Well, it's half 8 in the evening, I've watched some 24 (present), the Christmas special of Doctor Who, and am full of food that will inevitably be very bad for me. All that's really left to say really is......

MERRY CHRISTMAS, ONE AND ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, the question.

What makes Christmas special for you?

Normally it's the family but this year my friends made it special by being there for me. I can't put into words how much they've helped me out. It's been a pretty tough year for me for a variety of reasons and my friends have been the one to prop me up my feet and really help me break out and take the first steps to becoming the person I've always wanted to be. I had to work today and it was a pretty exhausting time but coming home and talking with my friends over Skype and just chatting about our days and the year and the times we've been there for each other really made me appreciate the changed man I am. They're helping me realize my full potential and I love them so much.

Family/Friends/GOOD Food. You can't have a good Christmas with a shit dinner.

This year also, the added bonus of Skyrim/F1 2011/Batman: AC/Need For Speed: The Run.

My PS3 is gonna start hating me.

Yup. Christmas would be meaningless if it weren't for my kids.

My family. I got to see my little neice for the first time yesterday, and it made me even more excited about the impending birth of my child. All the gifts in the world couldn't make up for the excitement of seeing the joy of my twin sister's neice and nephew as they opened gifts. We as adults can be so picky, but kids are so innocent at times like these, and they get excited at anything you get them. This was probably the best Christmas of my life, and the kiddies were the biggest reason why, no question. Any apprehension I had about having a child went away after yesterday. And I'll have my own to share the holidays with next year!

It's always been my family for me. I have somwhere in the neighborhood of 35 cousins on my mom's side of the family and i'm extremely close w/a few of them, so it's always nice to spend time together. These days, my 6 yr old neice also really makes the day special. My brother and his wife have been seperated for about a year and lives at my house, so being that he has shared custody, my neice lives with me about half of the time, and as much as I'm pulling for them to get back together as a family, her growing up in front of my eyes is something that I will always cherish.


Plus, my Uncle's hot sausage, that he ONLY makes on Xmas. It's my favorite!
