out. The two then attack Scott Hall and begin beating down on Hall. Nash eventually gets back to his feet and delivers a big boot to Palumbo to a massive pop from the crowd. Big Sexy then lifts up Sean O’Haire and plants him with a Jacknife and covers him 1....2....3.

Winners by pin fall: Kevin Nash & Scott Hall

(Eric Bischoff begins kicking the ring and the barriers and everything else around it. He then gets in the ring as all the rest of the roster who were surrounding the ring get in the ring to celebrate with Nash & Hall. As everyone is getting out of the ring
Scott Steiner rolls up Scott Hall and Bischoff counts 1....2.....3! Bischoff then rings for the bell and dives out of the ring and begins laughing.)

The winners by pin fall: The Steiner Brothers

TS: The Outsiders have just lost their jobs thanks to the dam Eric Bischoff!!

(The Crowd fill the arena with endless booing and begin throwing things at Bischoff and The Steiner’s. Nitro goes off the air with Nash and Hall stood in the ring not believing what has just happened.)

27.jpg

I thought that was good although it seemed as though there were people turning up and interfering for seemingly no reason, i.e. CM Punk, Sid.

And I just wouldn't mention Benoit- not really needed.

All in all, not bad, I'd give it B-.

Yeah, I can understand what you mean about Benoit.

The only reason I had CM Punk was to try and enhance the triple threat situation into the Royal Rumble.

Sid interfered to set up the title match.

But thanks for the feedback anyway.

I liked it. The only thing that bothered me is that The Outsiders appeared to have lost their job. You can't have Nitro without them so I hope the ycome back. All in all it was another great show and I can't wait for ECW

I really don't want to give anything away but at the same time I don't want people to stop reading so as just a small spoiler, maybe we haven't seen the last of The Outsiders??????????? or have we??????????? Only one way to find out...keep reading

this is great. I love the way you have brought back both WCW and ECW instead of having just SD! and WWECW like most of the other Book This Fed's do.

Overall i'd give it a 8/10

cheers, appreciate the feedback. Keep reading and let's see if I can get that 8 up to a 10. Big Plans for Wrestlemania, so get ready

This is really good stuff, actually very similar to something i was writing not long ago. the one thing i must comment on is the decision to put wcw and raw on the same night. I would put nitro on a tues or a Wednesday (probably a Wednesday) due to the fact that i beleive that nitro and raw shouldnt compete with each other if they are both the same company. Keep up the good work

To be honest I was considering changing the day of one of the shows. Think it will perhaps be Nitro, but I'm not so sure to which day yet.

Glad you like it

From Syracuse, New York.

A Video package of Rhyno winning the ECW title the previous week shows before the camera whips around the inside of the arena showing the hyped up fans.

JS: “Welcome to ECW, and after last week’s events by Taz he will be teaming up with the ECW champion tonight to face RVD & Sabu. Not only that, but also the Dudleys will be able to get their hands on the bWo in a 6-man tag team match

Foley: The main event is set to be excellent, Rhyno & Taz teaming up will be a real force to be reckoned with.

(We’re coming down....The Dudleys make their way out once again dressed in the tie dye and big glasses like they used to. They stop half way down the stage and look at each other, as they turn around out comes Spike. The three then get in the ring and await their opponents. The screen goes blue, in the same way the screen used to go black & white for nWo, and Stevie Richards accompanied by Nova & The Blue Meanie, make their way out. Meanie with the typical Scott Hall walk, Richards copying the Kevin Nash mannerisms and Nova ripping off Hollywood Hogan.)

Bubba Ray, D-Von & Spike Dudley v Nova, Stevie Richards & Blue Meanie (bWo)

The Finish:
Richards aims a super kick at Bubba Ray, but he ducks and hits him with big elbow. Blue Meanie & Nova then get in the ring and go for Bubba. D-Von & Spike also get in the ring and it becomes a free for all. Spike keeps Nova occupied on the outside. Richards is still down from the elbow by Bubba. D-Von gets a table and set sit up in the ring while Bubba & The Blue Meanie brawl in the ring. The Dudleys then hit a 3-D on the Meanie who rolls out of the ring as he’s put through the table. D-Von goes to the ropes and begins to shout at him. Richards then makes a miraculous recovery and rolls up Bubba with the tights for the win.

Winners by pin fall: The Blue World Order ; bWo.

-Commercial-

(Backstage The Dudleyz are walking down the corridor. Bubba is obviously pissed off. Then from nowhere the bWo attack them and start beating them backstage with chairs leaving them laid out in the corridor.)

(Cut back to Joey Styles)

JS: That’s not what ECW is about. We don’t do sneak attacks, and Stevie Richards and his blue World order will have a lot to answer to.

Foley: Ye I expect Paul. E will have some stern words for them.

(Colt Cabana’s music hits, and he comes walking from behind the curtain. He has dropped the smiley face singlet for a plain one [under instruction from Douglas no doubt] and is no longer dancing about and acting like a joke.

23.jpg

Shane Douglas accompanies him to the ring and keeps Cabana looking serious, not letting him step out of line. Al Snow’s music hits and Snow runs down to the ring and slides straight in and attacks Cabana.

Colt Cabana v Al Snow.

The Finish:
Snow has the upper hand and keeps reversing Cabana’s holds. An excellent mat wrestling contest which is even appreciated by the hardcore ECW fans. Snow dropkicks Cabana towards the ropes where Douglas is. Douglas slaps Cabana like he kept doing last week. Cabana looks angry and Snow rolls him up......1.....2....Cabana kicks out and hits a running DDT on Snow. He then performs the Colt 45 on Snow and pins him 1....2.....3.

Winner by pin fall: Colt Cabana

(Just like last week Douglas prevents Cabana from celebrating and orders him straight up the entrance ramp.)

(CM Punk’s music hits and the straight edge superstar appears from behind the curtain. He makes his way to the ring with the Television Title. Elijah Burke then makes his way to the ring for his debut on the new ECW. The crowd are split 50-50. Half with a negative reaction as he is a heel. Half with respectful applause due to him being a young wrestler with potential. )

CM Punk v Elijah Burke.

The Finish:
CM Punk has Burke on the floor and lifts him up to set him up for the GTS. As he tosses Burke over Burke somehow manages to grab Punk’s head and hit a DDT, which gets a huge pop from the crowd. Burke dives outside and grabs a chair. Punk slowly gets up in the turnbuckle in perfect position for the Elijah Express. Burke runs at Punk with the chair, but Punk dodges it leaving Burke hitting his knees on the chair against the turnbuckle. Punk then does hit the GTS and pins Burke 1...2....3

Winner by pin fall: CM Punk.

The Aftermath:
Punk regains his composure and gets his belt off the referee. He then offers Burke a hand, which Burke accepts and gets up with the help of CM Punk. Punk stands on the middle turnbuckle to salute the crowd when Mr.Kennedy comes out of nowhere and attacks Punk. Punk is still on the middle rope, So Kennedy puts him on his shoulders and hits the Green Bay Plunge. Kennedy leaves Punk in the ring and walks away.

-Commercial-

JS: What the hell was a WWE “superstar” doing here on ECW to attack one of our wrestlers.

Foley: It wasn’t on Joey, and I get the feeling we may be seeing more guys from WWE/WCW here before the Royal Rumble.

JS: But up next we’ve got the ECW Tag-Titles on the line!!

(Axl Rotten & Balls Mahoney appear on the stage with steel chairs in hand. They make their way to the ring giving high fives to the crowd. The Impact Players come out next accompanied by Dawn Marie. They pose on the stage and then make their way to the ring to allow the match to begin.)

ECW Tag-Team Title
Lance Storm & Justin Credible w/ Dawn Marie (Impact Players) v Axl Rotten & Balls Mahoney

The Finish:
Storm had Rotten in the single leg crab, only for Mahoney to reach for one of the chairs and throw it at Storm while he had the hold locked in. Storm & Incredible then attacked Balls knocking him to the outside. Rotten reaches the chair but Dawn Marie grabs the chair and the two struggle. Eventually Rotten gets a hold of it and as he stands up with it and turns around Storm hits a running wheel kick to kick the chair in his face. Storm then leaps over the top rope to further take out Mahoney whilst Justin Credible manages to hit a Tombstone Piledriver on Rotten and cover him for the pin 1....2.....3

Winners by Pinfall: The Impact Players

JS: Wow, Jimmy Yang making a great impact here on ECW tonight. He looked great

Foley: He certainly did Joey and that last match was excellent. But I hear coming up soon we’ve got a Royal Rumble qualifying match.

JS: That’s right, a triple threat match to determine who else will represent the ECW brand at the Royal Rumble.

-Commercial-

(Mikey Whipwreck’s music hits and he comes out with the flame red hair and black & lime attire. He gets a good reaction from the crowd. Masato Tanaka also enters to a positive reaction. Then Tommy Dreamer’s music hits and he makes his way out for his re-debut on the new ECW. Before the match starts Shelton Benjamin hits the ring and takes out Dreamer followed by Raven who attacks Tanaka and Tajiri who goes after his former partner Mikey Whipwreck. Paul Heyman’s music plays and he appears on the stage.)

Heyman: You six better just stop there! I will not have this on ECW, so instead of a triple threat match. It’s going to be a 6-man tag match and the winning team will all qualify for the Royal Rumble!

Mikey Whipwreck, Masoto Tanaka & Tommy Dreamer v Raven, Tajiri & Shelton Benjamin.

The Finish:
After a while the match becomes nothing more than just a free for all. No more legal tags just a 6-man brawl with all 6 trying to hit their finishing move. Dreamer DDT’s Benjamin in the ring, but Tajiri gets in the ring and kicks him in the back of the head. He then hits him with the kick to the face wile he’s down. He goes for the pin 1....2....Whipwreck comes off the top rope and lands on Tajiri to break it up. Whipwreck hits the inverted neckbreaker on Tajiri but is soon attacked by Raven who hits the Raven-Effect. Dreamer gets back up and hits the Dreamer Driver on Tajiri. As Dreamer gets up in the corner Benjamin hits the splash in the corner. He hits a T-Bone and pins Dreamer 1...2....3

Winners by pin fall: Qualifying for the Royal Rumble: Raven, Tajiri & Shelton Benjamin.

JS: Oh man, how ironic that the three guys who were in the match to qualify, none of them have qualified!!!....But up next RVD & Sabu teaming up again to face Rhyno and the man who cost RVD that title; Taz!

-Commercial-

JS: The waiting’s over Mick, It’s main event time

Foley: and I think RVD & Sabu will be on top of their game tonight.

(Rhyno’s music hits and the ECW champion makes his way out holding up the title belt. He makes his way to the ring and waits for his Tag team partner....”Survive if I let you!!!!” Taz appears complete with his towel. The two don’t interact with each other in the way a tag-team would, Taz does however keep focusing on the ECW Championship belt. RVD & Sabu then appear through the curtain accompanied by Bill Alfonso. The four men all stand in the ring in a big confrontation before RVD goes straight for Taz.)

Taz & Rhyno v Rob Van Dam & Sabu

The Finish:
RVD & Sabu have the momentum when RVD calls for a chair to be thrown into the ring. RVD & Sabu both go to pick the chair up together and argue over who should have it. RVD Eventually ends up with the chair but turns around only to have the chair punched into his face by Taz, who follows it up with a big T-Bone. Taz pins RVD 1....2.....But Sabu breaks up the cover. As Sabu gets back up Rhyno connects with a Gore. But Taz gets down and pins Sabu 1...2....Rhyno pulss Taz off Sabu and the two argue. By now RVD is up. He throws a chair at Taz followed up by a spinning kick to Rhyno. RVD goes up to the top rope and hits a 5-Star on Rhyno and pins him 1....2.....3

Winners by pin fall: RVD & Sabu

After the match RVD & Sabu continue to argue about the previous incident until Taz makes his way up and joins the confrontation. Paul Heyman’s music hits and walks with a purpose down to the ring with a microphone in hand. He steps into the ring and makes the three guys go into different corners. Rhyno is still getting up in the fourth.

Heyman: You four are starting to piss me off! Now I have a match to fill at The Royal Rumble, so it will be Rhyno defending the ECW World Title against RVD, Sabu & Taz in a Four-Way Dance!

(Heyman drops the mic and walks away leaving the four title competitors staring each other down as ECW goes off the air)

At The Royal Rumble the ECW Championship on the line:

Rhyno (c) v Taz v Rob Van Dam v Sabu

Quick announcement concerning the days of the shows.

Raw, will still be a Monday
Nitro, will now be on a Tuesday
ECW shall stay on a Thursday

I loved ECW. The Main Event For the ECW title is one I would Pay to watch but I guess that I'll have to settle for readin it. :p Also I think Moving Nitro to a different day wasa good idea. Plus I can't wait to see whaat happens with The Outsiders.

Unfortunately, the upcoming Royal Rumble will be the last event.

My schedule is very busy due to being a journalist and I spend all my time writing, therefore I just do not have the time to continue this. I have all next weeks shows up & I'm just finishing the Royal Rumble match off.

I will be putting one more thing up after the Rumble, which will be the main event of Wrestlemania as I have it all planned out. I really enjoy the creativity of doing this, but I just no longer have enough opportunity.

21st January
Hampton, Virginia

(A video plays of HBK hitting The Undertaker with the Sweet Chin Music two weeks ago, followed by The Undertaker’s Tombstone to Shawn Michaels last week. The pyro then goes off in the arena as the Raw music & intro video play)

JR: Ladies & Gentlemen Hampton, Virginia joins us in welcoming you to Monday Night Raw and tonight we have two huge Tag-Team matches after the events of last week.

King: That’s right JR, The Rock, John Cena & Batista all teaming up against MVP, Mark Henry & Big Daddy V was set up after MVP’s new ‘associates’ jumped The Rock last week.

JR: As well as that, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels & Randy Orton will all pick a partner for a 3-way Tag match as we have just two weeks until the Royal Rumble. But up first another big Tag-Team match with the Tag-Team championship on the line.

King: Yes, and tonight Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly will really have to get along, because if there’s any mishaps tonight, they will lose them Tag-Team titles.

(Ameeeeeeerican Dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeam..Cody Rhodes makes his way out with Dusty in tow carrying his Tag-Team title belt. He gets in the ring and takes the belt off his dad. As he’s about to lift it up to the crowd, Hardcore Holly’s music hits and he disrupts Rhodes pose. He makes his way to the ring and begins a discussuion with Cody whilst they await their opponents....Edge’s music hits and out come The Edgeheads without Edge, They both do Edge’s trademark entrance as they enter the ring and without getting ready for the match to start they go straight for Holly who is still talking with Rhodes.)

WWE Tag-Team Title Match
Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes (c) v Kurt Hawkins & Zack Rider

The Finish:
Holly lifts up Rider for the Alabama Slam, but Rider wriggles out of it. Then while Hawkins distracts the ref, Rider reaches into his boots and gets a handful of powder what he throws in Holly’s eyes. Rhodes comes in the ring and clotheslines Rider. He then puts his hand on Holly’s shoulder and because Holly can’t see he hits Rhodes in the face. Hawkins then hits Rhodes with a missile dropkick off the top rope and goes for the pin 1....2......but Dusty Rhodes puts Cody’s foot on the bottom rope. Holly clears his eyes and realises where he is, picks up Hawkins and hits him with the Alabama slam. He covers him 1.....2.....Rider tries to break up the pin but Rhodes holds him back.....3!!

Winners by pin fall & still Tag-Team Champions: Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes.

The Aftermath:
Dusty Rhodes gets in the ring with both Tag-Team belts and hands them to Cody & Holly. Rhodes keeps looking at the belt and then at Holly as if he’s going to hit him with the belt. He then makes his hand into a fist. This is it, this is the Young Rhodes’ heel turn, after all the mishaps he’s finally going to turn on Holly.......but he just gets out of the ring and walks away. Looks like Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly’s partnership will live to fight another day.

(A replay shows of Holly & Rhodes title defence, followed by the aftermath. We then see backstage Cody & Dusty Rhodes walking down the corridor, and Holly trying to get his attention to explain about the powder, Rhodes just ignores him and keeps on walking.)

-Commercial-

JR: Once again King, Cody Rhodes suffered at the hands of Hardcore Holly, but again they managed to get the win and keep the titles.

King: Yes, but I want to know how long it’s going to be before Rhodes flips and turns on Hardcore Holly, it’s imminent.

(Santino Marella’s music hits in the arena and he appears to a chorus of boo’s. He slowly walks to the ring enjoying the adulation of the fans as if they are cheering him. He waves and thanks them for their support. He gets in the ring and picks up a microphone.)

Marella: Well, I am-a Santino Marella, your WWE rep-a-resentative for the Rooooooooyal Ruuumble. I managed to do some-a-thing that no one else has ever been able to do. The Rock couldn’t manage it, Shawn Michaels couldn’t manage it and most of all The Undertaker couldn’t manage it. But I could, I managed to get-a-Kane out of WWE, and because of that I got my Royal Rumble place, and I will win-a-the Royal Rumble. But tonight I have match so sit back, and enjoy watching your next WWE champion.

(London & Kendrick’s music hits & Brian Kendrick sprints down to the ring in his usual fashion. As the match is about to start, Commissioner Foley’s music hits and he appears on the stage with a microphone.)

Foley: Marella, You have entered yourself into the Royal Rumble, yet you haven’t actually won a match to qualify, so this match is now a Royal Rumble qualifying match!!

Royal Rumble Qualifying match:
Santino Marella v Brian Kendrick w/ Paul London.

The Finish:
Kendrick has the offence early on, but is soon stopped by Marella who has the advantage for the rest of the match. Marella lifts up Kendrick to go for a vertical suplex, but Kendrick rolls through and gets the 1.....2.....Marella kicks out. Kendrick then dives over the top of Santino and hits a reverse DDT and a standing moonsault. 1...2.....Marella kicks out again. Kendrick goes to the top rope and waits for Marella to get up. He then hits the diving cross body which Marella rolls through 1....2.....3

Winner by pin fall: Santino Marella.

(Marella collects his jacket and leaves up the ramp)

-Backstage-

(Maria is stood with Mr. Kennedy.)

Maria: So Mr. Kennedy tonight you have a match against Jeff Hardy, but Booker-T has said he will be here tonight, does that bother you?

Kennedy: Does that bother me? That some overpaid, overrated has been has said he will show up here tonight? Of course not, because if you are forgetting I am the man that’s going to the Royal Rumble to win the triple threat match and then get the number 30 spot in the Royal Rumble and become the next WWE Champion because I am Misterrrrrrrrrrrrr Kennnnnnnnnnnnne...

(Santino Marella interrupts after his previous match with Kendrick.)

Marella: I believe you will find I am the man going to Wrestle-a-mania after winning the Royal Ruuumble. Come on my-a-Maria let’s go

(He then grabs Maria and they walk off leaving Mr. Kennedy looking puzzled.)

Kennedy: Miiiiiiiiiisssssssssssttttttttttttttttttttteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrr KKeeeeeeeeeeen.....

(The Rock shows up on camera and just looks at Kennedy takes the mic away from Kennedy)

Rock: If ya smeeeellllllllllllllll what The Rock is cookin’ (leaves then comes back).......cookin!

(Huge cheer and laughter from the crowd as The Rock walks off. Kennedy just looks at The Rock and walks in the opposite direction.)

(Cut back to JR & King at ringside)

King: Haha, did you see that JR? The Rock just humiliated Mr. Kennedy!

JR: I did King, but I also saw Santino Marella man handling his so called girlfriend Maria, and that’s no way to treat a woman!

(Jeff Hardy’s music hits and he comes out to an excellent crowd reaction, his pyro goes up to the ceiling and he makes his usual mysterious way to the ring. Miiiiiiiiiiiiiisssssssssteeeeeerrrrrrr Kennedy!!!!! Kennedy comes out and proceeds with his cocky strut to the ring, he gets in the ring goes face to face with Hardy and the match begins)

Jeff Hardy V Mr. Kennedy
The Finish:
Jeff set Kennedy up for the twist of fate, but Kennedy spun out of it and hit hardy with a stiff clothesline. Booker-T’s music hit and Kennedy went over to the ropes to confront Booker-T when he came out, but he didn’t come out, as Kennedy turned back around Hardy was still down but CM Punk lifted up Kennedy hit the Go2Sleep. Leading to the referee calling for the bell.

Winner by DQ: Mr. Kennedy

The Aftermath: Punk got on the middle rope to celebrate taking out Kennedy. Hardy then got up and confronted him. Hardy quickly got up to the top rope and hit a swanton bomb and shook hands with CM Punk. As the two left together, we just saw Kennedy getting up in the ring. He was on his knees when Booker-T came from the crowd and hit a scissors kick, he then just walked away leaving Kennedy sprawled out in the ring.

-Commercial-

(MVP’s music hits and he appears accompanied by Mark Henry & Big Daddy V.)

JR: Well King, it looks like it’s time for our 6-man tag team match, and here comes MVP, and just like last week he has them two monsters by his side. I don’t think things are looking good here for The Rock.

(John Cena’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring to a 50/50 split crowd. Batista’s music plays next and he gets a slightly better reaction, about 70/30 positive.

batista.jpg

Batista & Cena stand in the ring toe-to-toe with Henry & Big Daddy V, with MVP lurking in the background.....If ya smeeeeeeeeeeeellll The Rock comes through the curtain, walking with a purpose and sliding in the ring he makes a bee-line for MVP only to be stopped by Henry & V.)

The Rock, John Cena & Batista v Big Daddy V, MVP & Mark Henry
The Finish:

Cena & MVP work both of the match but Henry & V are used for quick tags to add a dominating effect on the opponents. Cena eventually gets the tag to Batista who comes in and takes out all three men with a spear, spinebuster and big clothesline. The Rock then follows and picks up MVP, he whips him against the ropes and hits him with the spinebuster in place for the People’s elbow. Cena manages to then pick up Henry on his shoulders and hits an F-U (just) Big Daddy V then takes out Cena with a clothesline, but turns around into a spear by Batista. By now, The Rock is fed up of everyone blocking his chance of a people’s elbow, so when the ring finally clears he hits a people’s elbow on MVP and pins him 1....2.....3 for the clean win.

Winners by pin fall: The Rock, John Cena & Batista.

The Aftermath: The ring clears leaving Cena, Batista & The Rock. Cena gets a microphone

Cena: Man, that was amazing (waits for cheers, but is jeered heavily) I want to take this opportunity to throw my hat into the Royal Rumble! (more boo’s) And there is no one else in that Rumble who will be able to touch me.

Batista: Well, John, if you remember back a couple of years, there was a Rumble which only us two were left and look how that finished!! ( Batista then pushes the mic back at Cena and leaves the ring)

Cena: Well then Rock, I was thinking, if me and you draw similar numbers, how about we work together, eliminate the crap and then leave the two most electrifying men in sports entertainment to go toe-to-toe, what do you say Rock?

(The Rock looks at Cena & smiles, Cena offers out his hand which The Rock shakes. As Cena walks away, The Rock doesn’t let go turns Cena around and hits him with a Rock-Bottom. The crowd go wild, and there’s about a 90/10 positive reaction for The Rock, who just walks away after posing for the crowd on the turnbuckle and pointing to the Wrestlemania sign in the rafters.)

-Commercial-

(The Rock is walking past Michael Cole backstage who appears to have gone back to his old role)

Cole: rock...Rock...ROCK!! I was wondering if I could just get some reaction to your match? (Rock nods) Why did you just F-U John Cena, when he was trying to help you?

Rock: Well, the thing is what you have to understand is that The Rock has nothing againsy John Cena, but The Rock has learned not to trust anybody. Therefore The Rock will walk into the Royal Rumble alone, The Rock will throw as many men over the top rope as it takes. Mr. Kennedy...Kennedy, Santino Marella, anyone from WCW, the whole of ECW the Rock will then walk out of the Royal Rumble and on to wrestlemania to become the new WWE Champion If ya smelllllllllllllllllllllllllalalalala what The Rock.....is.......(Mr Kennedy interrupts takes the mic off The Rock)

Kennedy:..........KKKKKKKKKEEEEEEENNNNNNNEEEEEDDDDDDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!

(This time it’s The Rock who is left looking bemused.)

JR: Well King, it seems that The Rock may have met his match when it comes to walking around saying what he wants when he wants.

King: That’s correct JR, haha Kennedy!!

(We now see Carlito in the ring ready for action eating an apple, TIME TO PLAY THE GAME!!! Triple H makes his way to the ring and Carlito looks shellshocked, HHH gets in the ring and unleashes on Carlito.)

Triple H v Carlito
The Finish:
Carlito sends HHH against the ropes and as he comes back he hits a facebuster on Carlito, Carlito spins around and turns straight into a pedigree by The Game. HHH poses and is about to pin Carlito when JBL’s music hits and his Limo appears on the stage. The camera pans around waiting for him to get out. The door opens and out gets a random-looking generic white man dressed as JBL. Carlito is up by now and turns HHH around who immediately tries to take out Carlito. Carribean Cool ducks and JBL is there to hit the clothesline from hell onto the game.

Winner by DQ: Triple H.

The Aftermath:
JBL & Carlito continue to beat down on HHH. Carlito hits a backstabber & JBL another clothesline. The two then leave separately, not showing any signs of an alliance just Carlito being there at the right time to take out HHH.

-Commercial-

(Randy Orton’s music hits and out comes the WWE champion. He has his cocky walk back and he slides into the ring. He then awaits the music of his Tag-Team partner......The Bollywood like music plays and The Great Khali slowly walks through the curtain and down the ramp and into the ring. HE acknowledges Orton without breaking his monster gimmick........I think I’m cute....Shawn Michaels dances down to the ring in his usual charismatic style, Orton and Khali get out of the ring as HBK rids himself of his paraphernalia. Suddenly the countdown begins. 5....4....3....2....1....Blackout!! The Chris Jericho is stood on the stage as fireworks fill the arena. Y2J makes his way into the ring. There’s an awkward moment between HBK & Jericho where they are obviously recognising the previous feud the two had. Then they shake hands and prepare for the match. A Blackout in the arena as The Undertaker appears through the smoke and makes his way into the ring. He then turns around to look at the entranceway when the returning Bobby Lashley appears, finally back from his injury.)

JR: Let me just remind you at home, that two men will be in the ring at all times, and they can tag in anybody from any team in the match.

Triple-Threat Tag-Team match
Randy Orton & Great Khali v HBK & Chris Jericho v The Undertaker & Lashley.

The Finish:
Khali was in the match almost all the way through, Orton managed to always avoid a tag, and everyone else was getting beaten primarily by Khali. Chris Jericho manages to get a tag to Lashley who runs at Khali, Khali swings an arm but Lashley ducks, comes off the ropes and hits a spear as he comes back. This leads to Orton jumping in the ring and kicking Lashley in the head after the ref had tried to cound the pin and only made it to 1....2.... Y2J, HBK & The Undertaker then get in the ring and it becomes a 6-man free for all. Khali hits a big boot to Lashley. While he is looking down, Y2J attempts his bulldog only for Khali to stay stood up sending Jericho crashing in his back. The Undertaker then clotheslines Jericho out of the ring and goes with him. This leaves Khali, Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton in the ring. HBK attempts offence on Orton but is interrupted by Khali who hits Michaels with a big head-butt. Orton goes for an RKO but HBK avoids it and sends Orton into Khali, HBK then hits HBK with a Sweet Chin Music but Khali just leans against the ropes. HBK then takes a run up and like The Undertaker takes himself & Khali out of the ring, leaving just Randy Orton stood in the ring. The Undertaker has now gotten into the ring. Orton turns around straight into a tombstone piledriver and cover 1....2.....3

Winners by pin fall: The Undertaker & Bobby Lashley

The Undertaker gets down on one knee and the lights come down. There are bodies everywhere from the destruction as Raw goes off the air.

21st January
Charlottesville, Virginia

A video shows of The Outsiders leaving Nitro last week after being fired with the old WCW talent such as Sting & Bret Hart shaking their hands as they left.

(Straight away the Hart Foundation 2.0 music hits and they makes their way to the ring. However this time, DH Smith & Teddy Hart are not dressed to compete and just make their way out with Bret, “The Anvil” and Jimmy Hart. As they are walking down the ramp we hear for Tony Schaivone,)

TS: Welcome to Monday Nitro, and on the back of The despicable actions by Eric Bischoff & The Steiners last week, their will be no Outsiders on Nitro any more. But a team who will be on Nitro, are The Hart Foundation, and these guys put on the performance of a lifetime last week against Hall & Nash.

Brain: Oh yes they did, Tony, but tonight the Hart Foundation is suppose to be in action tonight, but it appears as though Smith & Teddy Hart aren’t about to compete.

(Bret gets a microphone and begins to speak;)

Bret: You may have heard that the Hart Foundation are in action and believe me they are. But the thing is, it won’t be these two here, you see The Hart Foundation has two more members which we just thought we would save until they were read, and believe me they are! So I give to you, accompanied by my lovely niece Nattie Niedhart: T.J Wilson!!! His partner has a lot in common with the Hart Foundation and thus he will fit in greatly with our family. Here he is; Ted Dibiase jnr!!!

(The two young starlets make their way to the ring in the traditional black & pink. The rest of the stable clear the ring and they prepare for their match. John Morrison’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring accompanied by Melina. Then his tag-team partner Charlie Haas enters. The two agree on who is going to start the match and it gets underway)

The Hart Foundation 2.0 (Ted DiBiase jnr & TJ Wilson) v John Morrison & Charlie Haas w/ Melina

The Finish:
After some good early offence by the young tag-team, the experienced tag wrestlers of Morrison & Haas managed to get the advantage and keep DiBiase cornered utilising the quick tags. Haas then got over confident and went for a big cross body off the top rope, which DiBiase managed to avoid. Both men managed to get the tag, and Wilson hit Morrison & Haas with impressive dropkicks. They were then on the ropes and DiBiase ran and tried to clothesline them both over the top rope Morrison ducked but Haas got taken over the top rope. Morrison laughed at Haas but as he turned around Wilson hit a hurracanrana on him then locked him in The Sharpshooter to the satisfaction of The Hitman on the outside Morrison taps giving the two rookies the win.

Winners by submission: TJ Wilson & Ted DiBiase Jnr.

The Hart Foundation leave the ring celebrating and just leave Morrison & Haas in the ring. Morrison takes a microphone and has some words for the fans;

Morrison: A few weeks ago, Eric Bischoff was backstage at Raw and he asked me, Charlie Haas, The Highlanders, Chuck Palumbo and other guys in the back if we wanted to join his “new vision” in WCW. At the time it seemed like a good idea, and it appears to have worked out for some of the guys. The Highlanders are the Tag-Team champions, Palumbo joined the Natural Born Thrillers, but what happened to me and Charlie? Nothing!!!! We are stuck in matches against rookies making their debuts. Do they not understand, that I am a former ECW World Champion? Another thing is Eric Bischoff! See, I didn’t like Nash & Hall, they were quite frankly overweight old guys who had no place left in WWE, but I still don’t think they should have been screwed out of their jobs by Bischoff. So that’s why I’m going to go to Stamford and kiss whoever’s ass I have to, in order to get my job back in WWE. Screw you Eric!!

Haas: Me too!!

-Commercial-

TS: Before the break we saw John Morrison & Charlie Haas announcing that they will be leaving WCW and they blamed Eric Bischoff as being the cause for this decision. Is Bischoff going to kill off WCW before it has even started?

Brain: I don’t think Ric Flair will let that happen. He has been instrumental in the WCW name living on, so I don’t think he will let it die that easily.

TS: Well, that’s four guys we’ve lost in the last week and we’re only 25 minutes into this weeks broadcast. But...the show must go on, and up next we’ve got a Royal Rumble Qualifying match, and I can’t help but thinking if WCW can have the winner of The Royal Rumble then we will certainly make a name for ourselves.

(OOOOOOOOOOOO Chavo!!!!!!!! Chavo appears and receives a chorus of boo’s from the crowd. Kenny Dykstra comes out next and shakes hands with Chavo, it appears as though they’re teaming up and the Qualifying match is going to be a tag-team match. YO IT’S ME IT’S ME IT’S D....D......P!!!! Diamond Dallas Page comes through the curtain and does his regular pose on the stage to set off the pyro. He gets in the ring and pulls his fist back which immediately leads to Guerrero & Dykstra diving out of the ring. He looks to the stage awaiting his partner then suddenly....The Macho Man Randy Savage appears. The aged Savage who is past a suitable level of competition, but still able to get round the ring and still able to get the most amazing reaction from the crowd)

Chavo Guerrero & Kenny Dykstra v Diamond Dallas Page & “Macho Man” Randy Savage

The Finish:
Savage started and dominated early on. He tagged-in Page who after some early domination was cornered by Dykstra & Guerrero who began with the offence. Chavo hit the three amigo’s on Page in dedication to Eddie then tagged in Kenny. Kenny went up to the top rope and Chavo held Page down. As Kenny went for the big leg drop, Page managed to get away from Chavo and pull him in the way of Kenny. Page then tagged in Savage and the two veterans began with the shots to Dykstra. Diamond Dallas Page hit a diamond cutter on Kenny leaving him out in the middle of the ring. Savage went to the top rope (just) and hit the double axe handle on Chavo as he got up (looks like his elbow days are behind him) Savage then covers Guerrero 1....2.....3

Winners by pinfall to qualify for the Royal Rumble: DDP & Randy Savage

TS: How great was that Bobby? To see that after all these years the Macho Man can still come flying off the top rope with that devastating double axe handle.

Bobby: That’s right Tony, The Macho Man: Often imitated, never duplicated, he is truly one of a kind.

-Commercial-

TS: It would appear as though the Royal Rumble Qualifiers just aren’t going to stop because we have another one up next, and Buff “The Stuff” Bagwell has his chance to qualify for the Rumble!

(Buff Bagwell’s music hits and he comes rapidly out onto the stage. He then makes his way to the ring in his trademark top hat and continues to pose in the ring and then turns to await his opponent.....we see a man knock on a door backstage and security waiting outside...

TS: Oh my God Bobby, It’s Goldberg!!

Brain: And it seems as if Buff has just lost his “Stuff” he’s just gone limp before the biggest match of his life

TS: and that’s not good for any man, but back to the match!

(Goldberg makes his way to the ring. The pyro goes off and he walks through the sparklers looking focussed, he gets in the ring and stares at Bagwell.)

Goldberg V Buff Bagwell

The Finish:
Goldberg is all over Bagwell from the start just throwing him around the ring and laying into him with kicks and punches until Bagwell pulls the ref in close and when he can’t see the back of Goldberg, hits him with a low-blow to halt the offence. Bagwell then manages to get in a few minutes of good offence. Bagwell then gets Goldberg in the middle of the ring and sets him up for a vertical suplex, Goldberg just comes back onto his feet and shoves Bagwell against the ropes. As Bagwell comes off the ropes Goldberg almost breaks him in two with a spear. Goldberg allows him to get up before hitting the Jackhammer and pinning Bagwell 1...2....3

Winner by Pinfall and qualifying for the Royal Rumble: Goldberg

-Backstage Interview-

(Todd Grisham is stood with the Blue Blood stable, with William Regal at the front.)

Grisham: William R-

Regal: It’s Sir William Regal you pathetic little rogue

Grisham: Oh sorry, Sir William Regal, tonight you are teaming up against the tag-team champions in a non-title match and the rumours are that if you win the match you will be the number one contenders for the titles. Are you confident that you can beat The Highlanders?

Regal: Those two bloody Neanderthals who call themselves British are a disgrace to our Queen’s shores and to those Tag-Team championship belts. That’s why tonight we will get in that ring and beat the bloody hell out of them and then win our title match following that to become the right royal tag-team champions! Good day sir!

(Back in the arena and the Highlanders music hits. Out they come with Rowdy Roddy Piper accompanying them once again. Piper makes sure they are focused and ready for the match. Rule Britannia plays and The Blue Blood make their way out. Finlay isn’t dressed to compete so it looks like it will be William Regal & Drew McIntyre.)

William Regal & Drew McIntyre w/Finlay v The Highlanders w/ Roddy Piper

The Finish:
After being dominated for the majority of the match, Rory finally managed to get the tag and turn the tide for the Highlanders. Finlay ran around the ring and took out Piper with the Irish flag. The referee then leant over the ropes to see what Finlay was doing he ordered him to the back but Finlay protested. While he was protesting another man came through the crowd in a luchadore mask. He hit a C4 on Robbie. Rory then went for him leaving Regal to apply the STF to Rory. Rory tapped as the referee focused his attention back on the match.

Winners by submission: Blue Blood

The Aftermath:
The masked man got back in the ring and started beating The Highlanders out of the ring. He then unmasked to reveal that it was in fact Paul Birchall. William Regal handed him an Englsh flag, leading to Regal, BIrchall, McIntyre and Finlay (who had made his way back to ringside) stood in the ring waving their flags and signalling that they would be the next tag-team champions.

TS: Again Bobby, This Blue Blooded group have once again made an impact here on Nitro and they have earned themselves a WCW title shot in the near future.

Brain: Yes they have and now with Paul Birchall they have a real mix of youth, experience, power and technical abilities.

-Commercial-

(Kidman’s music hits and the WCW cruiserweight champion makes his way down to the ring. He gets a good reaction from the crowd. Next out is Rey Mysterio who gets an even bigger reaction.)

TS: This match has been made by Ric Flair and is a cruiserweight title match because Flair thought Mysterio was screwed out of the title two weeks ago

WCW Cruiserweight Title
Rey Mysterio v Billy Kidman

The Finish:
Mysterio & Kidman exchange hurracanrana’s and top rope manoeuvre’s in the same way Austin & The Undertaker would exchange right hands. Kidman eventually gets Mysterio off the ropes and hits him with a sit down powerbomb-like-move. The cruiserweight champion then goes up to the top rope and dives to Mysterio aiming a shooting star press. Mysterio avoids it and rolls up Kidman 1...2....Kidman kicks out. Kidman picks up Mysterio to go for another powerbomb but Mysterio rolls out and throws Kidman onto the middle rope in position for the 619. Mysterio then hits the 619 but before he makes contact Malenko has come from under the ring and grabs Mysterio’s feet. It impedes Mysterio giving Kidman time to get up, he hits a back suplex followed up by a shooting star press and the pin 1....2.....3.

Winner by pinfall & still WCW Cruiserweight champion: Billy Kidman!

The Aftermath: Kidman helps up Mysterio after the match and starts shouting up the ramp at Dean Malenko who has screwed Mysterio out of the cruiserweight title again.

TS: If you are wondering why we haven’t heard anything from Booker-T tonight it’s because he showed up at Raw and the reports we are getting are that Booker-T has left Mr. Kennedy on his back in the middle of the ring.

Brain: and that’s exactly what he’s going to do Sunday at the Royal Rumble before getting the number 30 spot in the Rumble and beating the 29 other guys.

TS: and when we come back after thecommercial break we’ve got the WCW champion going one on one with the man who ended the Outsider’s career last week; Scott Steiner.

-Commercial-

(Scott Steiner’s music hits and the crowd begin booing frantically. As he appears through the curtain accompanied by Rick Steiner the boos just get louder. He gets in the ring and begins preparing for his match. The blackout follows and Sting appears at the top of some of the steps in the crowd. The lights go out again and when they come back on he is in the ring. The crowd go wild at the sight of the WCW champion. The two square up and suddenly Eric Bischoff’s music plays and he appears on stage with a microphone)

Bischoff: Seeing as how Ric Flair decided to go around making WCW title matches for the Royal Rumble, I have decided to add a couple of extra elements to tonights match. First of all this match now has a special guest referee!

(Out comes Sid, in a referee shirt, he passes Bischoff and makes his way to the ring,)

Bischoff: Secondly, Sting. If you lay a finger on Sid before the Royal Rumble you will instantaneously be stripped of the WCW Championship!

Sting v Scott Steiner
Special Referee: Sycho Sid

The Finish:
Sid calls the match right down the middle throughout. Steiner & Sting swap offence and neither can really get the upper hand until Steiner hits the complete shot and pins sting 1...2....Sting kicks out. Steiner tries to put Sting in the Steiner recliner. Sting manages to grab one of Scott’s legs and reverse it into the Scorpion Death lock. Sid quickly calls for the bell despite it looking like Steiner didn’t actually tap.

Winner by Submission: Sting

The Aftermath:
Sid collects the WCW title belt and waits until Sting gets up. He then hands the belt to Sting and offers out his hand to be shaken. Sting is hesitant but realises that if Sid does anything he loses his title match. Sting reluctantly shakes his hand, but when he does Sid immediately goes down on the floor clutching his hand. Eric Bischoff then makes his way to the ring with a microphone

Bischoff: Sting, that’s it, you just couldn’t help yourself could you? Therefore you are officially stripped of the WCW Championship.
(WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Flair appears on the stage)

Flair: Bischoff! That’s the biggest load of crap I’ve ever heard in my life. Sting isn’t stripped of the title unless it can be proven that Sid has been injured by Sting.

(Sid looks at Sting and makes his hand into a fist proving it’s ok. It looks as though he’s going to hit Sting, when out of nowhere Scott Steiner attacks Sting. The Steiner’s continue to kick Sting while he’s down. Scott Steiner hits a reverse DDT and the four men leave, with Sting laid out in the middle of the ring as Nitro goes off the air)

He hit a T-Bone on Punk & then set him up for the Tazmission. Taz tried to locl in the Tazmission but Punk flipped him over and forced him into the turnbuckle. Punk went to the top rope and waited for Taz to get up. He went for the Big Axe Handle off the top rope but Taz managed to duck and lock in the Tazmission forcing the referee to stop the match

(Joel Gertner is with the Dudleys)

Gertner: Last week The bWo manage to get the better of you guys for the second week in a row. This week you will face the bWo again, this time in a 6-man tables match. Do you think you can finally get the job done.

Bubba: Tonight, Joel Gertner when the Blue World Order get in the ring with the Dudleys, they will realise why we are the most successful tag-team in history. We held the ECW, WWE, WCW and..erm...some other tag-titles on a Thursday night, and we didn’t win them by mistake. We won them because we are without doubt the greatest Tag-Team ever!!

(bWo’s music hits and Stevie Cool along with The Meanie & Nova make their way to the ring satiring the nWo.....Next the Dudleys make their entrance and are looking much more serious than usual and as soon as they get in the ring they go straight for the bWo)

6-Man Tag
bWo v Dudleys

The Finish:
Spike set up a table on the outside on one side of the ring whiles Nova set one up on the other side. The other four brawled inside the ring. Nova threw a chair into Richards who took D-Von out with it. He then saved the Blue Meanie from Bubba. With Bubba & D-Von down, Spike tried to make the save, but Big Stevie Cool hit a super kick. The three members of the bWo then picked up Spike and threw him outside the ring and through the table. They then all pick up D-Von and look to do the same to him at the other side of the ring. Bubba gets up and manages to stop them. The five brawl in the ring until Spike throws in a chair. Richards picks it up first but D-Von manages to hit it back in his face. He then uses the same chair on the Blue Meanie. D-Von proceeds to set up a table in the ring. Bubba clotheslines Richards over the top rope. Bubba goes to the middle rope, and D-Von lifts up Blue Meanie onto Bubba ray. Bubba powerbombs The Meanie through the table. The Dudleys now are fired up after getting the scores back level. Another table is put in the ring by Spike whi is eliminated from the match but helping on the outside. The Dudleys set them both up and get Richards & Nova in opposite corners. Suddenly Spike gets in the ring and lights the tables. With two flaming tables in the ring The Dudleys set up the remaining members of the bWo for a superplex. However due to the time being taken by The Dudleys to set up the tables and light them. Both Richards and Nova shove the Dudleys off the top rope through the flaming tables to get the win.

Winners: The Blue World Order

JS: Next up we’ve got RVD in action in action.

(RVD’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring to the adulation of the crowd. He high fives them on his way towards the ring. He gets in the ring and awaits his opponent. Shelton Benjamin enters the ring as he has been chosen by Rhyno.)

Shelton Benjamin v Rob Van Dam w/ Bill Alfonso

The Finish:
Benjamin manages to dictate the majority of the match after RVD’s early offence. Benjamin sets up RVD for a DDT. Van Dam gets out of it and hits a fury of kicks, Benjamin catches RVD’s foot. RVD goes for an enziguiri but Benjamin avoids it. He then begins kicking RVD but Van Dam catches Benjamin’s foot. He swings around Benjamin who tries to kick RVD on his way around but RVD manages to avoid that. The crowd love that. Benjamin then hits a clothesline out of nowhere. He then allows RVD to get up in the corner before going for the Splash but RVD moves and picks up a chair what Alfonso slid in. He throws the chair to Benjamin and hits a VanDaminator. RVD then goes up to the top and hits a Five-Star Frog Splash 1.....2....3

JS: Up next we have the WWE’s own Mr. Kennedy, who has been invited by ECW’s own Paul Heyman to compete against an ECW wrestler. So it will be a WWE Superstar taking on an ECW Wrestler.

(Miiiisssssssstttteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer KKKeeeeeeeeeeeenedyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Mr. Kennedy comes to the ring spitting on the floor as he makes his way to the ring. Chants of “F**k You Ken, and “ECW” fill the arena as there is an obvious hatred for all things WWE. Kennedy gets in the ring awaiting his opponent when Paul Heyman’s music hits.)

Heyman: Kennedy, Tonight you have been invited to take part in an ECW match, seeing as you like to interfere in CM Punk’s business so much. But it left me thinking, who could we have you facing tonight? A few names have gone through my head, Tommy Dreamer? Colt Cabana? Balls Mahoney? The Hardcore Icon: The Sandman? And then I thought no, so Mr Kennedy Kennedy I give you your opponent for tonight....RAAAAAAAAAAAVEN!!!!!

(Raven appears on the stage with a steel chair in hand. He then makes his way to Mr. Kennedy who is by ready for action)

Raven v Mr. Kennedy

The Finish:
Raven immediately swings the chair at Kennedy, but Kennedy ducks and manages to avoid it. Kennedy then starts beating Raven, and laying into him with right hands. Kennedy then runs the match and has the offence. He sets Raven up for the Green Bay plunge with a chair in the ring to land on. As Kennedy makes his movement, Raven manages to reverse it into a DDT onto that same chair. Raven stands up and salutes the crowd. Raven goes outside the ring and gets another chair and starts hitting Kennedy with the chair until it is ruined and dinted. Raven then gets a Barbed Wire board from outside the ring and lays it in the middle of the ring. He sets Kennedy up for the Raven effect DDT, but Kennedy gets out of it and tries to throw Raven onto it. Raven gets out of it and after a lot of failed attempts at throwing each other onto the barbed wire, Kennedy has Raven set up for a vertical suplex. Raven goes all the way over and then lands a bulldog on Kennedy on the barbed wire. Then with no care for his own well being dives on Kennedy and pins him on the barbed wire 1...2...3.

Winner by Pinfall: Raven

Foley: Joe, it’s now time for the Battle Royal to determine who else is guaranteed a spot in the Royal Rumble match this coming Sunday.

JS: It certainly is Mick, and no one really know who is going to be in this thing

(The entrants make their way out to shortened entrances to save time; Axl Rotten & Balls Mahoney, Al Snow, The FBI, Colt Cabana, Noble, Yang, Impact Players, Tanaka, Whipwreck, Psicosis, Sandman, Super Crazy & Tommy Dreamer.)

Last Chance Battle Royal

The Finish:
A pretty regular Battle Royal where the FBI tried teamwork but were in fact thrown out of the ring straight away by everyone else. Sandman pursued to lay out as many people as he could with the Singapore Cane. All kinds of unusual weapons were brought into the ring, chairs, 2x4’s, Singapore Cane’s, Mannequin head, Road Signs. Etc Rotten & Mahoney eliminated the Impact players before themselves being eliminated by Al Snow & Tommy Dreamer. Super Crazy then aimed a high spinning wheel kick at Dreamer & Snow who ducked leaving Crazy to fly over the top rope and eliminate himself. Noble & Yang then did manage to eliminate snow and Dreamer, the two cruiserweights continued to brawl with each other and when Jimmy Yang went for the big moonsault, Noble managed to push him over the top rope and eliminate him. As Noble was at the ropes looking pleased with himself Sandman cracked him over the back of his head with the Cane sending him over the top rope. Tanaka and Mikey Whipwreck are brawling near the rope, but Tanaka hits a T-Bone like manoeuvre on Whipwreck over the top rope to eliminate him. Just Tanaka, Sandman & Colt Cabana are left. Cabana hits the Colt 45 on Sandman leaving him sprawled out in the ring. Tanaka then clotheslines Colt Cabana over the top rope, but Cabana lands on the apron. Shane Douglas on the outside grabs Tanaka distracting him, leaving Cabana the opportunity to throw the ECW original over the top rope and leave just Cabana & Sandman in the ring. By now Sandman has gotten back to his feet and clotheslines Cabana taking both men out of the ring and both hit the floor at the same time. But Shane Douglas lands under Colt Cabana meaning that his feet don’t hit the floor until after Sandman’s do.

Winner: Colt Cabana

The Aftermath:
Douglas laughs at his achievement and celebrates in the ring with Cabana until Paul Heyman’s music hits and he appears on the stage once again.

Heyman: That’s not how we do things in ECW. I have to admire your deviousness to manage a plan like that and I can’t deny the fact that you won the match, but I will not have an ECW screwed out of a place in The Royal Rumble like that. So The Sandman will also receive a place in Sunday’s Royal Rumble!!

JS: Wow Mick, It looks like Heyman believes in justice here in the Land of Extreme!

Foley: He just wants the best for ECW Joey, and up next the best of ECW is in action as our Champion Rhyno is set to face the Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal death defying maniac Sabu!!

-Commercial-

(Sabu’s music hits and he appears on the stage with Bill Alfonso who also accompanied RVD earlier. He points to the sky and proceeds to walk down to the ring showing no emotion what so ever. He gets in the ring and prepares for the match, Rhyno then makes his way through the curtain and to Sabu.)

ECW Champion Rhyno v Sabu

The Finish:
Sabu hits numerous high flying moves on Rhyno until Rhyno manages to get back on top with powerful moves such as a spinebuster. Rhyno then waits for Sabu to get up and hits him with a Gore as promised earlier. RVD then runs down the ramp and climbs up onto the turnbuckle. Rhyno turns around and RVD hits a Karate Kick from the top. He then starts laying into Rhyno until Taz appears and attacks RVD. By now Sabu is back up and dropkicks Taz in the back. RVD keeps pounding Rhyno whilst Sabu lays into Taz with a chair. RVD & Sabu la Rhyno & Taz in two different turnbuckles and go to the far end of the ring. Both men hit the coast to coast on Taz & Rhyno to the excitement of Bill Alfonso. Sabu then hits an Arabian Facebuster on Rhyno and pins him 1....2....3

Winner by Pinfall: Sabu

The Aftermath:
The ring is cleared except for Sabu & RVD who stand toe to toe. These former partners who will be facing each other at The Royal Rumble match in the Fatal-Four-Way. The two shake hands and Bill Alfonso starts blowing his whistle frantically. RVD then kicks Sabu in the side of the head but Sabu ducks and rolls out of the ring. RVD stares at Sabu as he makes his way out of the ring. RVD signals that he was just inches away and that’s all it would take Sunday at The Rumble as ECW goes off the air.
